Brother my advice,
1.Start applying like 6months before your POP,APPLY APPLY & APPLY..
2.Pray to God
3.Contact people....friends,relatives etc....because connection follow.
4.Gather the Basic certifications in your field.
5.Improve on your soft skills,be ready to sell yourself...
My Experience
I was a Batch B 2012 corper that just passed out in June...I started applying since November last year,i wrote several Aptitude Tests and went for interviews.I had to learn from the experiences of all the tests n interviews i had .I finally got one ( Thank God!!!). Just this morning i got two mails from companies i applied to months ago. All the above listed worked or me o.Like someone said,it MAY not work you but i think there are some positives to take from what i've said.

Yes.. i just got an invite but there was a mistake in the name...It is not my name though i applied . Mine is 28th march.

@OP...Very correct...alot of GRE questions were solved in there #whitehouse#....ended up getting a good score,best place to to tink if u ask me...

@op, u have the right to speak up if that man keeps maltreating u. Ur posting letter stated that ur employer has no right to over work you. Look for another PPA and ask the man for a rejection letter, report him at the NYSC secetariate if u have to. The other corpers in ur school should be ur witness(es)

Well said!.....Corpers r really suffering. Jst Imagine o, the principal at my ppa wants me to take...F/maths SS1-3,Maths 1-3,Intro tech jss 1-3...God know say e nor fit work....*15weeks 2days to go..
@OP...from your post,Your employer has failed in its Statutory responsibilities.Read your posting letter it is stated there,you'll know what to do .As for the subjects,my guy just do it.
