I do not charge on "wahala" like sharing relevant information to applicants, but I charge for registration depending on the length of process and/or available documents of the individual. My MINIMUM charge for PG registration is N2,500 (two thousand five hundred naira) for those within Ibadan, and a MINIMUM of N3,500 for those outside the State as they would have to forward their documents and other details to me via email and SMS. But, it can be negotiated on certain grounds. The most important thing is trust and patience especially for those not in Ibadan. It is a long, rigorous and even frustrating process. If you or anyone is interested, let me know.
I will see you at the event if I am included though I am based in Ibadan.

An open relaxation spot on the University's campus. It will be communicated via SMS/call mainly to the interested participants. I have already pasted the notice at the Tedder Hall notice board, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Theatre Arts, and Sociology Departments, etc.
I will like to be included.

It is a good and important discipline. It used to be under Faculty of the Social Sciences for many decades but became a separate Faculty in early part of 2018. If you want any assistance in registration or information then reach me through inbox. You live in or close to Ibadan?
How much are you charging for your wahala?

So true. Growing up I never heard even one negative thing said about igbos by my parents or any of their generation. We were taught to sympathise with them, encourage them and admire them for what they went through in the civil war.

Its so sad to realise that the parents on the other side were busy breeding hatred and training their children to despise the Yoruba's.

And forget those that say it's just online. It's not. They just keep it well hidden.
And at the moment like this, I always appreciate our parents that taught and inculcate in us 'no hatred for anyone'.

PoliticsRe: All Yoruba And Igbo Must Read This! by ib0221: 1:41pm On Jun 15, 2018
Whenever I come across divisive topic like this, I aways feel pain in my chest. If only people can live and let live and work to forge a peaceful and progressive future for all. I believe I can speak for post-civil-war yoruba generation. That generation were not taught all these internecine hate-filled narrative. All I can remember was that Igbos were decimated and should be encouraged in all facets ( I can remember a man then that had almost 12 children, while people were castigating Yoruba family with more than five children, they supported and justified the man decision). Other tribes were just neighbours with different tongues. This was my belief until at university in 90's when some Igbo friends poured out bile continously in my prescence. The irony of it is that their parents were living in Ibadan and they, their family and properties were never threatened during or after the war according to them. Till today, I will not teach my children hatred, but, I know, some Yorubas are not taken it. lightly.

Hello Bro I'm not comparing both dates. As far as I'm concerned both dates are significant but in my own humble opinion, May 29th should be retained as democracy day and june 12 should be Abiola day. MKO should be immortalised by naming a public monument eg a university or a stadium as well.
I concur.

The question remains;
Why honour a man who I am sure is in hellfire?
You watch what you say or write. How do you know he is in hell or you are in hell typing?
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola Applauds Buhari On Recognising June 12 by ib0221: 3:05pm On Jun 07, 2018
obi58:
As far as I'm concerned, Aregbesola is just playing to the gallery.

Whilst it is laudable that MKO is being recognized, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt from an administration that has done nothing to encourage the growth of free and fair politics in the 3 years of government. There has been abuse for rule of law, outright refusal to comply with court orders, villification of the political opposition, intimidation of people's freedom of speech, enshrining of politics of win at all costs and of course introduction of the BMC propaganda machine.

Yes June 12th should be immortalised but not at the expense of May 29th which also is a very significant day in the history of Nigeria's politics being the day we finally embraced democracy in Nigeria.
No, you are wrong there. June 12 is more important and indelible in the anal of history. May 29 is a product of June 12, in all raminification. Just ask and I will explain.

Respect they say is reciprocal. You cannot demand respect from me when you haven't extended such courtesy. Not to even talk of a Yoruba for that matter.
I was taught not to demand respect from anyone except from myself. Therefore, I couldn't have demanded it from you.

Oosha says, save those worthy to be saved. Those who do the work of sharing, who love life and respect life.

Sango wasn't a tryant, he warred only against the wicked. People including some Yoruba fear Sango because he was a Stern judge. Sango ended evil witchcraft and evil cults could not match his mighty Calvary. People hundreds of miles got neck bumps just hearing the name Alaafin. I read the history and I know the truth. All rebels hate Sango like they hated Shaka Zulu and Omugabe Kabalega for they like Sango were strong Kings who brought Justice. Not all Negros are for a moral standard. So remember OOsha and save only those worthy to be saved.

What a waste of time and resources on complexities and hatred!
CultureRe: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by ib0221:
@ steveosaz, I don't propagate or fight for superiority. One thing has been clear to me right from University days- values of things in general is transient and depend on man, time, situation and aspect. War is old men talking and youth dying while the kings count wealth and the other classes count bodies. I know because I am from a royal family. Let kill ignorance and hatred and live to live a meaningful life. As someone once said- we must learn to live as brothers and sisters or will all perish as fools.

Yes, practical infomation like arts and crafts, sharing farming techniques and buliding knowledge. Too much Pan Afrikan focuses upon yabbing at the mouth about unity of all Afikans. Save those who want to be saved, OOSHA evolves, rather the Great Mother, we must refine our ways and evolve. Pan Yoruba must learn from the mistakes of Pan Afrikan and put forward sharing as a principle to save our people. I can share my guidance on how you youths can succeed that focuses upon gathering resoucres, building social network, and solidifying power bases. I can guide to a political idealolgy that would bring together the government and traditional parties into one. Sharing is the key to stop the separartion of different Yorubas from each other and different ethnic Nigerians from each other.

True talk.. I was expecting the Yorubas to be like the Igbos who accepts the past the way it is and promotes and touts their present, and work for a better future.. but they choose to distort the past for reasons I still cannot understand. Is it shame or pride? I do not know.
Anyways my Kingdom lives on forever.. even in defeat to the British we have not lost our pride or our Kingdom.
I am liberal and in that respect believe that culture is always changing and evolving. Men are different to make a beautiful whole. I cannot vainly glorify in my forebears because I don't want to die in the shadow of their glory (they achieve those not me ) and future is essence to me.

I think we can come together to establish a center or foundation for the purpose of research and dissemination of information. I would be glad if we can achieve this. A caveat at this juncture is justified- I don't live, preach and support incivility, tribalism/tribal jingoism, vituperation and hatred. Please my eminent persons- Olu317, KingSango, Obalufon, BabaRamota1980, Metaphysical, moneywomen, even davidnazee and the rest I can't remember now, let work for our generation unborn.

Being polygamous does not make one a monster, a monster will always be a monster. We hear stories of monogamous men battering their wives everyday. I came from polygamous home and I can tell you, we were better than many monos. "Women make home"

The library at Sango have been converted to National Open University.
Though, I last used both libraries in 1998 there is no way you can have more books than a state state library. I would love to believe that you are being sarcastic.

Fmr Senate President David Mark recently built a multi million dollar *Catholic Church* in his home town... Same town the nearest pipe borne water is 500km away.

Same way 1.5billion was used in building *Ilorin Central mosque*... Same town that has no Library.

What exactly is the function of religion in this world..?
There are two main libraries in Ilorin, state ( Post Office) and federal ( Sango).
