Umartins1:I will suggest your bro register for the screening and wait for unilag to compute his aggregate for him using his jamb score and waec grade. |
hosex:you are welcome bro |
Ron9ja:Where u run go all these while |

Why can't Odua investment company invest in milling of rice. Odua investment is the official business arm of 6 states in the southwest combined, why can't it just own a rice plantation abi our soil cannot plant rice in the south west ni. Rice is in high demand in this country, why can't we just be self sufficient in the production of rice. I will urge the Buhari govt to continue to restrict importation of rice till we receive sense in this country that we should be able to produce what we eat. If we cannot produce rice then let's go back to eating our ewedu and ofe nsala which are more nutritious than ric itself. |
Our economy is seriously bleeding. Henceforth anyone who wants to go for pilgrimage should sponsor him or herself. That's all. Its not a matter of religion, its a matter of reality. |
Nawa o. I thought he issued Jibrin a seven day ultimatum to retract his statement. The speaker has goofed and am sure this statement will make him lose his position as speaker. He is trying to tell us that it's right to do a bad thing in as much as there is no law that says its bad. Thunder strike Dogara |
Rilwayne001:as far as I know. it is |
7k after feeding and transport per week, at least 28k per month. That's a sizeable income for an undergraduate. Few teachers with Degree salary no reach that o let alone we remove transport fare and feeding. |
Babzilla:Comparing power sector to this shows how brilliant you are. keep it up. |
If its true then a welcome development. The only issue is that it should not be owned by govt o. This one am seeing obiano pix, its like all these are to secure second term.. Even if its owned by govt as we speak, it should be privatized gradually |
I always see myself as a realist, Nigerian universities especially oau and ui that are seen as the last hope of the masses are now drifting away from what they used to be. The idea of asking every tom dick and harry that score above 200 to register for screening is a gimmick to exploit Nigerians. While it is true that we all want to take our chances no matter how slim they are, I have the believe no matter how religious one is, we cannot all be admitted. Jamb has done the honorable thing by posting candidates to every Skul based on student performance and capacity of the school while also considering ELDS and catchment area. Our Universities rejected this because it gives them fewer candidates and hence lower IGR from sales of form hiding under senate of the school is in charge of admission. I don't know the reason jamb allowed oau to charge 6k for screening, as reasonable as Unilag 2500 is, it is still much for screening. Educational sector needs intellectual revolution. Note. UI has not invited candidates for screening but am sure they will follow suit. |
Nice one from Unilag. They have communicated the weight of each examination body to the public. While it's easy to calculate your weight for utme, we are still so much in the dark as to how waec grades will be allocated. Unilag admission committee should haba stop all these inefficiencies nah. They should by common sense know that candidates will want to know their aggregate. |
FuckMynd44:Chairman why u change ur moniker, anyways u don enter jare. shebi na crs education. Go get ur document ready. |
jaymejate:I dunno o but there is no point lying sha |
sundihno:If I were u, I will just honestly answer the question. |
I vote Vizkiz Cc NLjega |
nurez:Bros no way. You should have made proper enquiry, unilag has always accepted just one sitting. you cannot study Chinese or Yoruba education with two sitting in Unilag. Just take your mind off it. |
Will unilag conduct post utme exams as being predicted by some bloggers, I believe the answer is no. http://afritalks.com/threads/will-there-be-unilag-post-utme-exam-or-not.1345/ |
achmed1:There is no guideline for direct entry. What certificate are u using to apply for direct entry. |
FrancisTony:Lol this guy sha, read my post and comment again. The issue isn't about credibility, it is about communicating to the public how they intend to come up with candidate aggregate. Be it 50:50. 60:40 or 70:30, they should sha say sth. |
davbravo:The method they want to use to admit candidates should have been communicated alongside with the sales of form advert. Unilag management sometimes should learn at least when oau brought out its own form it says 70%-30% I.e 70 for utme 30 for o levels. This is why some people have this feeling that unilag admission is mostly about runs, when the communication team of the school will not do the needful even though at least 70% of admission in unilag isn't based on who u know. |
We should not attach a single importance to webometric ranking. I look forward to ranking of Nigerian universities by NUC based on innovations and breakthrough in research. We are not even in top 10 self. UI, OAU, Unilag, Abu, Unn, uniben make Una wake up from Una slumber. Shame on all of the above skuls. |
Lautech admission screening which will close on the 3rd of August. http://www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng/ |
At first candidates were happy about the scrapping of the post utme but right now it seems that is no longer the case. Candidates are no longer sure of the model that will be used anylonger, they have started smelling foul play by university administrator before they start issuing admission. In the long run this might turn out to be a good policy but as it is right now, different school are just adopting different policy as oppose having a uniform policy. Did ou think scrapping of post utme was a good thing and do you now think scrapping of post utme is a good thing. Lemme rephrase, were u happy when post utme was first scrapped and are you happy now? http://afritalks.com/threads/nigeria-admission-wahala.1330/ |
One idio*t is looking for attention by dissing my city. I will not quote him so as not to dignfy his post. If you want to listen to stations whose OAP make use of local assent, lagelu FM dey dere for u and many other self. |
Dunno how true this is http://afritalks.com/threads/unilag-proposed-screening-format-2016-utme-admission.1323/ |
Now that the form is out, let's hope we are favored and pray it is as transparent as possible. BTW who has any idea if unilorin screening form is out. |
FuckMynd44:First OAU isn't a glorified secondary school but I suppose they adopt jamb policy because Prof Dibu was drafted from there, so he must have source for their input in coming up with the decision. By and large Jamb should just get his act right |
hungryboy:With our existing law, we will hardly be able to prosecute a single one of them. The best option for now is plea bargain until we are able to review anti graft law for speedy completion of trials. |
Mhe2sa:how far hope u have been posted |
