Once the anambra election should hold. it will deflate kanu's gragra. Anambra election will determine if biafra have come to stay or not.

Lemme start with this, its insulting to call someone a rookie, we are all not in our first year.

Your aggregate is 75 point. so u have a bigger and better chance to gain admission into any course in faculty of bus administration, unilag. From accounting to insurance just take your pick.

I calculated your aggregate using biology in lieu of commerce. commerce may though be accepted.

Good! Get out of their land and hand over your oil wells. Then you can run your beautiful country with sand. I am sure you have got a lot of it up there in the North.

You see ehn. its good to have sense. Once biafra is formed, the resources of the east automatically will be under the control of biafra. They cannot return oil well nah, but you can tax them to death. Better still property exchange can take place.

We expect Arewa Youth to back their words with action.

We Died In 1966, We Won't Die In 2017

By Elochukwu Nicholas Ohagi

Just after that first coup. I mean that Nigeria coup led by Kaduna Nzeogwu in collaboration with many other soldiers from other ethnic groups and tribes, came the counter coup led by Northern officers who branded the first coup Igbo coup.

They killed the head of state in the person of Aguiyi Ironsi. Ironsi was killed in the most barbaric way by those barbarians. They tied him on a military jeep and had him dragged along the road until he died. Ironsi is an Igbo man. Those barbarians which has the current Nigeria civilian president as one of them gathered Igbo and other Eastern soldiers together, disarmed them and had them killed. Same happened in the police, And other organizations. These killings didn't quench their taste for blood. They headed to the airports and shot everyone they met in that airport that is from Eastern Nigeria.

Did they stop? No they didn't. Their people joined them. Civilians joined in the killing. Owing to the number of Igbos and other Easterners killed in the North, it won't be a mistake to say that 85% of northerners in 1966 were all murderers. When I say Northerners I mean both core North and middle belt. They marched out and killed every Igbo man and everybody that looked like Igbo in the entire North. Gowon who took over as a military head watched as more than 700,000 Easterners were horrendously butchered to death.

So my dear Igbos currently in the north, this was how it happened. I knew you never had opportunity with history. I was lucky, I did history for 6years. So am telling no fairytales. Don't say you are not in the North, that you are in the Middle Belt. Don't just commit suicide brothers. These people were Christians in 1966 when they stopped Igbos in Benue Bridge returning from core North and massacred them all. Sad, yes, but its true. They were still Christians today when Arewa youths threatened to kill Igbos and take their properties in all the 19 northern states and they kept quiet.

This people are not Oba of Lagos or Yorubas who joked with throwing us into the lagoon if we vote against the candidates they wanted in Lagos. Brothers these people are ruthless, evil, and barbaric. They are terror minded people. A people that can kill 800 of their own in a night can do worse and there will be no world outcry. Remember, Nigeria life doesn't matter to UN as far as their illegal businesses are going on. And they will always support the North because they are the reason they are still in business.

Start now to prepare. See whoever that is telling you to continue going about your business in the North as the enemy. The South Eastern governors that failed to defend you against Fulani herdsmen in Biafra Land can't be assuring you of safety in a faraway land like Kano. Think brothers, think.

I know relocating won't be easy, but life is the best. Will you rather die?

Start proper documentation of your properties. Send other things home. Bring back children. We have enough schools here. Those in higher institutions should start making move for proper transfer. Are you an Igbo corp member reading me right now, and you are presently in the orientation camp anywhere in the North, please start relocation arraignment before Monday you will be leaving camp.

We died in 1966, we won't die in 2017.

A word is enough for the wise.

You are very biased in your history.

The coup was headed by nzeogwu, he killed the prime minister and northen premiere, he also killed Akintola the western premiere while leaving the eastern premier in person of Zik.

secondly ironsi became head of state and kaduna nzeogwu was captured. Ironsi should have court marshalled Kaduna NZEOGWU for committing treason but instead he kept protecting him for 6 month before he was killed at ibadan. Remember Adekunle Fajuyi died because he was protecting Ironsi.

lastly even during civil war when biafran soldier had the upper hand. instead of taking the fight to norrh, they were marching down to Lagos to catch them unawares as oppose marching to the north where igbos were massacred.

Stop being bias in dishing out stories.

So the above is a response to 'leave yoruba out this matter'. Now who is being irrational? who has comprehension problem?. am sure you know the answer. Biafra is almost becoming a reality, some igbos are now developing cold feet.

I have just gotten 305 in this year's UTME again but I dread wasting it like last year's.

I need medicine admission. Kindly suggest federal or affordable state universities where my chances of admission is pretty high with the available grades and scores.

Again if you are someone or know someone or know someone that knows someone who can help. Kindly prevent this long conceived dream from dieing.
Thanks.

I dunno about now. but at University of Ibadan, change of course then was even easy to medicine once you have a perfect 7.0 cgpa or say 6.8. The school has the capacity to admit 200 into medicine and it gave room for both DE and COC students. Change your course to chemistry and get a perfect cgpa and you later change

Hi bro

I scored 202 in this year's jamb....

My choice of course is mass communication and my total aggregate score (plus O'LEVEL) is 64.25 (which I know is too low for mass communication)

So, I've made up my mind to Change my course to either POLITICAL SCIENCE OR SOCIOLOGY OR ANY OTHER COURSE(based on your advice)

USING LAST YEAR'S CUT OFF MARKS AS A CASE STUDY WHICH COURSE SHOULD I CHANGE TO?

All you need to do is to download last year cut off mark of unilag and probably othee schools like oau. check their last year cut off mark and make informed decision.

Education / Re: JAMB 2017: Oloyede Made Everyone Look Brilliant by ibadanfinest(m): 12:56pm On May 19, 2017
tdayof:
Getting admitted as a science student will be very competitive this year except the candidate has a good O'level result.

I have seen alot of students with 280-330. Most universities divide Jamb by 8 which means 320/8=40 points. However, most students do not have a strong o'level. Most of the candidates O'LEVEL points will fall into 30 with few having 30-40 points.

This means 40+30=70 points. You should also know most of these guys got less than 320 in jamb. Most are withing the range of 280-304 . So 304/8= 38 points. With total being 68.

What I'm trying to say is most of the science students results are of high score and at the same time this is a big hinderance for them to secure admission as most of them already have a weak waec result. The jamb only compliments their waec which is an advantage to boost their aggregate.

The big issue now is admission. Last year UI medicine and surgery was 71 points with around 170 students to be admitted.. Over 3,000 applicants applied to study at UI and a minimum of 350 applied to study medicine and surgery. Out of the 350, 100 won't meet the cutoff and the remaining students amount to 250.

Now 250 students made the cut or but only 170 are to be admitted. 100 as merit and 70 as cachement. Now the student best bet is to be among the top 100..

Cut off is 71 and a student has 73 while 60 students have 73.4-75 while the rest have 75-75. Now this is what no one likes.

Advice, calculate your aggregate and be sure you're meeting up with cut off or probably apply for change or course to a course where you can cross back to your preferred course

Thank You.

Bros over 11000 students applied to study meducine at UI for just say less than 200 slots. Adjust your statistics
