if this is true, then it's a shame. On their home front (anywhere in the north) , this marauder oppress the south , they still bring the fight to us down south, and we do nothing but bicker online, then it is a real shame.

I won't be surprised to see my yoruba brothers laughing at this incident. There is an urgent need for the south to unite against this evil. Can't we see, this fulani marauders are thriving on our silence and disunity.

Bros stop spewing trash here. There is a Yoruba adage that says ' ki a maja ko kin se bi kaku' meaning we may have issues with Igbo but we don't wish them death at all.

I will advise the community protect themselves and most importantly fish out the traitor amongst them. Someone must be feeding this people with information.

The price of palm oil has skyrocketed locally.

Even if you invest immediately, it will still take years to grow a palm tree. While waiting for the palm tree to mature and start fruiting.
Will producers of oil based products like soap fold their hands and wait?

All these sudden changes and inconsistent Forex policy is killing businesses.

Imagine a company depending on oil and cannot do a backward linkage of a thing. The likes of Pz cusson that depend on palm oil should by now have a plantation. Even chivita has a farm on Lagos/ibadan express way.

The pblm isn't just the govt jare, we self follow join. Buhari though hasn't perform as expected

and you think you can source all the materials needed for manufacturing locally? if you don't create a good avenue for manufacturers time will come when some essential products in this country will go into extinction

Sometimes I find it difficult not to insult. The govt did not ban all raw materials. The govt banned those raw material that can be produced locally. I don't have to go to skul to know that

Please go and read your Economics and check why we have Internatioonal trade, country maximise her strength on what she has comparative advantage and import what she does not have. Please tell me our advantage sir?

You are giving it a wrong interpretation sir. Yes every country should specialize on the goods he has the least opportunity cost. This means you get to produce it locally, source for your raw material locally.
What international trade advocates is for exchange of finished goods not exchange of raw materials.

Buhari has disappointed his biggest fan so far but we are also part of the problem. how can we be importing palm oil. These are things we have capacity to be exporting.
Buhari though is a pblm but he isn't the only one. Imagine we are importing red oil. nawa o

Kudos to those who have been helping. I guess what some peeps are saying here is that we should try and ensure that those who really need help are those that are being helped.

How about a nairaland foundation group where people donate and that money will be used to help the needy in the society. Though still a student but can afford 1k. Some peeps can afford a lot though.

Which state in SS are you in, is only few yolobas that are into taxi business are in PH, in Onitsha few of them living there are into sewing business and traditional medicine.Na only UK una dey go, US and Canada have more of Igbos. It is well known that your people don't like to travel, NYSC is what is taken most of SW youth to other part of Nigeria. In SS is it Bayelsa,Delta,Rivers and C.Rivers,Akwa Ibom that you will see Yorubas is large numbers as Hausas and Igbo are seen in large numbers in all state of Nigeria. In most part of SE they have places they call ama Hausa likewise in the north they places they called sabo ngeri for Igbos, which part of Nigeria have a place reserve for Yorubas and if SE is not accommodating why is it that they have hausas in large numbers in SE.

You have been to all the state u mentioned. If I slap u ehn. I can tell u authoritatively that Kaduna and Jos have huge number of yorubas more than Igbo same with UK, us and Canada.
The few you are seeing at Nnewi and Aba are truly tailors mostly but check out banks in Warri PH and see Yoruba full there. Don't forget Medicine, accounting and law is our profession.

This guy Igbos are always a nightmare to you. You go kpeme ooo ontop of Igbo people matter, you want one Nigeria and you don't want the Igbos to live freely in any part of one Nigeria. Your people dont like to travel and explore for opportunities, why always envy those who have the zeal to explore the world.

We are not only in the east because you guys are not accommodating. you will find us in ss, north and we have the the largest Nigeria population in US, UK and Canada

Let's agree Lagos will lose some bizness to some state. Do you think this will have a huge effect on Lagos. Am sure many also predicted decline in the growth of Lagos after fct was taken to abuja.

Because the revenue it derives from there will reduce drastically, because a lot of the importers are easterns,
Which state will want it's internally generated revenue t
drop.

Hmmm, you are not intelligent at all. You mean chinedu will prefer to import thru calabar and later transport it back to Lagos where the market is because he is from the east.

By the way is calabar in the east and do they speak same languge with the ibos

Since it was built back then, am sure the structure will still be solid. All that needs to be done is small inner work, change the roof and paint it.

You will be surprised. But like someone observed; its outside the skul gate but thats not enough reason to abandon it. It can though be privatized.

NFF is cursed. The first news was that they were held up in their hotel because of some officials that were not suppose to be in their hotel.
Now is dat they have not been paid allowance and the coach has not been paid for five Month and if it were a foreign coach, they won't owe him a day salary.

NFF is cursed. These has been happening over time and it need to stop.
