I fly regularly and i am still afraid of flying after many years but i still fly.

For me its the fear of heights so i avoid window seats by all means possible and people are all to glad to exchange seats with me if necessary. I keep my mind off the journey by watching movies and listening to songs using the inflight entertainment system, trust me fear does not allow me sleep even on 20hour flights. I just want you to know that you will be fine and your fears a not abnormal.

Also note that turbulence does not bring down a plane, that is a fact of science you can research that ,so the habit of people screaming and calling on God, Jesus and the Holy spirit during turbulence is quite hilarious because its just like pot holes for a car driving on a bad road so the clouds are kind of bumping the plane, please stay relaxed and follow the inflight safety measures during turbulence. The most crucial part of any journey is take off and landing that's where the most flight risk is (all things being equal).

Air travel is relatively one of the safest way to travel so safe trip and pray for added comfort.

Ok let me answer you. Canada has a pathway for students to become permanent residents (PR) and later citizens.

The catch is that you must actually get admission to study and subsequently get a work permit that will enable you gather canadian work experience required to apply for PR.

You need admission and funds to pay fees .

Hello,

Please ensure the PG programme you are doing is in line with your current job or past study as you will need to explain that to convince the visa officer.

Also universities offer PG programmes you can also consider them too.

There are a number of 3rd party sites you can get admission and one of them is applyboard.com ,another is cuac.ca.

Application cost money so I advise the party with the strongest chance of getting approved should apply and yes the entire family can go just ensure funds and strong home ties are put in place.

You can also mail the school's admission office if you are having challenges because a good number have admission reps that will follow up with you and render assistance.

Hello ,

You can include the title documents and pictures and if you have money to spare you can do a proper valuation using an authorised agent.

Note assets are not proof of funds so I will advise just the title and pictures.

I will advise you pursue a post graduate programme simply because a Bsc is going to cost you so much ,minimum $ cad 100k for 4 years. I am also very sure you are a mature student.

You may have a hard time convincing the visa officer why you are investing so much for a degree at that age and you may have to require a very large amount as POF and also show how the degree will be useful to you on your return.
Also your study gap will have to be explained too.

I'm an HND in Marketing graduate and I applied for Bachelor's in Canada in which have gotten my acceptance letter and documents for Bachelor's using just my WAEC results. Now at the visa stage is it advisable to quote my HND and NYSC related documents to show progression of my studies so the visa officer won't think I have no progression after High school and never future more. Cos one of the things I read while submitting visa application is that the VO looks at progression in studies and how long you've been out of studies for.
Please what's your advice?

Find a way to move the file to your phone via USB cable. Open the documents and screen shot each one. Go to gallery and edit the screen shot to about 60 to 80 % after that merge and it should be smaller. NOTE the portal takes jpeg so no need to convert again

Hi Everyone, Please I am trying to submit my application but I am having trouble compressing my file to 4mb. Trust me I have used all kinds including ilovepdf, smallpdf, adobe, etc I have even been paying for latest versions of compressors online, yet it gets to a point where it says “ your file can no longer be compressed or reduced “

I am afraid because upon the file is not even close to 4mb , it’s already becoming invisible. I don’t want to be denied due to unclear documents. ( yes, this happened to my friend, his GCMS note read; bank statement not clear)

I intend to just upload my files separately; that’s submitting on the proof of fun section, I will then put some documents too on the FORM IMM5257 space ( I didn’t fill it, since it’s optional), and then the rest of my forms sent via webform immediately I pay and submit my application.

My brothers and sisters, is this a good step? Any better option? Has this worked for someone on this group? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can do it on your own , but if you must use an agent sigh agreement that account will be shared with you .That is you must have access to the portal.

Hello,

For the POF ( please others can contribute) its best in a regular account because you will not get a statement of account for it and a statement of account is what canada visa requires.
I recommend pre- liquidating now to start building the account for about six months and you need to apply for fall 2023 as early as Feb 2023.

Your land is good as home ties but also include family.

No application is the same so you have to also do your research and have a very good statement of purpose ( SOP) which is ore like your off line interview where you will answer all the likely questions the visa officer will ask in a letter format

Talking about the Proof of fund in a fixed Deposit Account . Based on signed agreement between me and the bank, The maturity period will be in February 2023 then it will be Iiquidated . The fixed deposit Account is in my Name and has my Information, it's actually an amount of money that I kept for my Canada Study Journey.

You said something about me liquidating the supposed money in the FD and keeping it for at least 4 months to avoid issues with lump sum . Now my situation is like this , I plan on applying for admission Now →→ for the Fall Entry 2023. Also Later in February next year 2023 the Fixed Deposit Agreement will be complete and Account open for access of the funds , Can I Just go ahead and just use the Account (Statement of Account) since it's in my name instead of moving the funds Around ?

Talking about the Home ties , I made mention of me having some landed Properties in my name worth around 8-10m which said I was on the right track. Hi,
For POF for canada the funds need to be in an account readily available to you not FD. So I will advise you liquidate in an account and work towards keeping it for at least 4 months to avoid issues with lump sum also remember to use Mybankstatement (MBS) which is an electronic bank statement sent directly to the embassy when applying.

Also you are on track with the home ties, you can also add family and try to get photos and ID documents to show relationship when applying and your business should be included that is very important as you need to state that the proposed study will be useful to you on your return. This Canada people own is that even if they know you will not come back but they want you to show strong evidence that you are going to study a course that you will add value to you on your return back after your studies.

Hi,

Studying for 1 year will give you only 1 year PGWP and it may not be enough to process PR in future. Except you plan on returning back home after your studies a 2 year programme is advised to secure 3 years PGWP which gives enough time to gather 1 year canadian work experience and pursue PR.

Google is your friend and just typing these questions there will provide you with a lot of answers too.

Hi,

I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge but others can please contribute and correct me if I am wrong.

1) You need your transcript to apply period. Find a way to reach out to the school to send a copy to you (unofficial copy).

2) You need to apply now as you need between 1 to 6 months or even more to secure admission and try to apply to more than 1 school. Visa processing also takes between 20 days (for NSE) and at least 3 months for normal processing. We have seen applications extending beyond 3 months to 12 months max.

3) start with applyboard.com go to students tab and search, ensure your choice of course matches your bsc and pursue a masters if your GPA is above 70% (2.2).

Also begin to work on your POF ( proof of funds) and home ties being a young single guy.

Google masters in canada and a lot of options will come up, bottom line do your research and you can drop your telegram user name( not your phone number o) so you can be added to a canada study group.

2. At this point since I'm rooting to be part of the September 2023 intake , Does that mean I can Start applying to various schools now ? I thought Oh if anyone is applying right now to schools then it should be because they want to be part of the January intake that means I have to wait but I'm wrong , because seeing how people waited for months and months to get their Visa approved and etc , it obviously show they started preparing even a year before . Does that mean I can start applying to schools Now to be part of their September 2023 intake ?

3.If my Number 2 answer is Yes , Please can you guide me on how to go about my Application and how to know schools that are open to September 2023 ?

4. Please does my Undergraduate course has to be related to the course I intend studying for my Master's in Canada ? Because I have been to a lot of these school site and I see things like one's choice of picking a graduate course should relate to one's undergraduate course , or probably I read that wrongly

You can travel alone or with your kids but going with the kids will require proving very strong home ties ( family ,business,assets etc) but that will be much later after you have processed your school admission which takes an average of 1 to 6 months depending on the school.

I will advise a course either related to Economics or Business and masters level or post graduate certificate depending on your GPA .

The first thing you need is an unofficial copy of your transcript to apply for any admission so go about that first.

You will also need to decide on the course and province you want to go to while preparing your funds to show financial capability. It is best not to use a company account as proof of funds and remember to explain that funds wil be generated by the company while you are away so someone has to be managing it.

You can also get a sponsor for your studies just remember to establish a strong relationship to justify a 3rd party investing that kind of money on you .

Age does not mean as you can study at any age just explain your study gap and your CV can do justice to that.

Also for those looking to use an agent there is nothing wrong with that but ENSURE YOU HAVE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT TO SHARE LOGIN DETAILS. Also do a retainer agreement where the services to be rendered will be outlined and access to the portal confirmed.This is the only way to avoid stories that touch and any agent who refuses this request please run

The first thing I believe you need to do is identify what you will use to establish strong home ties. I say this because I do not want you to process your application with the mind of relocating rather it should be that what you are going to study should add value to you or your career when you return.

Even if they know people want to japa you still have to prove that you will return home.

You can process it your self and I say this because in my opinion I think matured applicants should be 100% involved in their application as no one will better tell your story than you .

Do your research and choose a course that aligns with your current job, previous studies or future career plans .

Let me be clearer:
I have never applied to Canada and so i do not have any rejections. I was only saying I have started the process thrice (gathering info, writing ielts, applying and receiving admission) but I never got to the stage of applying. Emphasizing that I have been wasting time and now decided this is the last time.

I have worked for almost 20 years in finance - mainly investment banking and I am now a VP. I have an MBA almost complete from the UK - online). Also ICAN and CFA L1 (L2 hopefully in September)

i have a valid UK and US visa on my passports with some travel history

I just started a business in the wellness industry this year

I am a divorced mother of an 18 year old son. He is in Year 2 in University.

I want to relocate to Canada alone and get my son to join me after he graduates.

I am apply to colleges for courses in wellness (because of the new business) or Project Management and Analytics (I was just moved to the Fintech arm of my company and this is relevant now).

I need advise on :
1) viability of my choice of courses
2) How to apply for my son
3) Should i use an immigration lawyer?

My country people, how una Dey, Today makes it exactly 1 year I pack my load and landed in Montreal Canada, it has been a long and fun ride!
Also last week I got my one yea visa extended from here and it took just 3 weeks to get approved and sent to me!

Part of me exploring the city (all work and no play naim turn shekau to militant)
I went in a Baecation (una sabi say I don get Canadian babe, e no Dey hard me) ha ha ha

I went to Niagara Falls Toronto!

Please note that Qlife or IOM do not send results to applicants, they send your full results straight to IRCC..

What they only give applicants is the E-medical sheet which contains like a summary of your results.. So do not wait for a feedback of your test results, what you should be waiting for is an update of your Medicals on your IRCC portal and most importantly, your final Decision..

It shall end in praise..
