about estonian consolate in ghana i called them just now one man pick the call, and said i should send, email and attarch all the ducment i have, for admision and then ask my question, But before then i got a reply from estonia police bodder and immigration saying that i can not aply my rp in ghana since what they have there is only honorary consolate. the only embassy in africa is in cairo

If i'm understanding you very well - complete the filling of the forms and upload a copy of your passport photo, it should give you a confirmation number which starts with NGA***** at that point you can choose a date.

If it says date is not available, you will have to continue to try and get a date by clicking on print registered application from the homepage tabs, select Lagos and put in the NGA**** number and other infos, then select get appointment but i believe after about a week, you wont be able to look for a date again.

@ jane, my route is complicated. I will try Egypt next week and if they misbehave, I will go for Italy. Csfrost, i dnt have italia visa already o. But might be my last resort. I think with 1.5m they should give me, though na luck. But all this would greatly be determined by outcome of my finland admission by april 30th.

is it for Egypt visa or estonia RP?. If it is Egypt visa its our own account with Enough cash if you are doing it by your self. For Estonia RP application you can use sponsor.

The problem with ur Egypt application wasn't denial but they refused to collect application from everyone on that day. Had been u live in Abuja, u would have submit it days after that.

I received my acceptance latter from Tallinn University since March 18. since that time nah visa things I dey hustle, I contacted Egyptian embassy they gave me all the requirements, I gather all and travel from lagos to abuja yet no show, you need to see how they are treating people like goat, I feel ashamed of this country, ordinary egypt. After that I called estonia consular in Tbilisi Georgia, they ask me to forward my acceptance latter which I did, and they ask me to apply for new Georgia E visa, which is very fast and simple you can get it right from your home and pay online or upon arrival. But as I was going through they visa policy I found out that they list Nigeria with Liberia, Sormalia Chad and 5 others as counties to provide a Valid shengem visa before applying for the e visa. Omo na so I take weak. This country get big wahalah I sware, any body that is proud Nigeria must be joking. But any how God dey. For Estoina? I don enter finish.

it depends, for Estonia you have to pay tuition fee. I think at Tallinn university of technology they have one program with free tuition. There is scholarship and student allowance to assist you in Tallinn university. But for free tuition I think its in Finland Norway Etc which is very difficult to process as undergraduate. As a student what you need to come to. estonia is RP not Visa, in fact don't border your self, ones you have received your acceptance latter they will tell you the next step to follow, the will first list all the country were you will apply for your RP, like in my case the sch is contacting me to know my procedures.

There are three possible way to come to Estonia from Nigeria as regards to studies

THROUGH BELGIUM EMBASSY NIGERIA
you submit application through belgium embassy. there is option for students who can come to Estonia through belgium embassy Nigeria. For this to actually work out for you, that means you school should be aware of this process. Infact your school must contact the Estonia Police and Boarder Guard. And the police and boarder guard will contact the belgium embassy. This process takes time and its quite complicated but the cheapest means. Infact i only know one person from Nigeria that came to Estonia through this process

THROUGH EGYPT
When u get to Egypt, its possible to apply for Temporal Residence Permit from Estonian Consulate in Cairo. This takes more than a Month from the time u get to cairo. And if you are coming for bachelors program, then the visa and trp application is quite more compelx

THROUGH INDIA
when u get to Delhi, the process is straight forward and simple. You will be issued Schengen Visa 3 to 6 months.

there are no particular country to get to estonia as student, ones you get to any country that has estonia embassy you already in estonia, one I know travel to UK to estonia the other one went to Georgia from there to estonia, when I received my acceptance latter they listed all the country they have embassy, and egypt is the only one in africa, going all the way to India is not economical. I have called all those countries except tunisia, but they all said no. And to get it in southafrica, u must hv their rp . Thats why we are left with only Egypt nd India, especially 4degree seeking candidates.

Just wondering. Is it a must to apply for Estonian visa at Egypt? The reason i asked is because:
this page: http://www.studyinestonia.ee/visa-and-residence-permit said Students who are third country nationals (not EU citizens) have to apply for a temporary residence permit for study at the nearest Estonian Embassy or Consul in their home country or country of residence.
And looking at this page: http://www.embassypages.com/estonia it lists other countries in Africa with Estonia Consulate (morocco, Angola, Kenya, South africa, Ghana and Tunisia and Kenya uses visa on arrival while ghana is visa free.
The only African country listed to have Estonian Embassy is Egypt.

I stand to be corrected though....

Just want to know if this process can be simplified. I will be making a couple of calls in the next few days and will share what i find. I reside in US so time differences will affect making the calls, if any1 finds any more info, please share.

please the only estonia and embassy and foreign representative in Africa is in Egypt that is the nearest place they directed when I received my acceptance latter, they told me that estonia RP can obtain only at their embassies. So its only egypt or travel to any EU country or Asia
