There wont be any prosecution because the casefile will be sent to DPP Edo state for Legal Advise and it's now the prerogative of Attorney general of Edo State either to file the charge or not. Even, if the police decide to arraign the arrested persons in the court, the Attorney General has the right to withdraw the charge against them.

It happened to me when I was in the secondary school back then, we had a tree beside our classroom where we do take shelter from sun. In that fateful day, I was under the tree unknown to me that there was that type of that snake directly above me. It was by sheer luck that it didn't bite me until a classmate sighted it from far and raised alarm that drew my attention after some minutes of dribbling, it was killed .

Imagine me losing my practicing License because of how much?
I just need a side hustle no matter how small.

I couldn't finish watching the video, the actions of those officers seems personal. Its as if the officer interviewing the lady already knew about her past relationship.
This matter should not be swept under the carpet and officers should be barred from releasing videos of arrests to the media without proper vetting from the police legal unit.

you are seeking for a good advice from a wrong place. Many if not all here have not done what you are seeking advice on, they lack experience and understanding of what is at hand. I will advise you ask within the police if anybody knows a former police officer who was in similar conditions as yours and quit the police service to be on his own and is currently doing well. Locate that person and ask how he did it, learn from him and you will fine your bearing. Seek advice from those who have done it .

you are very correct. Many policemen are doing well after quitting police jobs but fear of UNKNOWN always glued people to their uncomfortable position. It's a very easy decision for someone who has relatively small family (wife and husband) alone.

I understand your predicaments but what you need to do is to do a professional course such as Law, becoming a lawyer will definitely put smiles on your lips and assist your immediate and extended family. As for the police promotion FORGET it !!!. The way things is going on , the present constables and Corporal may not get to the rank of inspector before retirement because of the large volume of Graduaate turnout from Police University. You need not be told that promotion in the police is based on vacancy and not your RIGHT, hence , use what you have to get what you want. Use the police to achieve a stable lifetime opportunity. Those buildings are meant to house and churn out educated and reformed children.

Congrats to Zulum but the main task ahead is the filling up of those buildings with kids and qualified staff.
If after commissioning those buildings and the streets of Maiduguri is still filled with children begging with bowls then the aim of buildings those schools and energy expended would’ve been wasted.
