The guy on the left just paid $35.5 million (approx. 49.7 billion naira) for that white car in the background. That's a Ferrari 250 GTO. The popular, bestselling Toyota Highlander is headed towards electric propulsion. I'm really surprised that Toyota is going all in, not even a detour in the hybrid and plug-in hybrid stops. Instead, the 2027 Highlander has just been announced as an all-electric SUV. Danm. We'll see how that works out for the nameplate in the US, which is its biggest market.

The Nigerian market is why I started the title of this post with "Oh shit." But there's probably no much cause for alarm.
