(IN THE HOUSE)
A man came back from work and met his wife making love to another man on their matrimonial bed, without shouting or beating any of them he went to the sitting room, switched on the television and sat quietly listening to news.
A few minutes later, the man got dressed, came to the sitting room and said to the husband 'am sorry', but before he could say any more words, the husband said 'don't worry, stuff like this happen', and the man left, but the wife did not come out of the room.
Tired of watching the television, the husband switched off the TV, went into the room, met the wife crying, without saying a word to her or asking about the incident, he went straight to bed and slept.
By morning, the husband woke up and saw the lifeless body of the wife. She committed suicide while he was sleeping. The husband was arrested and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for murder.

Some people think that having many partners is good, fun and gainful. They think that one that has many lovers never gets hurt, stressed, disappointed and broken hearted since s/he has many partners around to lean on. But that’s not true at all. Having many partners is a waste of time, money, energy and it puts your life at risks. It stresses and it always puts you on panic.

MEN: Think of the situation where you’ve got many girls that you are pushing out with, You have to cater for them, you need to take them out on dates, when it comes to special days like birthdays, valentine, Christmas… you have to shower them with presents. If some of the girls are students maybe at a certain university; you need to raise at least half or a quarter of the tuition that’s if she’s an orphan or not. You need to provide at least half of the money for accommodation and her necessities but remember you aren’t the only guy doing this for her. You need to meet all these girls on a daily basis; you have to show them that you love them in any possible way. You have to always be with new lies to tell them and you have to be very careful so that you don’t repeat the old lies. When it comes to calling them; you have to contact them all and in case one finds your phone busy for long hours, you have to be questioned who the caller was. You have to take them shopping on different days and spend like a son of a billionaire…

WOMEN: Think of a scenario where you have got many men you’re dating. You got to meet them all. You have to be deleting messages all the time. You have to be with sensible lies to tell all these guys so that you drain something out of them. You have to show your body almost to all these guys who even won’t settle down with you and they have no intention of marrying you. Think of kissing every guy’s lips… think of the sleepless nights you’ll be having since you’ll be yapping on phone with these guys in different intervals. Think of the daily panic you’ll be encountering since you don’t want these guys to get to know each other. Think of playing sex with all these guys just with need of getting something out of them and with a need of proving to some of them that you love them and you appreciate what they do for you…
Now, If God is on your side, you can succeed in playing all those games with those innocent hearts and you don’t get caught but do you think God can be happy with all your deeds? If you’re not lucky enough, things can screw up and you end up being dumped like a used toilet paper. And in most cases the one that you loved most is the one who hates you the more and that hurts so much. Now you’ll be left alone with a broken heart. You’ll start thinking of the years you wasted, the serious people you took for granted, the money you spent like a fool which you would have used to do something productive and the energy you wasted on people who used you. Think of your lost dignity, think of the ugly names that people will start calling you and think of the diseases you’ll acquire.
My dear nairalanders, if you’re a victim of this, stop it immediately and settle down with one person who will love you for what you’re not for what you have or what you have to offer. Stick with one person who won’t love you for fun or to pass time with you. I know some people say that “How will I know that so and so is serious with me and isn’t gonna love me for fun?” But there isn’t any special way to identify such a person but all what you have to do is to commit that one person you have in God’s hands and He’ll shape him/her in the right way for you.

I have read many comments from Nigerians on the forthcoming general election and on the abilities of the two Presidential Candidates to take our dear country to the next level of development.
I have heard people saying that President Jonathan has not really lived up to expectation, but General Buhari is not a better option either. I became confused and I try to see why many say General Buhari is not better.
I might be young when Buhari was Nigeria head of state but I learnt that he did perform well. I learnt that he quenched the ravaging corruption in the country then. Buhari and his team introduced War Against Indiscipline. He improved our debt profile and also made a landmark in Nigeria's economy.
I also heard of his violation of human right and freedom of speech. Though I am still gathering my facts on these negative comments of his administration.
President Jonathan is our current President. His tenure has come under criticism ranging from corruption and insecurity. These vices keep setting us backward as a nation and reasons why most people are calling for change.
For those who witnessed the regimes of General Buhari and President Jonathan, could you please let me know why people are saying that though they need a change but General Buhari may not be the change we deserve. What change do we desire? Who do you think is the best Nigerian for the job and what are your reasons?

FACTS AS CLEARLY KNOWN TO EVERY REASONABLE
(Which are very much) NOT UNREASONABLE (Very
few Ebina) IN THE STATE:
1. Buhari actually took over power from Shagari
because his administration was very corrupt. It was
full of financially mismanagement and corruption.
2. When Buhari was in power, many corrupt
politicians were arrested and sent to jail for their
financial crimes. Infact people with questionable
wealth were unable to show it off for fear of being
arrested like we have today.
3. He introduced war against indiscipline. Students
were in their classrooms, workers dare not come to
work late, people were not allowed to litter the
streets with dirts, etc.
4. He introduced the famous environmental
sanitation that we have today.
5. We have no external debt during buhari, infact
he paid all our debts to zero.
6. Inflation came down from 23% percent to 5%
during the time of Buhari.
7. Our naira was so strong and it could compete
internationallywith pounds and dollars.
8. He built 3 refineries in Kaduna, Warri and
Portharcourt.
9. He created 20 oil depots when he was in PDTF.
10. Under PDTF, he constructed more roads than
the Nigerian government in the past 15 years.
11. While under PDTF, he supplied text books to
schools and drugs to hospitals.
12. He was the first Head of State to allow women
in his administration.He even discovered Dora
Akinyuli.
13. He has no foreign account or houses abroad.
14. He has just 2 houses, one in Kaduna and one in
his home town.
15. He was never convicted of any financial crime
and when he was in PDTF, he never collected any
salary because he was already collecting his
pension.
16. He stood against IMF and the World Bank when
he was asked to devaluate the naira. This was
because naira could be spent abroad and also
competing with dollar and that coming from an
African nation, he was hated by the west.
17. Concerning religion, his cook and driver are
Christians. So what more do u need to trust and
vote for this man except if you are seeing religion
and tribe.
Now for President Jonathan:
1. What did he achieve?
2. He painted the Airpots abi?
3. What about the history of corruption in his administration?
4. No single corrupt politician has been prosecuted during Jonathan.(No wonder dey donated 21billion for his campaign)
5. We have the case of the aviation minister, what happened? It was swept under the carpet.
6. What about the case of Faruq and Otedola swept under the carpet.
7. What about the police pension embezzlement? Swept under the carpet.
8. What about the 20billion dollar case? No public debate till date. Instead swept under the carpet.
9. He is first head of state to buy about 10 private jets and the first head of state to budget 1billion naira for food. What a record breaker.
10. He even diverted funds of 1million dollar meant for Bayelsa into entertainment. Remember the case of Beyonce? He claimed to have reduce poverty by 50% but analysts are saying its just 5%. Youths are unemployed, electricity is worse than ever. Infact, im typing this using generator. What more do you want? I can go on and on. The facts speak for itself.

SLEEPING HABITS: Let’s just start wit the most important minor 'SLEEP' Who is going to sleep on which side of the bed? What time is bed-time going to be? Will we always go to sleep tgether, or fall asleep at different times? And what should the temperature be? On the cooler side or warmer side? I can’t say these are things we covered in pre-marital counseling! But I’ve heard from a lot of couples who’ve had to work through these kind of things post-marriage. Because as we all know: Sleep is a really big deal, people!
2. Money Stuff: Spending habits, credit history, bills, etc.: What’s our budget going to look like? How much fun money do we get? Should we save or invest? How often can we afford to eat out? I think we all get that money issues are going to be a part of our relationship, but I don’t think we really understand how much of a topic of conversation it will actually be.
3. Household Duties: So….who does what? What if we both hate cleaning bathrooms? What if his mom always did his laundry? What if neither of us can cook? What if one of us is a neat freak? Who’s job is it to clean that gross clump of hair out of the shower (Or…maybe I’m the only one who sheds like a dog…?)What if he thinks that the majority of household chores are the “woman’s” job? What if my family split all the chores evenly but her family didn’t? What now? If you find yourself disagreeing about simple household duties, it’s time to sit down and make time for these “dirty” conversations.
4. Spiritual Temperament: This one totally caught me off guard when we got married. You see, I’m an external processor. I have to say things out loud in order to work through them. I like to share what I’m feeling, thinking, and experiencing- especially when it comes to my life with Jesus. My husband, on the other hand, is wired more internally. His spiritual life and experiences with God are reflected through his actions, rather than his words: his patience, his gentleness, his kindness, his self-control….etc. For the first two years of marriage, we had to figure this one out. How would we balance his internal wiring with my external wiring? How would we experience God together, but how much would we need to experience Him alone? I think we’ve finally figured out what that looks like in our marriage, but it’s something that has been crucial to the health of our relationship!
5. Social Preferences: A friend of mine told a funny story about how she was on her way home with a crew of friends, when her husband called to let her know: no thanks, not in the mood for people today; which made for an awkward post-phone call conversation with her friends. Where you fall on the introversion to extroversion scale is a really important thing to know and discuss in a marriage. When you become “one”- how will you handle your need for socialization or alone time?
6. Different Tastes: Taste in food, taste in movies and entertainment, taste in clothing, taste in style, taste in fashion…all of these little things are joined together in the wonderful world of marriage. Thankfully, in so many ways you end up “rubbing off on each other” in marriage (I’m officially a sushi-addict now, thanks to John!). But until then, do you know your unique differences in tastes, and how will you work through these differences when they come up in day to day life?
7. Emotional Temperament: My husband says one of the things that surprised him most when we got married, is how emotional I am (gee….thanks….)! But seriously, I have to laugh, because it’s so true. I don’t think I let the floodgates fully open on that one until we got married. But the truth is, I am an emotional person in every sense of the word! It even comes out in my writing, as I’ve been known to use WAY to many exclamation marks!!! My ups and downs are completely opposite to my husband’s almost constant mood. It’s something we’ve had to figure out and discuss, so that we can learn how to appreciate, understand, and respect, and respond to each other’s differences.
8. Lifestyle Differences: How much TV do you watch in a day? Or for that matter- how much football? Do you sit at the dinner table to eat, or on the couch? What’s your parenting style and how does that play out with your spouse’s parenting style? How much time do you invest in career, ministry, or family? Is vacation time for resting, or living it up? There are so many simple lifestyle decisions that come into play when you connect your life with another person. What are some topics that you might need to work through with your spouse?
9. Holidays: Oooooooh the holidays can be so joyful, and nostalgic, and…..STRESSFUL!!! It’s sad that that’s actually a true statement. But for many couples, it is! Where do you spend the holidays, and with who’s family? Do you go all out, or keep it simple? What family traditions do you pass down to your children (mine, or yours!), and when do you decide to make new traditions? How much time do you spend with extended
