Buhari sent the crowd of delegates and party members agog with his speech delivered in less than 10 minutes. He said, “I have always served Nigeria to the best of my ability. I have always tried to give more to the nation than it has given me. This is the principle of service that has guided my public life. Thus, I am not a rich person. I can’t give you a pocketful of dollars or naira to purchase your support. Even if I could, I would not do so. The fate of this nation is not up for sale. “What I will give you, and this nation is all of my strength, commitment, sweat and toil in the service of the people. What I can give you is my all. “I do not intend to rule Nigeria. I want to democratically govern it with your help. I seek a Nigeria where Christians and Muslims may practise their faiths in peace and security; a Nigeria that is just and where corruption no longer trespasses into our institutions and national behavior and a Nigeria where our diversity could be used for our national prosperity. “Nigeria is our home. Let us now turn it into the great nation we know it can and should be.” Buhari’s speech drew a loud ovation from the crowd. I wish you good luck If you want him say YES!

HER VIRGINITY You met and dated a girl when you were in the University, she was a virgin when you met her, and you both agreed not to have sex until your wedding night. The two of you became graduates but were jobless for 4yrs. However, after many years of suffering, she later secured a job for you in one big Company where you were paid close to N900,000 per month. Things were now going well with you and you finally proposed marriage to her, she accepted but after a few sec, tears began rolling down her cheeks. You asked her what the problem was and what you heard was... I'M SORRY LOVE, AM NO LONGER A VIRGIN, I GAVE MY VIRGINITY TO YOUR BOSS BEFORE HE ACCEPTED TO EMPLOY YOU IN THE COMPANY. THAT'S THE ONLY CONDITION HE GAVE ME IF YOU MUST BE EMPLOYED OR YOU WOULD CONTINUE TO REMAIN JOBLESS" Hmmm.... Assuming you were the guy, would you still go ahead with the wedding? And as a lady, can u do such for your love? As for me hell NO! And if i would then i will go give it to him(boyfriend) first before going to the boss. LET'S HEAR YOUR OPINION NAIRALANDERS.... |

Who is your best actor? As for me i like Odunlade Adekola BUT i so much love Yomi Fash Lanso in action. Odunlade Adekola He is tall with lots of action and one of the most popular Yoruba movie actors in the Nollywood Movie Industry. He has been in the Nigeria movie industry for some years now and has carved out a household name for himself. After surfacing in the Nigerian Yoruba movie industry some years ago,Odunlade Adekola has since become a household name, as the tall, handsome actor has won the hearts of many Yoruba movie watchers both in Nigeria and beyond. Yomi Fash Lanso He is writer, actor and producer. Yomi Fash Lanso has come a long way. Yomi Fash Lanso, no doubt has been able to carve a niche for himself as a thespian. Like many other actors in Nollywood, his name could be said to have become a house hold item.

These are the THIRTEEN (13) memorable quotes from Gov Ayodele Fayose's Inaugural speech during his inauguration yesterday: 1. "Everyone should observe a minute silence for All Progressives Congress. May their soul rest in perfect peace. They’ve departed our state forever". 2. "I am the Governor that eats Boli (roasted plantain) with you and drinks Abgo Jedi (local herbal drink) with you". 3. "You have successfully suported me in sending them(APC) back to their masters in Lagos. Not in our history again will they come back to our state". 4. "God said to me that I should say with my heart; that i should forgive Ekiti people for removing me in the first place. I declare peace, prosperity employment, progress and stomach infrastructure for the people of Ekiti". 5. "It is difficult for a man to get a second chance. I will banish hunger in your midst. I will work hard to put food on your table". 6. "I am going to appoint a special adviser for stomach infrastructure.Tarring your road is wonderful, but food in the stomach is important. Already, I am grooming your chickens for Christmas and I am getting your rice ready". 7. "Fayemi had the money and power, but he disconnected himself from the people. We have over 157 state accounts, and none of them has N1million in it". 8. "My government was seized in the jugular by the power mongering demagod. The ship of state drifted with neither compass nor navigator. You know them, they are always the first to paint a picture that is different from the truth in the media." 9. "The same margin I gave to Adebayo was the same I gave to Fayemi. The only difference is that Fayemi was defeated in the 16 local government areas. It was 16-0." 10. "To the Ekiti civil servants, this is new govt. You must support the new govt. Anyone that do politics will be sacked". 11. "The Head of Service, all Permanent Secretaries that are appointed after June 21, should give way". 12. "I am not going to recognise the newly created LCDAs. I am only going to share the state resources among the 16 LGAs recognised by the constitution. God catch them, they forgot to amend the law on boundary". 13. "That government house you are looking at, when we finish here, I am going to lead you there. You are going to sleep there tonight. Open all the rooms and sleep there" |
Nollywood Actress Clarion Chukwurah thinks its because of money entertainer are going into politics. In a new interview withPUNCH she described the rush, especially by Nollywood practitioners, to join partisan politics as sheer hypocrisy. According to her, some artistes want to go into politics because they are not getting much money from their vocations. She told Punch: The motive of those who are embracing partisan politics is purely monetary. Let us call a spade a spade. If you tell me that you want to go into politics to serve the people, I would want to look at your record first. I want to see what you have done to better the lives of the people in your immediate community. How many boreholes have you sunk in the community? How many hours of community service have you given for free over the last four or five years? How well are you known as somebody who yearns for improvement in social development?” http:// www.premiumgist. com/ clarion- chukwura h-says-nigerian -artistes-going -politics-money /
