It will differ on a case by case basis, depends on the couple.

She may not be expected to be the breadwinner but here are some standard things nowadays:
A working skill set, some form of credentials, culinary skills, her salary, attractiveness etc

Some couples are just fine and comfortable with the more extreme ‘traditional’ route but how many people actually have the bandwidth/flexibility to live on that dynamic? Not most average people

He may have some ‘uninformed’ views (don’t we all at a point) but he sounds harmless, plus at least it sounds like it comes from a place of love and concern.

Now the part where he’s adamant on sticking to his points, maybe it isn’t being explained to him properly/well? Maybe he actually has valid points? Lol. Or he could just be stubborn and irredeemably ignorant? Who knows

Lol, there was a day I was rushing off work and forgot to change into my everyday shoes....my workplace then was kinda in the outskirts of the town so I had to drive on the highway for a while. I just noticed I was driving past the few cars I met on the road and was getting crazy stares. Girls and guys (if that's what you're into), can you drive with heels, wedges etc? Is it something you're comfortable with?

I always have a spare pair of flats or trainers in my car in case I've got heels on, I can't do it myself but I know a lot of people who have no issues with it.
