Vicjustice: The answer to #7 should be RELIGION ASSOCIATION/FELLOWSHIP. You have not logically provided an answer to question #9 which is the most important of all: That is the key question of the application, and the answer that you provide to the question will determine the outcome of the application, it should have to satisfy the Visa Officer. Please, don't ask me what to answer to that question as that is a question that she and the Church should know the answer to. Yes you have to give a proper answer to Q9 eg. Your aunt is a trustee/going to minister in the church/related to the founder of the church etc. You need good reasons for this Q9 and it will be good if you can support reasons with documents. |

nunaija: Good day Justwise and others! Thank you for the good job you are doing here. I posted on this thread previously about my refusal early this year. I was guided and reapplied and Voila! I was refused again.
I was refused the first time because I did not include my salary account and I got the "How much do you have for this trip question" wrong. This time I attached my salary account that shows my 300k monthly salary with pay slip for 6 months. I wrote a cover note to explain why I was refused at first and that I have attached the documents as requested
My purpose of traveling is for a 1 week training.
My second refusal: The ECO said my previous training does not have anything to do with the training I'm going for. I bet they are related and its also job related.
Second reason is that I said the cost of travel and accommodation is 646 GBP. The ECO responded that The amount is unreasonable for airfare, accomodation, course fee and maintenance. I have paid for the course fee and Don't understand why he/she is referring to course fee. finally, the fund you have shown are not sufficient to cover all the expenses for the trip.
The balance on the account is roughly 1M
Good people please advise me on what to do next.
Thank you in anticipation So sad you got refused twice. Many always get their visa after correcting errors of first application but you committed more errors in your second application. I want to believe you have not been on this forum before you submitted your second application because quoting 646 GBP as cost for flight and accommodation is a big blunder, that's equivalent to flight alone also you should have maintain the training you applied for in your first application. Hope others will contribute but i suggest you wait for sometime before submitting another application. |

BABAOYIN: This is my payment page below on Friday, before i submitted today, does it mean i have pay for fast process which is $94.40 (User Pay Fee) ? You paid $518 as visa fee? i paid $505 on 29th June 2015. Everything going up in this country I guess the User Pay fee is for express service, didn't you ask. |

BABAOYIN: Did you mean i will receive email twice.....
First for decision then second for collection ?
I submitted at Ikeja Yes but the second mail for collection might not come in weeks. You will receive an email to say a decision has been made on your application then you should receive another email asking you to come for pick up but the mail asking you to come for pick up might not come in weeks so after a week( since you submitted in Ikeja) from the mail that says a decision has been made on your application just go and check and it might be ready for collection. Wish you success, i just got my 2 years 2 weeks ago. |

2.if u advise me to write N/A, what answer should I give the next question that says- is Any one paying for part of your trip and how much? What should be written there? Waiting... Is anyone paying for part of your trip and How Much? You should indicate YES and states the cost of accommodation and other expenses to be incurred by the church for this trip |

askari01: Kudos to you all @justwise, iblaw, ogreen, ralplauren, and the rest of us....
Kindly advise on this issue pls. My aunt application is almost ready for submission and we have planned to go submit together next week, but I want you to advise on these following questions.
My Aunt is going for a church anniversary and the church already gave her IV, SOA and Hotel reservation. How do I answer these question....
What is the Cost to you personally in £? I wrote 800 What is the total amount you have for the trip in £? I wrote 820 How much is the cost of aeroplane in £? I wrote 570.... (basically turkish or iberia airline)
WHAT IS THE COST OF ACCOMODATION? Should I write N/A Becos the church has made hotel reservation for her or I should write the price on the reservation sent to her Pls ur advise will be much appreciated. Justwise don't ignore my question ooo. All figures look ok but dont write the cost of hotel cos you are not the one bearing the cost, leave it as NA and use the Extra Info page to indicate church is paying for accommodation, i hope that has been indicated in your IV. Best of Luck |

askari01: So ur application took how many weeks at VI Submission center. I paid and submitted online form Monday 29th June and the only available date for submission at VI Centre was Friday 10th July. Submitted Friday 10th July and by Saturday 18th July i got a mail from Sheffield that a decision has been made on my application, Friday 24th July VI Centre sent a mail that i will be informed in few days to come for pick up, Friday 31st July no mail from VI Cenre but i went there and my package was waiting for me. I have never used Ikeja but @OGreene has given enough info about Ikeja. If you have plenty of time especially your purposed travel date, use VI and save yourself N18,000 otherwise pay N18,000 and use Ikeja. Best of Luck |

OGreene: Good evening great people, how una dey? I have this issue we (I & my friend) hv been trying to tackle. I am putting it here to get more info or if anyone has had similar experience. Below is d scenario:
She is married, mid 20s, works, and earns well. Her hubby wanted to do a transaction one day and asked to use her personal savings acct. He mistakenly transferred the money (12M) into her SALARY ACCT, wch she transferred out. Of course she wasn't happy abt it cos she is abt applying for a UK visa. Hubby has apologised but d deed has been done.
Then her coy is owing dem 4 months salary.
She has good savings, 2M + in her Savings acct, and some properties (lands). No travel history.
She wants to explain d huge inflow (cos she will be submitting her salary acct), but how can she convince dem coz d inflow is on d high side. And what abt d second issue (salary owed), will it all put her application in a bad light??
Justwise, pls read and comment. All comments re most welcome. @OGreene Chaiiii. That N12m transfer into her account is very bad . If i was in her shoes, i will wait till when that transaction will not reflect in the 6 months statement before applying for visa and for her owed salary tell her to ask her Account/Finance dept if they can write her a letter confirming salary is owed and will be paid soon but 4 months is a long time to owe salary o cos the ECO will be wondering coy owing 4 months salary that maybe the coy is closing down. |

zambelambe: @JUSTWISE @VIC AND ALL NAIRALANDERS
Good Morning Nairalanders
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I previously had a 6 months visa which i used just once and ob that trip i stayed for 1 month and 3 days before getting back to work then i applied as it expired and got a 2 years visa too I did not use the visa for about 22 months because I was busy with work at that time 2 months for the visa to expiry I then travelled for 2 months and 1 week which I came back a day before visa expired i replied again May 4th 2015 knowing fully well that I can apply for 5 years visa but I had to go for the 2 years because of the 5 years fee. I got my parcel back 3 weeks after application and got a refusal. Below is their decision a) That in my previous application for entry visa to the U.K, I did satisfy the ECO and met the requirements of the Immigration Rules as a visitor but that each case must be decided on its individual merits at the time of the application; b) That I claim to be in full time employment earning N 186,000.00 (609pounds) www.oanda.com as at 27/04/15 per month. That in my previous application to the U.K I planned to stay for 7 days and that I however stayed from 18/11/2011 – 04/01/2012 and that in my subsequent visit I stayed from 09/02/2014 – 26/04/2014. And that the durations of my previous visits were highly unusual considering that I do not have family or friends in the U.K. c) That although I did not over stay my visa, I did not give satisfactory explanation of – why I stayed longer than I planned to d) – how I supported myself e) – and how I met my personal, financial and professional commitments back in Nigeria while I was away f) And that in view of the above, officer ….. was not satisfied that I am living in settled domestic and economic circumstances in Nigeria and that he is not satisfied that I am genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a period not exceeding 6 months. I just recently applied and submitted on Wednesday 12th august 2015 with some explanation making them know that why I was away my salaries were been paid and I was permitted to stay out of work during my last stay, to my greatest surprise I was called the next day which was 13th of august (yesterday) to come for an interview @ the BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION ON Tuesday next week 18/8/2015 my Question to you @JUSTWISE @ VIC and all nairalander what are my likely questions? What am I to expect? What are their procedures for interview? Please i expect someone here would have an answer to my questions. IS THERE ANY ONE HERE WHO HAS ALSO GONE IN FOR INTERVIEW @ THE EMBASSY? THANKS
PATIENTLY WAITING FOR YOUR REPLIES.... Your questions will mainly be based on 1. What you were doing in the UK for the period spent 2. How you sustained yourself financially in UK and your financial commitment in Nigeria assuming you are married. 3. Prove that you still have your job in Nigeria 4. Prove that you wont finally go and not return to Nigeria If you have documents to support the above questions, your interview will be successful. Pray and answer questions with confidence Best of Luck |

I think you can collect for dem if you applied together coz on the day I was collected, a lady picked up about 10 passports by herself. Someone whispered that it might be conference thingy.
