I cant answer yes or no but just make sure he doesn't use the same phone he used in Nigeria for his Uber UK cos Uber app na witch. BlueBeard: Good morning prestigious drivers and car owners. Please I'm asking this question for a very good friend. He was very active on Uber as a driver, but his account got deactivated the second time, after a high number of declining requests, and he didn't visit Uber office to sort them out. Now he wants to leave for the UK after this whole pandemic is out. Experts in the house, please do u think he can still drive on Uber when he gets to UK, despite his account bn deactivated here in Nigeria?
Thanks |

WAS ROBBED LAST WEEK AT GUN POINT I LOST CONTACTS 08032800453 Just spoke to Ogunvic after seeing his post on being robbed. Guys drive safe and be careful. At the end of the year crime rate is very high. In spite of the wired fence at Oshodi two weeks ago I witnessed a guy snatch a phone from someone by the window in a bus around 6pm. |

Uber that don't mean well for drivers. They have a great app and customer service.
Taxify that care about drivers. Dodgy app and crappy customer service.

Morhakon47: Good morning everyone. Please i need advice. What data service provider is the best for both Uber/Taxify applications. I currently use glo and I don't need anyone to tell me that the terrible network can get me in trouble... Thanks. @ Oga OGUNVIC, please I'm a new driver and I need you to put me through. In fact I'm just going to pick up the car from my partner tomorrow and I need all the skills and knowledge required to maximize my earnings. Glo is the worse network to use. Use 9mobile or Swift /Spectranet |

CavendishPlex: Bro, what will you do if a rider gets to the drop off point and tells you he/she has no cash and will rather do a transfer to you? Will you go bezerk and demand for cash or nothing else? And how long do you want to keep a rider in your car until you get a notification of the transfer?
On weekends, it's usually by God's grace I get alerts into my GTB account. As a way around it, I ask the rider which bank the transfer is to be done from and then I give you one of the five (5) banks accounts that I use if it's same as yours. Intra-bank transfer should not take forever.
On Uber trips, I'm sure most of us are aware that Uber will do an adjustment for you once you make an in-app complaint should a rider pay zero cash or an amount short of the fare. That way, there's a level of comfort and no need to bring down any roof. With Taxify, unfortunately you are on your own. What I think you can do is to demand to see the completed transfer on the rider's phone. If a rider can demand to see my phone to make sure I have ended a trip, why should it be a problem demanding to have a look at your phone to be damn sure of the completeness of a transfer you claim to have done? What if the rider shows you a saved screenshot of a previous transfer? The best thing is as the rider is doing the transfer let him/her mention your full name on your account with that you know it's a true transfer but some bad ones might go as far as mention your full name on your account then abort the transfer and show you a saved screenshot. At 11pm last night a rider in Mende asked me to wait at Nepa Mende when we got to a street in Ogudu he asked me to end trip cos of bad road, fare was N700. He said he has no cash and I told him we just passed several banks why didn't he stop to use a cash machine. He said he will do transfer. I told him Taxify has a cash or card payment arrangement and transfer is at my own discretion. The idiot asked me to give him 2300 cash so he will transfer N700 to me. I felt like slapping him with my left hand. Told him what has me giving him 2300 got to do with him giving me 700. When he saw the way I open eye, he said ok he will transfer the 700. As he was doing the transfer I opened my online banking app and was refreshing it to see that the 700 entered. Be wise guys. |

darmilolah: Guys! Calm down. Taxify said they stopped the previous bonus because guys were requesting themselves so as to complete numbers of trips.
The guarantee bonus is to serve another purpose but unfortunately the calculation is confusing to us.
I have talk to them and they promised to look into it.
Romeo our guy... No vex too much. But why did they use the promo for October as excuse for not paying me for last week of September? The info about new system for October wasn't sent till like Friday 6th October after I complained on Wednesday 4th October. 6 days in September and 1 day in October but they decided to use excuse of October promo not to pay even when they had not informed us about the new system for October. |

mjlbabajide: Please can you further explain the BVN Card thing. I have only heard about the number, but i have no prior info about a BVN card. Can you educate us more on how to get the card, and what it looks like.
Thank you Go to the bank and branch where you did your BVN and ask for your BVN card, its a white card that bears your BVN number. |
