Romance / Re: I’m Devastated Right Now. Don’t Know What To Do Atm by Iboni1(m): 4:43pm On Dec 10, 2021
WillyWonda1:
Right now I don’t even know what to think anymore.

My girlfriend of 2 years just got back from Ukraine after her master’s degree program and since then, she’s been frequently coming to stay with me since I’ve been on land and working from my office.

Last week, I was billed to go to our Portharcourt office because our vessel berthed there. So immediately I got the mail, I decided to quickly dash home, pick a few things I’d be needing and then move. So it happened that the electric current in the neighborhood was relatively low and couldn’t pump water and my generator isn’t in good shape. So she made arrangements for a generating set to pump water( she told me over the phone).

When I got home, I decided to park outside the gate since I was moving almost immediately. On entering the gate, I saw her and a certain boy carrying the generator to return cos the tank was already filled (she said she called the guy to help with the gen. They know each other before she traveled out).

So I just greeted them casually and they put the gem in my car and went to return it. So I decided to have a quick bath before embarking on my journey. To my greatest surprise, I saw a used condom wrapper in the bathroom. At that point, my whole body system changed and I couldn’t even bathe again. I just wore my clothes, and waited for her to return with my car so I could move. Not long after, she came back and I just told her to call me and explain what’s in the bathroom then I zoomed off.
She claims she doesn’t know anything about the condom, then later told me it was the guy that came with his girlfriend.

I’ve not picked her calls since then cos I don’t even know what to think anymore.
Please I need advice guys. I’ve not been home since last week cos I’m so disappointed in her.
A part of me wants to forgive her, but I’m being skeptical.

Guys please advise me cos I can’t trust her anymore. I’m devastated right now. I can’t even work well.

You no thank God say them use CD?
Some na quick action.

Politics / Re: People That Will Feel The Additional 14 Days Lockdown By The President by Iboni1(m): 7:19am On Apr 14, 2020
Omooba77:
These are the set of people that will feel the brunt of lockdown:

1. NURTW - Like most Nigerians, NURTW drivers and conductors, live by the day, with the additional 14 days, it means no work, no delivery.

2. Agberos - Closely related to the above are agberos that collect money at every bus stop and junctions

3. Betting Agencies - These group loss of revenue is due to sporting lockdown world wide. Also because of no work, most people can't patronise them

4. Canteen Food Sellers - Most offices are closed, no customers; Ghana High is a good example

5. Eatries - Just like number 4 above, patronage is low.

6. Mechanics - Many people only warm their cars/vehicles without driving out

7. People selling in the traffic - Gala and drink sellers are feeling it.

8. Police /LASTMA/ Traffic Warden - No bus to catch

9. Cinema Houses - People can not gather to watch films

10. Add your own.

Iyiataata92:
I'm very sure Buhari didn't sleep well last night after news of the dead cows got to him.

BTW, I think the government should seize the carcass of the dead cows before investigations even if it means paying off the cow owners. If you ban beef in Lokoja, they might take it to other places and sell it

Politics / How Igala Monarch Laid Curse That Caused Downfall Of The Sanusis by Iboni1(m): 3:31pm On Mar 10, 2020
Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

According to history, the downfall of the Sanusis — Emir Mohammed Sanusi I and Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II — is not a mere coincidence, rather an aftermath of a curse laid by an Igala Monarch — the then Atta of Igala, Ameh Oboni the Great (Agaba Idu).

A historian, who wrote anonymously, recounted that in April 1963, Emir Mohammed Sanusi I of Kano was dethroned.

In 1950s, he, Emir Sanusi had, according to the historian, plotted the dethronement of the then Atta of Igala Ameh Oboni the Great (Agaba Idu).

The Atta’s offense was his refusal to bow before the Sultan of Sokoto, Chairman of Northern Nigeria Council of Chiefs during the Council’s meeting in Kaduna, capital of Northern Nigeria.

Ameh Oboni was given the option to remove his crown and bow or be removed from office. “But the Atta was a god and could not bow to any human being,” noted the historian.

Ameh Oboni knew that by the Igala tradition, the implication of his dethronement was that none of his descendants would ever be allowed to be crowned Atta after him. So he accepted to remove his crown and bow.

But the moment he removed his crown, a swam of bees rushed out of his head and chased the chiefs out of their chamber. That ended the plot for that day.

Oboni then walked up to Emir Sanusi and told him that, for attempting to remove him from office, he, Sanusi, “would lose his throne and that any of his descendants that ever ascended the throne would be dethroned“.

So In April 1963, as Mohammed Sanusi was chauffeured from Kaduna to his palace in Kano after a council meeting, he heard on the car radio of his own dethronement by the Government of Northern Nigeria.

Today about 57 years after, Emir Mohammed Sanusi’s grandson, Emir Lamido Sanusi II has been dethroned.

According to the historian, “The Curse of The Agaba Idu MUST be cleansed!” for the Sanusis to be freed from its ripple effects.

Editorialtimes:
Alleged Killers of PDP women leader, in Ochadamu paraded by the police in Lokoja.

The Kogi State Police Command has paraded Ocholi Edicha and five others for allegedly burning to death the PDP woman leader a day after the State Governorship Election.

Addressing Newsmen in his office, the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Busari said the suspects would be arraigned in court very soon.

Ocholi Edicha, during interrogation confessed that he led the gang that burnt, Mrs Salome Abuh - the Police commissioner said.

He said the suspects further confessed that they were responsible for the series of armed robbery incidences in Ochadamu and its environment.

The Commissioner of Police condemned the killing of Mrs Salome, called for calm and assured that the perpetrators would not go unpunished, adding that efforts were being made to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.

Speaking on behalf of the gang, Ocholi Edicha confessed to slapping Mrs Salome Abuh on the day of the election, but denied the burning down of the house.

According to Ocholi Edicha, the burning down of the House of late Mrs Salome was carried out by members of the APC. He went further to explain that the members of the PDP earlier, were involved in a face-off with some members of the ruling party which led to the burning down of the house.
