Hello all, I just started Tbills on the 13th of feb. I gave an instruction for the interest to be reinvested. I did 3mill for 364days, but was debited #2,999,680. later I was debited #1,840 for safe keep. How do I know what am entitled to at the end of 364days. please I need advice becos my target is to get to 100mill in 10years, with continuous top up. I also learnt the next bidding is on the 26th of Feb. I hope to do two million but I need to know what is happening to my first 3million. Thanks for your help.

Kwankwaso chose the son and daughters of the poor and sent them overseas to become important figures in life, among many reason Kwankwaso command amazingly massive followers in Kano state.
Kwankwaso now anointed a pdp governorship candidate and promoted him. "Abba gida-gida" is now surprisingly a trend and a household name in Kano.
It's only miracle that can make Ganduje 4+4 as he only command sponsored followers in the state.

With all due respect, I think its embarrassing and very unfair to liken the i-invest app to the MMM u re talking about. Its high time I respond to all these. The app is a simply technology redefined and a product advertised by a bank. It does not in any form reflect the practices of any ponzi scheme. It does not give any ambiguous discount on investment and it has been superb all the way. So many other savings/investment app are all out there; i-invest, piggybank, alat, cowrysavings and so on, but so far its only i-invest that is on tbills. Give some credits to the developers too.
The app is out there and people are using it. DONT TOIL WITH PEOPLE EMOTIONS NOW. If u want to use it, use it, then if u don't want to use it then leave it. They don't force people to download it anyway. Its there advertised on all business site, even check Sterling bank site, its there. PLS STOP PLAYING WITH OUR EMOTIONS.
For your info, I got a mail from sterling bank concerning mmy investment on i-invest several times now.
I've never been to Lagos but i made a good research concerning the parthian partners team and i found them trustworthy: I study their respective profiles. Even after registration i made more than 30 transactions and they are always consistent. I preliquidates most of my investments and the cashout was always prompt. The upfront interest holding is enough to give them profit on your investment even if they bought from secondary market and sold to you.

I just googled a recent media report concerning development with the app business activities.

Why dd u preliquidate now? I guess you re tempted to much. Anyway hope u got your full capital back?
Again how did u initiate the liquidation on the app?
I use to preliquidate once i found better investments. Once it's over 30 days you can liquidate anytime and the cashout is always instant. You still gain 70% of your accrued profit in addition to the principal.
Just click the investment you whish to preliquidate, sale and proceed.
I've now put my money back into the app thanks to its liquidity.

I preliquidated some of my investments in iinvest today in other to participate in tomorrow Tbills auction but, unfortunately, the only Sibtc branch has their customer care service too much congested. I missed the auction now. I may have to either buy at secondary market or take it back to the app which is more convenient.

I am mostly concerned about understanding how it works.
So this is what I understand from visiting the link someone shared a few pages earlier:
For a TB transaction to happen,
a customer has to move funds from whatever accounts they may have with whichever banks to an account (a kind of wallet) with the app,
the app managers present the customer with the available tenors and their rates and locks in the customer's funds with their choice, and
Sterling bank then executes the TB instructions of the app manager.

The was I see it is that the customer does not deal directly with the bank.
It's simple and self explanatory if you have studied treasury bills and investment using mobile applications.

Your money is immediately credited into your wallet at maturity. Withdrawal from wallet to your bank account is just a few hours.
I also have a maturing investment tomorrow. I never had a widrawal process that exceeds an hour.

I had a similar experience with an Asset Mgt Coy last year and it was not palatable. Since then, I've been doing my top up with their app and it's been stress-free ever since. An alternative way to credit your wallet on i-invest is e-Billspay. This way, your wallet is credited real-time. No turenchi. You can pay via e-Bills from a branch of your bank or via Internet Banking. I hope this helps.
I always use "pay with debit/credit card" option. My account get credited instantly and i never had transaction issues with i-invest.

One question I would like to ask the house about Tbills and of course every other govt borrowing from the public is if truly govt borrow all thse monies to fund projects and execute govt expenditures, how do they get the money back plus the interests to pay the public?
By using new investors money to settle matured tbills.

I have been using the i-invest app for my TB because I am abroad and not easy to run the normal TB from here.
Yes the I-invest don't pay upfront interest but rather the interest is re-invested together with your principal to give a higher interest after the tenor matures.
For example you invest 1m for 364days at 14%, your interest should be around 140 k +- , but you realise that you interest will be around 160k, meaning your interest was compounded (your rate becomes about 16%).
It is a good app to invest in when you don't need the interest to use immediately.
Thanks
Since registering with the app around October, i made more than 30 transactions and there is no single problem recorded. I prefer it over banks for the sake of convenience as i get my credit alert in less than an hour whenever i demand liquidation.
There is feeling of gratitude seeing your wealth growing steadily on daily basis.
