Another scary thing is the funding for the protests. If funding was just from within the country, I wont be concerned, but I am particularly scared about the funding coming from outside the country (over N35Million now). Even yesterday, the flutterwave account was said to be shut down by the cbn (which later turned out to be false, it was temporarily suspended by the company's chairman due to suspicious activity) and they continued accepting donations by bitcoin and crypto, boasting that they are untraceable and the CBN cannot control these.

It made me think to myself, so this is how foreign actors, enemies, foreign terrorist groups will freely fund movements that can tip this country into turmoil.

I can imagine the joy going on at the Elysee Palace in Paris. France's biggest geopolitical foe is on the brink of chaos. They tried weakening Nigeria by breaking it up during the civil war and failed. They have another opportunity now, to destroy Nigeria finally and be the major uncontested power in West Africa. Just make some modifications ,.

If the protests persist the fpi may start dumping their stocks leading to panic sales among many other reasons fundamental investors are getting annoyed with the uprising.

@OakPearl.. My trading 212 is up and running now, won't make that expensive mistake again, I've learnt my lesson. I'll say it again to anyone that cares to listen "AVOID CHAKA BY ALL MEANS!" Nigerian fintech will destroy your trading opportunities, learn from my mistake. Imagine after loosing $1k I'll still pay them commission charges, crazy people.

I'm using chaka and i never had such problems with them. Technical glitch can occurs in any system. It will be better to avoid tarnishing the image of indigenous technopreneurs for selfish reason.

I just uninstall my mt4. Online forex and CFD trading is just like gambling; It's addictive and higly liquid.

Veristas is too indifferent: they didn't paid me but the previous and today's zenith dividend and they are not responding to my mails.

I bought an apple at $112, it rose to 123 and i refused to sold it thinking i am a smart investor it has now fall to $106. Trading is not easy.

Safelock from figybest offered an investment of 13% per annum, with upfront interest as in tbills. They microfinance fintech with highest numbers of investors. I like their services but sustainability issue is what i am still no confidence with.

I don't believe you can own company shares with fxtm, you only have the privilege to trade the stock derivatives which is much more volatile and riskier.

In the spirit of sharing, I thought I share my portfolio. I am new to the stock trading / investment in stocks and I have reading comments from others, watching CNBC , watching investor clips and reading loads. I have made some mistakes, lost some and gain some, but feel like I am getting better daily. So my advice is to keep learning and researching.
