good evening sir,i should have called you but am out of airtime,thanks for yesterday and the other day,,,I have tried dragging the jockey on the potentiometer and recorded the readings but while checking through precautions in the past question,i learnt that the Jockey shouldn't be dragged but rather placed on the particular point required,i even asked another random physics teacher and he confirmed to me that,jockey shouldn't be dragged on the potentiometer

I just saw the physics waec 2017 practical specimen and when I checked previous questions related to the apparatuses mentioned especially the number 1, I felt it is simple harmonic motion. Now I got a past question that involves these apparatuses and was confused with "Hold both ends of the rule and displace the rule slightly, then release so that it oscillates about a vertical axis through its centre." I've not done this type of practical before, am familiar with other shm practicals but my issue is how they mean by the rule oscillating about a vertical axis. Please just help if you can.

u hold both end and displace it like you are opening a tap,one end going forward and the other moving backward

d slope doesn't ave any unit I got 0.039. approximately 0.04 dre is no unit in slope

there is unit in slope sir,dont make that mistake,it depends on the unit of the parameters you are plotting,,,if u are plotting two parameters of same unit,the slope will not have unit,but if you are plotting a graph in which the parameters are of different unit,it will have unit depending on the unit,check the series and see the answer they got for slope for different years,u will see what am talking about

check the question well,is it H against T square or T square against Hi think it's H against T square cos d slope will have dis unit..cm/sec square

U stir continuously but take readings in every 2 minutes or u watch when it boils(bubbles at the surface of the liquid).

Though it's similar to 2009 but it isn't it because it has mass hung on it, and there's no logarithm. 2012, Q3, is real but the some answers on the past questn booklet r wrong.

Note that graph 1 & 3 are hard to plot, maybe because it involves Logarithm. The line tends to intercept on the horizontal but u are required of the vertical intercepts, making it hard. Also note that in Q1, as L(cm) decreases, t(s) increases. In Q2, the slope have unit(g/degree celsius).

what should we do as regards this,since the line is tending towards the horizontal and we are ask to find the intercept on the vertical axis?

smh....a doc is complaining.. then what would you say of the nurses??doctors are flexing full time,they don't take doctors for granted, nurses would embark on warning strike,even enter main strike,from now till eternity, yet nothing come out..but doctors just warning strike, is enuf..most hospitals have doctors stations, but nurses,theirs is pathetic.. in fact resident doctors, are bring paid,soo well,compared to the nurses,sometimes medical students, are being paid,even when they Neva smell their final MB exams...a fresh doctor, earns higher than a nurse,that's in the system for several donkey years, whereas these nurses,do the main jobs..have seen a doc,that can't fix simple cannula..so guy,ur case holds no water,in the case of doctors and nurses,monkey dey work, baboons dey chop.
