D capital of Oyo state is Ibadan which has 11 local govts. 5 of which are in urbanized areas, d remaining 6 are in "semi urbanized areas"


In Oyo state, there is a town called OYO town, ibroh22 said d light situation in Oyo town is bad and most of their houses(the ones he has visited) have no toilets.

Oyo town isn't a village, it is not just as big / civilized as Ibadan(which is normal)

Ogbomoso is another town in Oyo state, he said d social life is poor..except u live close to skul.area. dis is it, wherever u live in ogbomoso. U can always enjoy ur social life if u re d social type,(dis depends on ur definition of being social tho)

He also said, if u need babes to flex in Oyo town, u can go to Emmanuel alayande college of education to get babes.

biko! not the houses I have visited in Oyo town,,I have done the survey of the town,most of d indigenes don't have toilet in their house,even some personal houses don't have toilet and most commercial houses.......

Ibadan is very large,,,I don't know all the LG in Ibadan despite the fact that I was born and bred there,,but if u will enjoy all the LG in Ibadan if u r posted there,in as much it's the crowded LGA and not those far away from the main and popular places in Ibadan,,,there are villages in Ibadan too

apart from Ibadan as a city, ogbomoso(home of lautech), and Oyo town are also reasonable..


Generally, u will enjoy Oyo state.

don't go Oyo town o,cos there light is bad and most of their houses don't get toilet,,,,but if u like gals to take to oda room,go to Emmanuel Alayande college of education,, ogbomoso is manageable but social life is boring unless u go school area which will be boring cos u won't get to flex with ppl of Ur calibre except students

I don't think so,,,,you can't be allowed to see dem anyhow like dat,,unless you will make it an official visit maybe by sending letter to them,so they can be aware or if there are cultural festivals,thats when people can go in and out of the palace at will but you may or may not see oba in such occasions Nd if u see him,it will be at a distance,it will be hard to meet him personally in such occasions cos of the security
