Family / Nothing Is Working — Absolutely Nothing!!! by ibuks12(m): 10:29am On Dec 11, 2023
Can you briefly reflect on how far you’ve gone in your quest for a better life this year?

How is life treating you? What is it throwing at you?

Are things going as planned? If yes, congratulations.

Maintain the winning strategy or increase your productivity if necessary.

Remember, there’s always room for improvement.

Now, listen!

Don’t give up if life is not smiling at you.

I know it’s hard to keep trying when there is nothing to show for your hard work.

But don’t be discouraged, things will turn out fine at the end of it all — trust me.

Wait, you think it’s getting too late to achieve your financial goals?

Oh, you think you’re running out of time to reach the year’s milestone?

Don’t panic, I am sure things will turn around for your good if you do the right thing at the right time.

Why am I so confident about that? Well, I’m speaking from experience.

I was once in a situation when everything was off around me.

Nothing was working — absolutely nothing.

Poor dieting, no admission, no good clothes, and life felt empty.

I was running out of time and options. Holding back tears, I asked myself – will I always be broke and stuck?

But thankfully, my story didn’t end there, I kept on pushing until the story changed

Here I am telling my story.

Let me walk you through the five key mentality shifts that helped me survive the turbulent period. They will be of great help…

Career / Run From Blogging —don't Say I Didn't Warn You (must Read For Inspiring Blogger) by ibuks12(m): 7:53am On Nov 05, 2023
That thing isn't for the weak, especially for newbies building from scratch

I have been working on a blog post since 9 in the morning and I'm just publishing it now (4 PM)

Why is it that long, you ask? Well, that's because the blog posts needed to be detailed, fact-checked, and valuable.

To achieve this, I completed the following steps:

✅ Keyword research

✅ Wrote 2K words

✅ Editing

✅ Formatting

✅Finding copyright-free images

✅ Optimizing images for SEO (alt text and all that)

✅ Finding credible Outbound Links

✅ Optimizing the blog post (meta tags and others)

✅ Publishing

So, think twice before you dive into this thing called #blogging

This isn't to scare you, but to prepare your mind that nothing good comes easy

Absolutely Nothing...

Whether blogging, Copywriting, marketing, trading, singing... You name it!

You must strive at the beginning to survive.

So, don't give up, even if it's hard.

Culture / Is There An Age Or Year Of Your Life You Would Re-live? by ibuks12(m): 4:29pm On Nov 04, 2023
Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?

Definitely! Those good old days of zero worries when everything was fine in my dear country — Nigeria.

Those were the times we often celebrate Independence Day like Christmas.

Good old days of zero worries when we comfortably slept in a fence-less compound with two eyes closed.

No fear of being kidnapped or losing pricey assets to thieves and armed robbers

I could remember those days when I would happily go to the farm and help my parents clear the bushes for cultivation.

I would rush to our yard to wet vegetables to boost their growth.

The good old days of zero worries when I would play football from 4 pm to 6 pm without thinking of cooking.

Do you know why? My lovely siblings were the best chefs in the world and they would have finished cooking before my arrival.

How will I forget those days? When my mother kind of treated me ‘specially’ because I always helped her with farming and other home activities.

Did you just call me Mum’s favorite? Well, you aren’t far from the truth!

Although she always tried to hide her special love for me to avoid unnecessary jealousy from my siblings.

You know how caring mothers can be sometimes, right?
Career / How To Make More Money As An Author (eight Effective Steps) by ibuks12(m): 4:16pm On Nov 04, 2023
Did you know a good author doesn't earn less than $5,000 per year from their book royalties?

That's right. There's much money in the writing industry.

Hence, you can make a living as a writer with a working strategy.

That's why I will show you how to monetize your writing skills, time, and efforts in the article.

In case you are wondering: “Who is this guy, and why should I listen to what he has to offer?”

I'm Ibukun Italoye, a content writer and freelancer with over three years of experience.

The image below shows some of my earnings as a writer.

Yeah, it's a bit little (compared to fake screenshots online), but it's a perfect way to start.

Now that you know a little about me, let's get down to the eight steps to earn the income you deserve.

1. Believe in Yourself

Don't panic; I'm not turning this page into motivational post.

However, we can't underestimate the importance of self-confidence to your earning potential.

What does self-confidence have to do with writing?

It is significant because you must first believe in yourself and your ability to produce captivating content.

You can't publish a fast-selling book until you believe you have what it takes to solve people's problems through writing.

Six Effective Tips For Building Self-confidence as a Writer

Below are some ways to believe in your writing skills and ability to create a masterpiece.

Identify Your Strengths and Weaknesses

Make a list of your best skills as a writer.
Is it dialogue, vivid imagination, research, or ideations? Write them down.

Likewise, write down weaknesses you must solve to become a good writer.

Recognizing these traits will help you build confidence and start making money as an author
Culture / 10 Mistakes I Made In My Early 20s (and How To Avoid Them) by ibuks12(m): 6:14pm On Oct 24, 2023
My early 20s were a hot mess. I made enough mistakes that can fill an encyclopedia page.

Sincerely, I wish God would give humans the ability to go back to the past and right our wrongs.

Well, now that I can't change the past, I can only share my experience and ensure upcoming generations don't make similar mistakes.

What am I talking about? Well, here are the mistakes I made in my early 20s.

1. Not Building Strong Relationships (Isolating Myself)

This is one of my greatest mistakes that somewhat affected my growth as a person.

Oh! if you knew me back then, you would understand what I mean better.

Have you ever met someone who wouldn't mind spending 48 hours indoors without any issues?

I am that person.

Being a freelance writer didn't help my case either. I would remain inside my room all day, scrolling from one website to another searching for resources for my articles.

In my quest to build my career, I often turned down invitations from friends and found excuses not to socialize.

I told myself there would be time for that later.
Consequently, I felt very alone and missed out on building valuable relationships.

Prevention

Don't overlook your social life while pursuing a better future.

I understand the need for discipline and focus in your quest for success, but ensure you regularly connect with family and friends.

Strike a balance between work and social life, build strong relationships with people, and you will live happily.
Career / Seven Key Signs You Will Be Rich In The Future by ibuks12(m): 6:00pm On Oct 24, 2023
Have you ever wondered if you would be rich in the future? I know you have.

I mean, who wouldn't want to be successful and wealthy?

While there are no guarantees in life, there are certain traits many wealthy people seem to have in common.

So, let's briefly look at the seven key signs you will be rich in the future.

You might be on the road to riches if you resonate with these signs.

1. They Mastered Some Money-making Skills Early

You might be the first billionaire in your family if you learned how to make money as a kid.

This isn't a baseless assumption because many famous individuals discovered and honed their money-making talent at tender ages.

Well-regarded billionaires like Warren Buffett and Richard Branson started earning in their childhood.

They were hustling when other kids were playing video games around.

Warren Buffet started selling gum packs at six, 12-year-old Mark Cuban sold trash bags, and Richard Branson launched his parakeets-selling business at five.

Considering these awesome guys and their stories, it's safe to say that developing these kinds of money-making skills this early is a sign to watch out for.
Do you agree with me on this point? If not, let's move to the second one.

2. They Set Some Seriously Ambitious Goals

Wealthy people set some seriously ambitious goals. I’m talking about shooting-for-the-moon type of goals.

They don’t settle for average or good enough.

They set lofty goals and pay the price to achieve them, even if it means missing out on fun distractions.

They sacrifice many things to be successful.

Reetu Gupta, founder of Cirkled In, revealed how she wasn't available to watch her kids grow due to the lofty dreams for her Company.

Carmen Huang, Co-founder of Commerce Chicks, sacrificed her sleep to reach her lifelong dream.

According to her, she and her friend “barely sleep 3 hours a night."

They "sacrificed sleep to get the site off the ground running and making sure it was successful.”

Stefan Smulders, CEO of Expandi.io, never had a smooth work-life balance, while Jayson DeMers, CEO of EmailAnalytics, said she lost her sanity.

You stand a bright chance of being rich in the future if you always sacrifice unproductive events to achieve your target.

3. They Live Modestly

You may think rich people live in huge mansions and drive fancy cars. Well, some do.

But actually, most of the wealthy people live modest and simple lifestyles. They rarely flaunt their wealth to prove a point.

They focus on needs and invest in promising opportunities.

Though this point is highly debatable because some rich guys spend lavishly, living a modest lifestyle remains one of the signs you will have a bright future.

4. They Love Investing

The wealthy guys are all about investing money, time, and energy in profitable opportunities.

They put their money into assets and businesses that will generate even more money.

When was the last time you invested in any business?

Do you love to seize any opportunity that could improve your financial status?

If yes, you are on the right path to becoming the most famous person in your family (if other things work according to plan).

If you haven't been investing, this is a wake-up call. Start investing in business or ventures with an impressive return.

The truth is, you don't need a million dollars before investing in a venture.

Start small, start somewhere, and keep growing.

Take advantage of every legal investment opportunity that crosses your path, big or small.

Being an unrepentant investor is a sign that you might be rich sooner than later.

5. They Are Focused and Disciplined

Discipline is about controlling your actions, emotions, and behaviors to achieve a target.

The famous folks do that a lot of time.

They avoid distractions and practice self-discipline to live a life worthy of emulation.

You must maintain top-level concentration to succeed in life.

Study hard, reduce your time on social media, read books, and practice everything you read.

Divert those hours you spend binge-watching Netflix into something more productive.

Put that energy into imagining a future where you're so loaded with money.

Staying disciplined is significant to success. There's no other way to do it.

6. They Take Actions

I know you love reading books and articles that will enhance your growth. That's why you are here.

But when was the last time you practiced what you read?

Successful people don't only invest in knowledge; they practice what they learn.

They possess an action-oriented mindset and are ready to take the first step.

Congratulations if you are an action taker because the sky will be your limit.

Meanwhile, you must improve your lifestyle if you belong to a group of people who don't take action.

Don’t just learn about success; apply what you know. Knowledge is useless without action!

7. They Have Mentors

Almost every rich person has a mentor on their journey to success.

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, was Bill Gates' mentor.

Mark Zuckerberg of Meta had Steve Jobs as his mentor, while Richard Branson had to learn from Sir Freddie Laker when things were rough.

Sports / Should Nigeria Recall Manchester City Product Who Has Five Goals In Nine Games by ibuks12(m): 8:39pm On Sep 18, 2022
No doubt Josh Maja is back to fine form having recorded five goals and three assists in nine games this season.

The Former Sunderland is currently one of the bests players in the French Ligue 2 Championship following his blistering form for Girondins Bordeaux.

However, it seems the player isn't close to earning a recall to the Super Eagles despite his impressive goalscoring records.

Coach Jose Peseiro has more than enough options to lead the team's attack.

Like Maja, Terem Moffi started the 2022/23 Ligue 1 season in an awe-inspiring form. The FC Lorient centre-forward has found the back of the net on six occasions in tougher competition.

Belgium-eligible striker Cyriel Dessers is also ahead of the 23-year-old in the pecking order.

Though he isn't in magnificent form for his new Cremonese fc, Dessers remains a force to reckon with in Peseiro's attacking setup.

Nottingham Forest striking duo Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis were recently invited to the camp for the forthcoming friendly game against Algeria despite their inferior stats compared to Maja.

This shows that the one-cap Super Eagle might need more than his recent showings to convince the Portuguese tactician.

Meanwhile, playing for a second-tier club somewhat affects his chances Considering all the invited forwards (except Ahmed Musa) ply their trade in the top five European competitions.

Nonetheless, contributing eight goals in nine matches is a great stat for any striker. I believe Maja would be given another opportunity based on three conditions.

First, Nigeria's first-choice striker Victor Osimhen is absent due to incessant injuries. Secondly, Taiwo Awoniyi and other backups didn't perform well against the Algerian side. Lastly, Maja maintains his goalscoring feat for the team.

Meanwhile Maja was with the Manchester City academy before moving to Sunderland in 2015 in search of first-team football.

Literature / Seven Exciting Ways To Celebrate Your Birthday And How I Celebrated Mine by ibuks12(m): 11:56am On Aug 17, 2022
Birthday comes once a year. So, I advise you celebrate in a grand style.

Don’t know the exciting ways to celebrate birthday? Don’t worry I have interesting ideas for you.

Let’s do it this way; August 14 was my birthday. I will tell you how I celebrated mine. Then, I will add more ideas to how I celebrated mine so you will have multiple options to choose from.

Do you agree with that? Okay fine, let’s get down to business.

How I celebrated my birthday

It was an awesome day. I mean, clocking
another year wasn’t a small achievement. It deserves to be celebrated with all family and friends.

Take pictures and have an unforgettable experience you will cherish for another 365 days.

Unfortunately, I didn’t celebrate my birthday in grand style like I would have loved to. I didn’t have enough time to merry as I had to finish a project that must be submitted the next day.

Did you say that’s not enough reason? Well, you are right! That wasn’t the only reason for the low-key celebration.

My introverted nature somehow prevented me from visiting different places as I have always been the indoor type. I seldom step out of the compound for no reason— hopefully, that will change this year.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean I don’t have a good time whatsoever. The following list of activities I performed during the day will surely convince you.

1. I went to church to praise God

Nothing is as good as celebrating your birthday on Sunday because it offers you the chance to praise God in church alongside other worshipers.

As a Christian, it has been my norm and tradition to begin a birthday celebration in God’s presence— singing praises to his name and committing the next 365-day journey to his watchful eyes.

According to Apostle Joshua Selman in one of his teachings, it is important and mandatory to start everything with God... Read more

Sports / 2022 CAF Award: One Possible Reason For Osimhen's Snub by ibuks12(m): 8:27am On Jul 01, 2022
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the 30-man shortlist for this year's player of the year award, but Victor Osimhen didn't make the list.

No one saw it coming, I mean, how would you explain an 18-goal striker missing out when strikers with lesser output and impacts were included in the list.

The Napoli star assisted two and scored four goals against Sao Tome in the last AFCON 2023 qualifying match, while he was involved in 24 goals (18 goals and 6 assists) in all competitions for his club during the year in review.

Diving a little bit from Osimhen, it remains a mystery how Nigeria's midfielder Joe Aribo couldn't make the list despite featuring in three of the four matches played by his country at the Mundial.

Having featured regularly for the Super Eagles, and winning a major trophy for Glasgow Rangers, everyone expected the lively midfielder's name on the list.

As for Osimhen, most people pointed to his absence during the AFCON 2021 tournament as the main reason for his snub.

The 23-year-old striker couldn't showcase his skills and talents at the tournament due to injury.

He couldn't overcome the nasty head injury he suffered against Inter Milan in November 2021. Hence, the then-manager Austin Eguavoen ignored him in his final AFCON list.

His controversial absence undoubtedly influenced the organizer's decision to leave him out of contention for the award.

Osimhen's Move To Arsenal Suffers A Huge Setback

The 23-year-old striker has been Arsenal's long-time target since his exploits at the under-17 World Cup in 2017, and reports were linking him to the Emirates Stadium.

Unfortunately, the proposed move to the Gunners suffered a huge setback while Mikel Arteta's side confirmed Gabriel Jesus' signature this week.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward sealed a £45million move to the Gunners from Manchester City, thereby becoming one of the club's most coveted center-forwards at the moment.

As it stands, the Nigerian forward might remain at the Diego Maradona Stadium for the 2022/2023 season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly looking at the chances of luring the striker to Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford this summer.

Having released Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan, the Blues are in the market for a capable replacement.

Though Thomas Tuchel's employers haven't made an official bid, reports emanating from the West London club suggest the manager fancies a chance of working with the prolific striker.

As for Manchester United, the Red Devils have reportedly met with Napoli to discuss the player's availability but it remains unknown if they will meet Napoli's asking price.

valentineuwakwe:
Bordeaux star, Remi Oudin, has provided the latest update on teammate Samuel Kalu’s condition after the Nigerian winger collapsed on the pitch only five minutes into their Ligue 1 fixture against Marseille on Sunday night.

DAILY POST reports that Kalu, 23, was allowed to play on after receiving treatment from medical staff.

However, the Super Eagles forward was taken off eight minutes later.

Kalu was preparing to form a defensive wall for a free-kick when he fell to the pitch as the match eventually ended 2-2 after normal time.

Providing an update on Kalu’s condition, Oudin, who replaced the Nigerian, said at his post-match press conference that he would undergo tests on Monday, adding that his teammate had a simple discomfort during the encounter.

“Kalu’s incident gave us chills. It’s always a bit shocking for spectators and players on the pitch,” Oudin said.

“With what happened with Eriksen at the Euros, we think about it. Everyone got a little scared. Fortunately, it ended well.

“According to the doctors, it’s a simple discomfort but he will certainly be undergoing tests on Monday.”

Hi, here's just an unplanned write-up that cross my mind few minutes ago. Kindly ignore my unofficial approach, but focus on the message I'm passing across to you.

Okay! My dear friend can you, in one word, tell me how is life treating you?

Good? Worse? Or somewhere in the middle? Don't lie to me at this point, you never know what am up to!

My friend reading this post, if you are enjoying the best of time — whether financially or materially, please don't ignore people in need of help.

They need you now more than ever. I mean, you are in the right position to help them now that you have all it takes to feed your family and others without any financial constraints.

You think being a cheerful giver would attract attention, which is the least you want that right now? It's okay if you feel that way, but there are ways to go about it.

Why not engage in charity programs, visit a qualified and certified orphanage homes and pledge a certain amount of money in an anonymous condition.

That's sound great — right? And if you feel that isn't secretive enough, you should invest in someone's education without revealing yourself to the beneficiary.

If that is still not hidden enough? Then you might need to establish a strategy that suits your lifestyle. Pls, the bottom line is to be a blessing to others.... Abeg!!!

You should learn from Cubana's recent testimony making headlines on social media about how established his friends.

In this time of your life, pls invest in profitable business or any venture that guarantees steady income.

Pls and pls, this is very crucial in time like this. Thank God, you command a mouthwatering paycheck, please ensure you invest.

Here is me speaking from experience. Rousy times like this period of your life might possibly seize at some point... Hey! I don't pray for that, but we've seen it happened to many people. This is why it is mandatory you invest your earnings in what you can fall on should things go messy. Once again, I DON'T pray for this!

Another thing you should do this period is to stay humble! You can make billions and still remain a humble and cool-headed individual.

Don't let your riches and outlandish materials get into your head, there are people who are making more than you can ever imagine.

Don't be mad at this junction, I just feel like you need to hear the truth about and how to moderately navigate through it without attracting bad energy.

It's okay to be proud of your achievements — we all do, but don't get too excited to assume everyone can't achieve the same feat or achievements. It pays to stay humble and keep improving your new level.

To you experiencing the not-too-good period, first thank God that there is still hope because everything hasn't gone beyond control or redemption. There's still hope.

I guess am in this category, I'm neither in the best time nor in bad time.. Just somewhere in the middle like you.

Knowing that am God's working project, I always thank God that "though I am not seeing the best of life, I'm not experiencing its worst side"

You too can desire such grateful mindset while you PUSH for the best... Admittedly, things aren't turning out the way we want, and that sucks! But that's not the end of life.

Remember that popular "When there is life, there is hope" quote? That should form the central part of your belief system from now henceforth, because you are far from a finished gabbage.

And if you think you are in the worst time; I'm sorry to disappoint you — there's nothing as 'worst' time in my dictionary. Yeah, things are extremely out of hand and you are struggling for daily meal, but that's not the worst because you still stand a chance of turning things around.

At this stage, you have nothing to loose, you should seek help from relative. Don't be too proud to ask for help — just this once. Even Bible said "Ask, and it shall be given." .

A relative or friend might help you out with a little (I mean extremely little) amount of money. Try and do something with it and ensure you double the figure. Work and pray for grace.

I know it's hard, I have actually been in that position before progressing to 'somewhere in the middle' So, I know how frustrating it could be.

But being hopeless won't safe you, you have got to push it. Go all-out and get something started, it's non-negotiable.

Conclusion

I don't even know how to conclude this. I am fired up to keep writing because I feel someone out there need to hear that their current situation isn't the end.

Whether good or bad, life moves on! Your future is that largely determined by today's actions and a bit of favor, hence you've got to keep grinding.

That's all for tonight, I will see you some other time.... Keep Winning!!!

Family / How To Improve Your Spiritual Growth For Greater Success by ibuks12(m): 10:34pm On Jul 03, 2021
Happy New month! It’s great having you here as we are set to discuss how to improve your spiritual growth for greater success in 2021.

We also desire the fresh anointing of the Holy Ghost in our lives for the rest of the year.

As you continue to celebrate the start of a brand new month, we want to remind you that your main priority for the second half of the year shouldn’t be outside the plan of God.

Yes! You already have your plans and targets for the year, but do you include God in them?

As much as it is important to remain determined and focus towards achieving all the set goals and targets, you shouldn’t forget what the lord says in Matthew 6:33 that we should seek the face of the lord first.

“Until we seek the lord, we can’t find him irrespective of his omnipresent status” — Ibukun Italoye

Seeking the lord and putting him first shouldn’t be a problem if we are determined to diligently seek him.

Seeking first the kingdom of God only requires you to wake up and pray to him.

Thank him for the gift of life; study the word of God by reading the bible alongside your daily devotion materials.

Doing this won’t only help you remain in close relationship with God, but will equally ensure that you enjoy the company of the Holy Ghost throughout the day.

Do not forget proverb 10:22 tells us that the lord blesses without adding sorrows to it.

Hence, do not go into a day without putting him first because he is the only one who can direct your path (proverb 3:6).

In summary, how to improve you spiritual growth for great successes in 2021 includes....

Happiness isn’t what you chase, but what you invite. Therefore, there are certain overrated things you must ignore to be happy.

In this article, we will share with you the top five things you should ignore if you must create a peaceful and joyful atmosphere within and around you.

People’s Criticism and Unhealthy Opinions
People will find ways to criticize you regardless of your position or condition in life. If you are doing great, they will possibly say “you aren’t doing enough to leave your comfort zone”

And if you are struggling to make things happen, the same set of people will accuse you for being lazy when it is obvious you are doing your best to change situation.

Listening to their criticism and discouraging opinion will have negative impacts on your level of joy and happiness.

Instead, turn a deaf ear to their comments. Live your life the best way you can and don’t hesitate to take the right steps when necessary.

Don’t let people’s thoughts force you into doing what you don’t like. See their criticism as source of motivation while you keep progressing at your own commendable pace.

Family / Monday Motivation: Foolscap Seller Reveals Four Shocking Secrets Of His Success by ibuks12(m): 10:51am On Jun 14, 2021
hey guys! it's another Monday and it's great having you around for this week's Monday motivation quotes and talk.

Can you briefly reflect on how far you've gone in your quest for a better life this year?

How is life treating you, and what is it ruin at you at the moment? Is it treating you well?

Are things going on as planned? if yes congratulation. Please stick to your winning strategy while you try to increase your productivity rate.

You can always do better because are always room for improvement. However, If you feel like this is the best pace for now, don't hesitate to maintain it until you are psychologically and financially ready to raise the gear.

Don't forget that football managers don't change a winning team, they only encourage the players to keep it up or improve on their few lapses.

I advise you keep up the winning approach, the winning mentality and the winning strategy because you are going high places.

Meanwhile, don't give up if life is not smiling at you right now. I know it's hard to keep trying when there are nothing to show for your hard work.

But don't be discouraged, things will turn out fine at the end of it all — trust me.

Do you think it's getting too late to achieve that your financial goals? You think you are running out of time to reach to set target for the year?

Don't panic, I am extremely sure things will turn around for your good as long as you are doing the right thing at the right time.

I sound confident right right? How am I even sure things will work out fine? I know this because I have been in similar situation when everything appeared to be going against me.

I knew how hard it was to keep pushing, but I did (against-all-odds) I knew it was a phase that would pass.

So, I kept pushing until success is achieved.

Okay, let me share with you the top four secrets of how I navigate my way out of the turbulent period. I'm sure they will be of great help

1. I Deploy Diverse Options To See Which One Is Perfect and More Profitable

One of the things I believe helped me navigate through the life-threatening situation was that I deployed diverse options.

I knew I needed a strategy that works effectively but I just couldn't discover what it was earlier.

I engage in different money-making practice and activities. In fact, I sold foolscap sheet to my classmates, and at the same time invest in a small-scale recharge card business.

I was equally involved in a small-scale noodles business (more or less like a Maishai: Nigerians will understand this)

At the same time I was writing articles for blogs for petty cash.

Luckily for me, I got an idea and help from someone I cherish, love and appreciate a lot (Tega Enai of fab-innovation) and that was it.

Though I still haven't gotten the desired result, I can confidently tell you I'm on the right track.

2. I kept Believing in God and Myself

If you have followed my writings for a long time, you would know I don't underestimate the influence of the spiritual world on the physical life.

I always said in my write-up that you should hold on to your faith and whatever you believe.

As for me, I'm a born-again Christian and I believe in Christ Jesus the Son of God. Hence, I kept my trust in God and I believe in my ability and skill-set.

Going through trying times can be challenging and overwhelming, but there is this joy, believe, confidence and comfort you derive in God.

You just see yourself believing everything will be right. That was what I did and God actually intervened.

3. Working Hard

Like my role model, Tega Enai, always say, just as written in the Bible, "Faith without work is nothing"

My pastor, Ben Musa, also shares the same belief and he keeps telling his members to "be diligent and hard-working in whatever we do"

These are two important people in my life that has so much cherish and follow their advice.

Therefore, I put in lots of work. It is what you do that the Lord will bless not what you don't have.

At a point, I was actually laboring not working because my pay doesn't justify the work I did.

Luckily, things are getting great and I feel like the better days are not far away.

I think you too should do the same. It's simple! just watch (work) and pray (Faith)

4. Humility

I always say "I'm the most humble guy on earth" I don't know if that's true, but I'm sure I am very humble —probably because of my introvert nature (maybe).

I was humble and ready to accept and correct my mistakes. I equally learn from them because that's just the way to improve in life.

We are human; we are prone to mistakes but our reaction to every error determines who we truly are.

Don't hesitate to admit your faults and move on. No one is perfect but you can learn to be 70% error-free .

Conclusion

Remember what you are passing through right now some have experienced the same thing and they came out victorious.

You too can do this, I trust God to help you. I trust in your superhuman ability to push through.

Don't forget many people are really counting on you. Don't see them as burdens; instead, see them as source of motivation.

Meanwhile, you need to be happy during this critical period of your life.

I advise you go check my fully-loaded and educative write-up on the things you must ignore to be happy.
