Alex Iwobi, the Hale End
academy product, broke into
the gunners first team at the
age of 19 when he made his
debut in a League Cup
encounter against Sheffield
Wednesday which ended 3-0 in
their defeat.


Though the Nigerian had
featured in less competitive
matches, the youngster wasn’t
rated by many Arsenal fans
until he made his full
Champions League debut
against Barcelona.


Eyebrows were raised when

when the Toffees hired former
Chelsea and Real Madrid
manager Carlo Ancelotti as
manager in December.


Ancelotti was quick to reinstall
the player back to the starting
lineup after he recovered from
his hamstring injury but he
didn’t really justify the
manager’s faith and he was
eventually dropped to the
bench yet again.

Has the 24-year- old ran out of
time to prove his worth to the
club’s fans and executives?
Definitely not, but he surely
needs to up his game as soon
as possible if he must reach
his full potentials for the team
and the Super Eagles of
