@ Chuckss, u know talk about HITV u are so correct. i somtimes wonder if we Nigerians have no sense of entertainment! but we seem to know good stuffs and get hooked on it easily but when it comes to creating good entertainment we make a complete mess of it. in this day and time u'll wonder why our local stations are hell bent on being so stereotyped and remain clueless!!!

TV/MoviesDstv Anti-Nigerian Promotions: Real Or Paranoid? by IceAngel2(op): 10:57pm On Sep 12, 2009
Despite the huge patronage of of DSTV/NMET by Nigerians, this South African television company seem to be shunning Nigeria in terms of promotions. Have you noticed whenever that there is a customer scheme promo its always for the South African audience? believe it or not Nigeria is a huge market for this South African company, so what the F,  is going on? its almost like they simply provide their service, take our money and completely shun us afterwards. Am i being paranoid or are Nigerians simply unaware of this seemingly under-the-raider-arrogance of a foriegn investor who is obviously attaining great success in the Nigeria economy?

what do you'll think?

FashionRe: Is Looking Good, Related To Pride? by IceAngel2(f): 12:56am On Sep 09, 2009
looking good is good business and has nothing to do with pride. the way you look and dress is a reflection of how much you appreciate yourself. if you dont appreciate yourself enough chances are that you will unconsciously dress in order to get lost in the crowd. if you take yourself too seriously chances are that you will be unneccessarily careful when you dress and might lose the point. best thing is to look the best that makes you happy and dont care whatever anyone else thinks. come to think of it if you cant have control over what goes on YOUR OWN body and love it, then u got soemthing to deal with. if people dont like how you dress the good for them because its your body not theirs.

FashionRe: Women Shun Comfort For Foot Fashion: by IceAngel2(f): 12:39am On Sep 09, 2009
your note was too long for me to read all of it but as per the subject of women shuning comfort for foot fashion, shocked if you fall inlove you can see no wrong! same thing applies when it comes to shoes. if you see a pair shoe that calls your name, what else can you do but answer even if it means going limping for the next couple of days each time you wear it? i even deviced means of managing such harzards; take a along with you a comfy slipper so you wear that in the car and as soon as you want to step out of the car, u put the lovely-painful shoes right back on!!! 'sides there will always be health reasons why one shouldnt do a thing! so wat we talking abot lol

FashionRe: Is It Fashion For A Guy To Braid His Hair. Your Views: by IceAngel2(f): 12:26am On Sep 09, 2009
First you have to understand what fashionable is. I guy that braids his hair first and foremost states he's got some character, charm, fun, mystery and personality. Have you seen a guy with braided hair/dread wearing a suit or seating behind an executive seat or in a meeting with other stucked up men? well that guy will turn me on in a second anyday.

my fiance braids his hair and i love mothing more than running my fingers through his cornrow. ofcourse i dont mean every guy should go on braids, only a selected few can rock it and do they rock it when they do lol.

so i gues am saying YES YES YES it is FASHIONABLE and definitely SEXY for a guy to braid his hair!!!!

Akins4, u shuldnt be told that you dont even count enuf for your judgement of icons like Micheal Jackson and Beyonce. If you can even begin to understand the achievement these people have and how they have affected their generation, then you might do urself some help. by the way Akins4, how have you affected the lives of those in your compound/street that you live in, how have you affected your family/workplace or school? if you cant count the positive thing you have done around your immidiate comunity pls, you will do well to shut up and dont spread your stupidity and ignorance any further. elejowewe oshi!!!
EventsRe: Is N75,000 Not Too Much For A Wedding Gown? by IceAngel2(f): 9:43pm On Jun 07, 2009
you've got to de kidding me!!! N75,000? huh NO Its not too much, if u can afford a wedding gown of N1m then u had better buy a 1m wedding gown. u've got to be a guy cos i dont see any lady who would think 75,000 is too much to wear for one of the happiest day of her life!

If u cant afford it then u dont have to rob a bank though. it all comes down to what is affordable to d individual.

parties or dance floors are one of many places you meet the opposite sex. whats wrong with a lady dancing on the dance floor? if a lady can marry a guy she meets on the dance floor; whats wrong with a guy marrying a lady he meets at the dance floor? atleast he gets to know if she can dance or not lol

FamilyRe: Ever Lost Someone As Dear As Family? Come Light A Candle For Them Here by IceAngel2(f): 5:10pm On Jun 06, 2009
A candle for my dear Daddy who passed away 5th May 2008. words cant express the emotions one feel at the loss of a loved one. i encourage myself, my family and everyone who has lost a loved one with these words;

Death can not be this final because the thought that this finallity is real and indeed the end makes this life meaningless. Because life is not meaningless, then death is only a transition to another realm of living, therefore in time we will all meet again.
FamilyIs There Hope For Increased Adoption Consideration In Nigeria? by IceAngel2(op): 4:44pm On Jun 06, 2009
this question is in 2 parts:
A. As a couple expiriencing delayed conception; would you consider adoption whilst waiting to concieve or would you rather not think about at all as an option?

B. As a couple with kids of your own but with enough love and stability to give to yet another child; would you consider adoption or is it just not an African thing to adopt?
