Akiika:
Is your community business friendly? Most of the youths and community wrapper tying elders are militants that lay siege at offices of companies to demand unfair payments for no services rendered. The present government have popularized militancy to be very lucrative that nobody wishes to work. Think deeply and you'll agree that this is in fact the inconvenient truth.
im not gonna diginify your ignoramus comments with a response. My community is not business friendly but its good enough to give people a senatorial ticket?
PoliticsRe: Ben Murray-Bruce Wins PDP Bayelsa East Senatorial by icedbreez(m): 3:43pm On Dec 08, 2014
Mr Bruce if u like carry our mandate go represent lagos state.
I dont like you, never have. You are a mega businessman employing thousands of staff but never from your home state. When its convenient for you, you claim bayelsa to contest for Governor and the Senate but when its time to open new radio stations, TV stations and SilverBird Galleria you go to everywhere except Yenagoa.
All your family non resides in Yenagoa non do business here and our people are roaming the streets while you do the "Big Car Owner" in lagos, If oga Dokpesi that is not even from here can Open a Radio Station RayPower and TV station AIT to bring the news to us and also employ our people then there is no challenge stopping you that you can tell me. You remember bayelsa state only when there is Election or a Govt Contract to be had. I repeat I dont like you and your saving grace is the fact there is no APC in Bayelsa state if not there is nothing that would have given me greater joy than to see you fail in the general elections.

Come with USD, it is acceptable here even taxis collects it.

When you arrive then you can go to UAE Exchange or the likes and change to dirhams.

No cause for Alarm just come with Dollars and you will be fine.
The AED/Naira exchange rate left me scratching my head for days. Naira falling like stone in water while dirham and dollar be climbing like a fighter jet. #Psss

BabaTony:
Yes that is true, when we say the akwa ibom ppl are the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria its not a joke. We are everywhere in Nigeria, are we not nigerians again? Just as you have other large ethnic groups in every nook and crany of Nigeria so do we also have the 4th largest ethnic group everywhere so cool down its normal. Don't join haters in trying to put a good and blessed people down. Don't you see Americans or Europeans in other countries? Akwa ibom ppl are as free as air to live anywhere in the world they want to live. Abi when you visited aks didn't you see ppl of other tribes there?
Bros pls STOP taking wateva u re taking....it ll stop u from hallucinating. Its a well known fact that the IJAWS re the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria.
Akwa Ibom people migrate to live in several states does not make them fourth largest.
the ijaws are part owners and indigenous to FOUR STATES in Nigeria namely Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Ondo states. U ll find ijaws in all these states and off course I cant count the number of other states ijaws have migrated to in oder to work, school and trade like your Akwa ibom people so please dont confuse issues.
If the ijaws re settled in one location they would be competing with the ibos in terms of Population because the Ibos have only Five states altogether.

Offcourse you have to obey laws where you find them but situations where you dont know the laws as a tourist it becomes a nightmare if you re caught.
For instance is it ok to take photos in religious places like the Jumeirah Mosque? and places like the the Metro and the Jumeirah Museum?

monchouchou:
I can't really say much about that case because I have not read about it. There are some religious places in Nigeria where you can't wear slippers or take pictures. Its the same here. There are signs and warning in some places warning against such. Again they don't allow photographs to be taken of their women anyhow. So its possible he took pictures of them without their consent.

I take about 5 selfies a day grin grin and I haven't been arrested yet. I also take photos of various places and I have not been stopped. You just have to obey rules and regulations where you find them.
TravelRe: QATAR And UAE General Visa Enquiries by icedbreez(m): 7:48pm On Nov 04, 2014
Just over the news now CNN reporting that a 70 years old American was arrested in the UAE for photography in off limit place....
This is scary. For those living over there in dubai, this does suggest you could be arrested for a selfie or taking photos?

Bro u re in a tough place sha. Life must be a mystery for you being a slave to Tinubu and all.
sorry dear, if you manage to raise your head from kissing is anus long enough you ll notice this is 2014. Servant/ Master era is long gone.
I dont fancy Tinubu automatically makes me a target for u to attack. Eyahhhh. Sorry bro.
Must be a tough life for u.
To prove to u am not a tribalistic person while I dont like Tinubu's leadership style I actually do admire Fashola who incidentlly is from same region as Tinubu.

Muscomide:
You are damn right, I'm bitter, my flat headed friend. Bitter at folk like you who only see things from the distorted prism of tribe and region. If you have nothing good to say about Tinubu's return to Nigeria, then stfu!

This decision is to stop some unscrupulous elements who re waiting after the election to take GEJ to court claiming that Primaries did not take place in PDP so as to nullify the President's reelection.
Them don fail...the field is open now, you are free to go and throw away your N22m pronto.
God is on our side, GEJ is always one step ahead of the Plotters.

You sound very bitter. Tinubu must be responsible for the bread on your children's table.
well, he's not responsible for my own daily bread and when you finish hero worshipping him you ll look for a job to do. The fact I dont bow and kiss his ring doesn't make me a tribalist. Its infact little minds like you that will probably fight and kill for him that is tribalist and ended up creating the Monster or "god" that tinubu is now.. we re in the 21st century bro. Not in the era of slavery or serfdoms.

Muscomide:
Bigoted tribalist like you! I bet you benefit from "living and working in the south west. What are you doing on Nairaland anyway? It is owned by Seun Osewa, a Yoruba from the same South-west you denigrate. Whether you like it or not, Tinubu is a Yoruba hero and indeed a true Nigerian hero. Any man who is instrumental in the formation of a viable opposition to this inept PDP government headed by an equally inept, clueless and divisive President is a personal hero of mine. Without this man's wile and guile, the all-powerful PDP led Federal Government would ride roughshod over us all.

Evidently, this man is a selfless patriot who loves Nigeria and has decided to return home to coordinate the opposition as we approach what will be crucial elections for Nigeria, despite his failing health.

So you know what to do if you are not happy with this piece of news, either wind your neck in or crawl back into the rat infested hole from whence you've come.

Thanks Man, it sucks that it then means using the Ethihad option that a brother cant see the famed Dubai intl airport.
Anyways the arrangement is fair enough. 2k USD for me and my wife for just a 4nights 5days stay is much oh...guy, this is just spending money oh. Flight and hotel not included. Was thinking that 200k naira which is just a little above 1k USD would be enough for sightseeing and tour and entry tickets etc....the 4* Hotel is already breakfast included.
kelvin4jesu]
ethihad only operates and they have landing permit in abu dhabi only if you are going from Nigeria they will fly you straight to abu dhabi and convey you with a nice comfortable road transportation system to dubai is about 1hr drive then if you are returning back you will take a taxi from your hotel to their office pls tell the taxi to take you to ethihad office CLOCK TOWER DUBAI. you will check in there and still be conveyed on a good road trip to abu dhabi to board and fly
the BTA is small make it 2000 usd for 2[/quote]
TravelRe: QATAR And UAE General Visa Enquiries by icedbreez(m): 10:30pm On Aug 27, 2014
Pls if Ethiad drops passengers in Abu Dhabi instead of Dubai and ferry passengers to dubai.
what about on the return trip, re they going to pick you up at your hotel and drive you back to Abu Dhabi to board your return flight or the return flight is from Dubai airport?
Will $1000 be enough spending money for 2persons 5days stay? Plus whats BTA?
I intend travelling there for Tourism soon.

Sunofgod: No wahala . . . .

Tune back in 2moro morning and you'l hear that the military have handed their weapons to Boko Haram and fled . . .
its a shame that Nigerians always celebrate the exploits of Boko Haram and never the Heroism of our Military....in other countries every citizen supports their soldiers to overcome any aggression but in Nigeria the Journalists only report news of BH sacking and burning down a whole village but when the army attacks and overcome them the bravery of our men and women in uniform are never celebrated. How do you think the moral of these people will be. Next thing they start calling Jonathan. Every single Nigerian should look INWARDS at himself and say what am I doing to HELP this country and not be CRITICISING eveything and everybody....thats the way to grow as a nation....SUPPORT.
