aadetoyin, I got to UAE yesterday and got my du sim card for just 10aed. They only asked of passport and visa. I bought it at al ma something something (I will edit when I go out again today). They have two shops here in deira, and none asked for emirate card.

Here is the deal, for someone like me spending less than 6days, knowing I need less than $1000 as BTA, the maximum banks give is $4000. So I get someone who borrows me the equivalent of $3000, then head to the bank and change it at official 375 naira, then sell the $3000 at aboki at 460, then return the money to the owner with little profit of course. Your profit alone is like 240k.
So tell me is it illegal

About passing Naija immigration,I didn't have up to $1k BTA, but unfortunately I can't offer a DIY advice because I didn't do it myself. A distant uncle contacted his friend that works with immigration. The staff took me from the gate till I boarded the aircraft. Na only the NDLEA woman wey no gree accept story. So we gave her N1k.

I don't know if it is illegal, but for peeps with low bta, there are lots of Nigerians looking to buy dollars at 375 official rate. If you could do a deal with them or borrow from somebody and change it back to naira later. I hope it's legal

My brother, the initial plan was just for me to disvirgin my passport. Because America and Canada where I have my eyes usually ask of travel history. So the agent went ahead with the visa and flight payment. Only for me to search for cheap places I can hang out in dubai and I stumbled on this thread. A little too late. So instead of moving round hunting for babes (initial plan), lemme use the time and hunt for job and hope for the best

Thank you sir, although I am staying for just 5days , I intend to maximise my 5 days. Although it may seem an uphill task to achieve in 5days, I have started applying to those jobs posted in previous pages and I am always quick to mention when I will b around. Don't dismiss me, I believe in miracles. I have readied my 16 passport photographs plus different variations of my cv. I also pray to see a walk in interview during my short stay. Do u believe it's achievable in 5days...!!! Give me some hope
