Doomsday entrepreneur Larry Hall has spent years building the ultimate in survival hideaways and gave Sky News special access to his completed complex.
Mr Hall has installed his 'survival condos' in converted nuclear missile silos. Built in the cold war in the Kansas countryside they are 200 feet deep with walls of reinforced concrete nine feet thick. Some 70 people could live for more than five years in the complex supplied with its own electricity, water and stored food. One part of the silo has sold out already. The other part that is stil under construction will be going for $3.1m (£2m) a floor.

For no other reason but this, Solidstar has risen to the first page of my all time awesome Nigerian musicians, the sensational singer took out time out of his ever busy Christmas schedule to spend sometime with less privileged widows and distributing bags of rice and gallons of oil to them, so they can have a positive feeling of Christmas.

I am taking it "P" right?, yeah I know, but speak to me when another musician does better, it's not about gaining cheap publicity by going to schools and taking pictures with students and impacting nothing on their lives, it's about giving back to that society that made you all you are today. You know Solidstar is far from being called "A super-rich musician", but he "paid his dues".

Solidstar went for the distribution alongside a few of his labelmates and took to Instagram to share the pictures with a comment

In a documentary with BT Sport that will be aired on 26th December, the former Manchester Utd manager jokingly complained that it's unfair that Mourinho has it all; not just managerial brilliance but also good looks and multilingual.

"It is unfair really," Ferguson told Clare Balding during the interview.

Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang has named Yakubu Jang, his son, the new Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning of Plateau State.

The Plateau State Commissioner for Information Mr. Mohammed Abubakar disclosed this information stating that Yakubu will replace Mr. Yilji Gomwalk, a running mate for PDP gubernatorial flag bearer( Mr. Gyang Pwajok) for 2015 elections.


Yakubu Jang was the governor's special adviser on special duties before his new appointment. Information commissioner, Abubakar welcomed the development noting that the governor has numerous achievements in the state, so he respects his judgements.

What are blackheads?
The US Library of Medicine describes blackheads as small, dark spots on the skin, caused by a small blockage in the opening of a pore (follicle).
Blackheads are said to be the first stage of acne. They form before bacteria invade the pores of the patient's skin. A blackhead can develop into a pimple, which is also known as a papule or pustule.
Blackheads and acne in general usually develop after the onset of puberty, when hormone levels surge and reach the skin. Certain hormones overstimulate the sebaceous glands, resulting in the overproduction of sebum.
Sebum is designed to lubricate the hair and skin and usually drains out of the pore opening on the surface. Sometimes the sebum becomes blocked and bacteria begin to accumulate. If the buildup of bacteria and sebum has no opening to the surface of the skin it is called a whitehead. A blackhead forms if the pore opens to the surface allowing air to enter.
Sebum contains melanin, a pigment. It is the same substance that gives skin its color. Melanin turns dark (oxidizes) when exposed to air. That is why blackheads are dark. The dark color does not mean they are dirty, and scrubbing does not remove them.
Several conditions and circumstances can cause blackheads, or make them worse, such as the use of topical oils and make up.
Blackheads can affect people with any type of skin, but are generally more common in those with oily skin.

What are the causes of blackheads?
Blackheads are typically caused by the overproduction of oil, which tends to occur when a person reaches puberty.
Spikes in hormone production can result in the high levels of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a hormone which triggers overactivity in the oil glands, resulting in clogged pores.

Skin hygiene and blackheads - a myth
Many people believe that if your skin is not cleaned properly more blackheads can appear, especially during periods of fluctuating hormone levels such as puberty or just before menstruation.
Scientists and doctors say this a myth. The National Health Service in the UK explains that most biological reactions that trigger acne do not occur on the surface of the skin, but beneath it.
"You should wash every day and wash your face twice a day. More frequent washing will make no difference to your acne and could make symptoms worse by aggravating your skin."
In some cases, blackheads can emerge if moisturizers, sun screens, make up, or foundations are overused and irritate the skin.
In the majority of cases, blackhead susceptibility is not heredity, with the exception of some severe acnes.

Food does not cause acne
Although parents and grandparents commonly tell their teenage offspring not to eat chocolates and greasy foods because they think they encourage the formation of acne, they do not cause blackheads or make them worse.
Some studies have pointed towards a link between some dairy products and acne, but the evidence is not compelling.

Stress
Stress does not directly affect blackhead occurrence. However, stress and anxiety can cause people to pick at their blackheads and acne, which may irritate the skin.

Atleast 11 people were injured after a man heard shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is greatest) drove his car into crowds of people.
The rampage lasted for over half an hour in the eastern city of Dijon, France. This comes a day after another man, who was also shouting "Allahu Akbar", stabbed three cops in the Joue-les-Tours.

When we think we've seen it all something comes around to stir our reality. This mysterious creature pictured above was discovered on a beach in Santa Barbara after the most recent storm hit the area.
The hairless creature has sharp claws, pointy teeth and brownish in color. No one has been able to identify the species of animal this is.

Few days ago, It was also reported in most news sites in Nigeria about a mysterious fish-like animal that was washed up the shores of Eleko beach in Lagos but unlike the Americans, our naija people brought out their cutlasses and started sharing the meat from the corpse like they're sharing the national cake.

Disturbing breaking news have it that at least 120 people, mostly children, have been killed in a deadly assault by Taliban forces in an Army-run school in a Peshawar city of Pakistan in an attack that started at 10:00 local time (05:00 GMT)
Taliban terrorists wearing security uniforms numbering about five or six entered the school and reported opened fire, explosions have also been reported to have been heard in the facility. Many of the casualties are believed to have died by a suicide blast.

Pakistani army says about 500 students of the school have been evacuated, while stating that it is still unclear how many people that are still being held hostage. Though unconfirmed reports have it that over 400 people are being held hostage

It has also been reported that the Taliban has openly claimed responsibility of the attack, Taliban spokesman as reported, says the assault is in response to army operations, as it is believed that hundreds of Taliban fighters have died in a recent military offensive by Pakistani forces in North Waziristan and the nearby Khyber area.

A male employee and two male customers fled the hostage scene shortly before 3.45pm via a fire exit, and two young female employees, including barrister Elly Chen, ran out another door just before 5pm, this development is said to have made the gunman to become 'extremely agitated' after the five hostages escaped his watch.

The hostages have been held captive in the Sydney cafe since the armed man walked into the cafe at 9.45am and has kept around 10 people, including staff and customers hostage.

Some crying women were forced to hold a black Shahada flag up in the window, as the Gunman shout that there is no God but Allah only.
