I also noticed sometimes when i visit my in-laws and their girls/ladies are gisting about relationship, it is always about discussing how rich the guy is, the type of car he is using, the nature of his job - ohhh he is working with NNPC, CBN, Mobil, Chevron etc, he is staying in a duplex, he is this, he is that, none is talking about character, humbleness, religious etc
So a girl earning 150k/month will be looking down on a man earning the same 150k per month.... na wa oooo
I also do experience this a lot. I do meet ladies 2m/year which is an average of 180k per month with overbogus egos looking down on me when i even earn more than 4 times their salary a year but somehow, somewhere they believe they can't respect me or settle down with me or am not in their level. Why? because they are using more than 50% of their income to buy make-ups, clothes etc to look very hot so as to attract multi-millionaires or if possible a billionaire.It is a crazy world out there.
Then you start wondering how a lady earning 5m or 10m per year will look at me, like a plague or disease
