HOW ZENITH ALMOST TOOK ALL OF MY PROFIT FROM TRANSCORP AND OANDO
On 30th May, I remember buying 350,000 units of zenith bank at 26.2 because I thought the bull was around, more so that diamond, fidelity, fcmb and transcorp (among others) went on a sudden full bid. Minutes later, the bulls started losing strength so I immediately sold all the units at 26.10. At that point I was pained because of the loss and the broker's fees which all came up to almost 210,000 loss in just a few minutes.
Looking back now at the price of zenith bank(25.50) today, I have no regrets. I would have lost more than the dividend would have given me. I even think I can get it at 24.

There was a time I noticed DS was always trading around 21 when the market opens and touches 22 levels before close of trade at least three times in a week.

I started thinking of buying and selling everyday at 2% gain excluding charges. If I can get it right 5 times, and in less than two weeks, I would have hit my 10% target.

It was the mental and physical stress that put me off.

Before countdown, make sure Peter is not in any of your stocks. Else, you go count down enter another financial year and result go still hang with CBN or NAICOM (as the case may be).

There are point where TA and FA meets.

Where TA charts show continued sell, the FA guy will snap it up from them and the chart changes again.

The FA will hit big and wait while the TA will bring in the momentum/randomised movement.

I have since realised that, if I sold after every 10% increase or loss, I stand to make more gains than losses.

To sell after the 10% self na the problem, I start looking at the possibility of 20 or 30 and sometimes, the stock reverses and I'm scrambling for safety
