I received a call from NIPOST today telling me that my package has arrived and I would need to part with 3,500

Price of your item(s) doesn't determine the handling fees to be paid on NIPOST, weight of item & location are the determinants, but in all i think #3,500k is much, ask around for people that have recently purchased within your location & know whether its same or they're trying to reap you off

I think they do have range of handling fee measured by weight, i paid #500 for a 1.5kg item few months ago & #200 for a 0.17kg item last month, location is Onitsha(Anambra State, in all i think #3,500 is just too much no matter the location

If you have been following the whole drama right from inception, you should have known by now that this government has one major objective in mind – reducing importations to the barest minimum.

So, the persistent rise in the value of dollar as against the naira is just it's means of achieving that goal –discourage people from importation.

One can't close an existing door without a back up plan, if a sane country is doing something like this or more like even high tax on imported goods etc to reduce importation while giving out loans to smaller companies, creating more jobs, encouraging & supporting local productions, increasing exportation rate etc, in the short term people will have a little hard time, but in the long run, it'll be a huge step up, it'll be understandable, take a look at innoson, ibeto & other firms trying to make it big, na the government wy suppose help them dy even suppress them sef, i no even wan open Aba production page, that's another story for another day & many more, this government no carry interest of citizens at heart at all at all

May God help us, situation of things is really getting outta control, its high time Nigerians wake up & do the needful o, they are dying slowly each hour, each day!

Give it a try, it should work, since it's going to be a one-off payment. But ensure that he doesn't pre-add the card but to try using it at check-out point, bearing in mind all associated transaction charges.

Note that subsequent use of the card by your friend could lead security issue which could lead to it being stopped from working by AliExpress.....

That platform is more sensitive to payment cards in recent times

Okay, i have no problem of trust sharing details, my major concern is if Aliexpress will decline my payments later in the future or anything related to that if the card is being used on two accounts

PS: He wants to enjoy welcome deal/new user bonus on his first order without paying for card fee & later on any of us can fund & use the card just mainly for Aliexpress orders, i'm willing to do that but why i want to ask before embarking on it is if it'll affect me placing my orders later in the future, i'll quit the idea entirely

Use your account to place the order for him
Make his address as the default shipping address
Add his phone number, state, zip code, local government etc
It will be delivered to him
You don't need to give him your card details or use his account.
I have ordered for 10 people like that in the past few weeks with my virtual dollar card

Thanks for your response, i understand i can use mine to place the order for him, he wants to enjoy the new user/welcome deal package on his first order, once one card can be used on multiple Aliexpress account without problems, i have no issue there, my main concern is whether Aliexpress will disable the card once its used on two different accounts

Hello guys, i really want to help a good friend of mine but i'm afraid if it will lead to a future security problem(s)

He just recently created an Account on Aliexpress & want to make an order but the card creation fee was really a turn off for him, he asked if he could use mine, fund it & add to his Aliexpress account & pay for his order, i'm willing to give him my Dollar card details, username & passwords, but before i do that, i want to ask if there are any security implications regarding this OR should i go ahead & give him my details as i asked him to wait that i'll get back to him later

Not yet, but i'm going for the Soundcore Life P2 mini, in as much as it doesn't have app support but it has more bass for bass heads like me & its more readily available & has gathered more fans & praises more than others from my research

I don't know how much it is to create a Pink Card now as i already have it(I started using it earlier this year when it was free to create & fund) but the Black Card should be around $3.5 to create, $1.5 funding fee, $1 Monthly maintenance as they stated Current rate for funding pink card is #1022/$
For withdrawal, it is around #985/$

Make sure to chat customer care if you have more questions or need more clarification, only fund your card with what you want to use at the moment & try & check other virtual dollar card vendors like bitnob, bitmama, chipper cash, grey etc..i don't know anything about them, but their names always pop up on this thread a lot, make your research, compare & contrast very well & choose the one that's best for you

I wonder how guys especially students that do mini importation as side hustle & hustling small scale business guys do keep up with this kinda exchange rate, the last time i bought something on Aliexpress was at rate of #931/$, now i wanted to purchase something recently, after doing the maths, i just had to withdraw my money from my dollar card to my wallet & to my bank account, honestly it's not worth it again, over #1k/$? I know, my notification is on bro, i always get their messages, i saw their 72hr maintenance service on pink card & other stuffs, but i have made this card top up say 5 hrs before the message popped up, my problem currently is for them to reverse the money back to my wallet since it didn't go through & i will then withdraw to my bank
