I can comfortably buy this phone despite being an MTK device and sleep with both eyes closed.

...Xiaomi came to the rescue. Still fast, smooth and fluid after months of use. Same speed as it were on the first day. Unlike transsion products that'll reduce processing speed after months of use.

I believe every modern phone made today is more waterproof than their removable battery cousins of the yesteryears. A brief dunk in water or lugging it around during rainfall, and it should be just fine. Even without p2i coating.

But because of Transsions deal blood covenant in which it seemingly sold it's soul to mediocrity, I cannot speak for it.

All transsion phones are water resistant. Transsion don't make noise over specs, that's why they never mentioned it.

I remember when I would always take my old Infinix hot for swimming. Those underwater pictures were so sharp and crisp.

I won't even mention note 4 pro, that phone stayed in my bath tub for 3 hours before I remembered I left it there. Well, I brought it out, wiped it with a dry cloth and nothing happened to it.

Now that I've gotten your attention, tell the OP to prepare for that crap's funeral. I'll donate canopy and chairs.
