Igboid: So many misinformation here.
Abacha is not owned by Enugu people. Other Igbos have been preparing Abacha their own way since Cassava was introduced into Igboland. Enugu method of preparing Abacha is just more popular in Igboland.
Oha is not Anambra soup, it's an Igbo soup and again every part of Igboland have their own distinct method of preparing it.
Why exactly are these realities hard for peeps to deal with?
There are dishes typical to parts of Igboland and we know them . For example, Ofe Achara and Egwusi akpuru akpu is a typical Abia state/Umuahia soup.
Ukazi soup seem to be Abia /Imo state soup
Ofe Awa is Nkanu/Enugu soup
Ofe Nsala is Anambra/Enuani soup Yes , these dishes had spread across Igbo land but it didnt just simultaneously originated from everywhere same time. Ora ,ofe akwu, Onugbu and Nsala are ofe ogili and ogili is strictly an Anambra ingredient. Also , isi ewu and nkwobi is delicacy that originated from a certain ceremony in Anambra. I know you want to unite your Igbo nation but you must not discredit people to do that. |

pocohantas: So you mean things are not greener for Theconglomerate? He takes such personal though. I dont get mixed up with people financial welfare...not my business and I dont know him. But , why do women always use money to berate a man even when you know little of his financial capabilities. Very uncivilized and Nigerian, of course Secondly , assume the guy tried to ask you out what is wrong with that. Even if you dont want to hang why are you bringing it here for us to read ? Bear in mind, just because a man asked you out and you refused for whatever reason doesnt mean you are of a higher standard. He is probably more good looking , richer and better behaved than the guy wey dey shagg you...food for thought. |

pocohantas: Ngwa men restrict their attitude to Abia state. From close encounter, Abiriba men are even more venomous than Ngwa men. Ngwa people are just unnecessarily loud and they have number.
Imo men are closely behind Anambra men in supremacist mindset. Mbaise, Mbano, Orlu, Obowo...another dangerous set. However, they also do well to keep their madness inside.
Now to your brothers, never. Anambra men are not supremacist but our culture is very powerful and dominating. Anambra men also are highly successful and confident. Your hate for Anambra has a different source. |

Anambra people will choke the rest of SE states with their oversabi and supremacist mindset. Always acting like their way is the perfect and only way. Everywhere they enter, you must know they are there!! Jeez! This is not new to us. You people with your inferiority mindset have said worse things about us yet we house more non Anambra Igbo than any state in the east. You ungrateful.... |

It now adds up why you feel bruised. You are not used to ladies not hopping into your Benz.
Very trashy behaviour. Are you trying to shame him or what ? If he had ended up shagging you , you would be here spewing nonsense. |

pocohantas: Correction on what? 1- Ogiri is optional and remains optional. There are diverse people reading this post and the choice to use it is theirs.
2- Oha is better shredded. However, nothing will happen if you cut with knife. It is right there in the post.
What correction am I supposed to take, considering I shredded my oha, used cocoyam and your darling ogiri.
Something is fundamentally wrong with you. I hope you get the needed medical attention soon. You are not from Anambra and you will never be an authority in deciding how we make our food. As an outsider , you try be a little humble. Ogili is the soul of Anambra dishes. You can say you dont cook our Anambra dish with ogili and stop right there. Food is part of Anambra culture and we protect even a rotten goat from Anambra. By the way , why are you hidding your state of origin but quick to call us supremacists ? You Igbo call your Anambra Igbos money ritualists, illiterates , drug pushers but at every turn you are enjoying and consuming our cultures pocohantas Cc. |

pocohantas: So many Igbo tribes do not use ogiri!! In fact, the people that carry it for head are Anambra people.
Ask around. I will try and educate you again , today. Dear , lady , Ora soup , Nsala , Onugbu are all Anambra soup and can only be cooked with ede(the potent thickner). Therefore, its wrong to say ''people that carry it for head are Anambra people" because these dishes were invented by our industrious women who made good dishes with vital nutrients. The result, Anambra men are very tall ...go figure. Anyways, I guess we are all supremacists My point is that you should respect the people that introduced these dishes |

It is that hard to zoom the said image and verify the street names? That's what they do, they go about spreading lies, propaganda, and deceive people with their carefully selected images that are not up to a local gov in their region. That's how they made us believed there is no poverty, brow roofs in iboland, but, thank God for the interment. Here, the zoom-in view of the said image, below. g You are shamelessly insecure! You are posting pictures of Enugu in an Anambra thread to achieve what , exactly ? |

Theevilone: This is a unizik student lodge in Amansea owned by the Catholic church , the development in that amnsea area is mind blowing .
Is easy to understand why anambra is among the most developed states in Nigeria, practically every town in anambra can boast of development except those riverine areas of Nzam and co. It will surprise people to know that villages in anambra has more road network than the major towns most especially Aguata and Aniocha, the likes of Alor Ngige's town, Agulu peter obi's town and I Nneni can't be left out Tonimas single handedly tared almost the whole community roads axcept state roads.
The smallest but mightiest town within that area is Oraukwu, that very small town look more like GRA, u hardly see old building there, am not surprised that Ejison and CEO fireman generator is from there.
Anambra might not have airport and seaport but the area of development covered in anambra is a factor. Awka Etiti is more developed and richer than Oraukwu. Umuoji is also bigger and boast of more wealthy people than Oraukwu. Cc. Theevilone |

mktinsight: What is 1 million monthly? I was making that at the age of 26. There are few companies that build runways and their top engineers are paid over 200,000 usd tax free or 6 million per month. What you are paying for is knowhow not concrete and there is a reason Nigerians can't even boast of simple water system something oyibo built over 100 years ago.
My concern is let's get things right than empty bravado. Big projects are not cheap. Skills are not cheapm Obianos problem is he takes shortcuts like an African tinpot dictator. You are too far from reality. |
