For the record, I grew up developing my belief system. As a child, I would read any book I see.
I believe so Strongly in them, not because I was taught by anyone but I sought the truth by myself.

At the age of 14, I stopped going to church solely because of my belief system for about a year.

At the age of 16, I found a church that talked the way I talk, and believed what I believe. ^{today there are other churches that believe same though.}

I eventually joined them at the age of 18, and am grateful I did.

As many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. What areas in our lives is the spirit of God restricted from leading us? My sheep hear my voice... In what aspects of our lives. God will not jump to marriage to lead you when you've not cultivated listening to Him in other decisions you had to take.

I always believed that God is perfect - almighty and all knowing, and He neither lies nor errs. He is perfect and his word is true and final. But I struggled for a long time with some scriptures in the old Testament, especially ones that seem to portray God's ethical failings and the sickening gory details of some of the rites and rituals. The new Testament, though, seem to fix a lot of these initial issues.

But my question is if God is perfect, why do we need two testaments - one to fix fulfill the other?

For me anyone who sees christianity as a Religion is yet to understand either the word christianity or know who Christ is and why He came.

Christ didn't come all the way to give us another region when there were many religions already on earth.

I don't wake up in the morning to pray because I was commanded to. Rather I pray because I need to talk to my Maker(My Source, and Father). Just like talking to my earthly parent is normal, talking to my source is normal; just a way of life.

Anyone connecting to his source following some set of commands and instructions is religious.
