Odunharry: I will try as much as possible to be honest with you guys.. I will advice you leave for Kwara state a day to camp so atleast you can be assured of early registration, bed space, avoid the never ending queue etc.
Yikpata is in Edu local govt of Kwara state and it about an hour plus ride from ilorin.. Concerning camp facilities, I will say it Ok but not the best..There is water supply mainly in the morning and night and atimes in the afternoon when Corp members are on parade ground.. Electricity supply is fair also..The weather is damn hot here in Kwara state.. I'm sure you guys have read many stories about camp food generally in Nigeria.. if you want the best, come to camp with enough cash also. Before I talk about Posting to place of primary assignment but befre that I will advice never to bring too much loads to camp cos you will be given what we call 7 over 7 and also an extra pair of white shoes..
RELOCATION ISHH. relocation is done in camp and also three month into ur service year. For those that will love to relocate to place of ur choice, it's advisable you get the necessary documents and apply for relocation on time via your platoon officers or you go directly to the people in charge and submit the necessary documents For married women, once you can provide proof that u are married, then you will be relocated to the state where your husband is based.. For those who will be applying on medical grounds, get a medical report from a government hospital preferably..Even if you be forging one, make sure they don't find out or else they won't grant it..
NOW TO THE KOKO.. POSTING TO PLACE OF PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT.. The simple truth is many ppas don't pay Corp members neither do they provide accomodation.. The state government doesn't pay Corp members either so you guys have to make do with 19800..
P.S FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO RELOCATE ...IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE AT NYSC, NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME TO START MAKING CALLS REGARDING YOUR RELOCATION ... WISH YOU ALL A NICE TIME AT YIKPATA CAMP. odun good wetin you de do hai |

LordReed: So his wider audience cannot import the book from Nigeria? How does it make the so called common sense to print a book outside the country of your primary constituency then import it back into that country and then be shouting buy local? Either he is mentally deficient or he doesn't understand what it means to buy local. In either case such a person is not fit to head a buy local campaign. When we say buy local, its just to encourage local products that doesn't mean you should go for substandard, if you are not ok with the quality of what you get locally go foreign. The only thing that the government should do is to increase tariffs on imported goods. If we say importation is the reason why Naira is failing, that is a big lie. There is no country that doesn't import, out of 10products in US, 6 are made in China. We just need to boost exports to level with import, that is where central bank comes in. As far as Am concerned Nigeria doesn't have a central bank yet. |

LordReed: I want to hear his rebuttal to the fact that he hypocritically had his book published in the US. All talk and hypocritical action is no way to drive any sort of patriotic campaign because you are already undermining the very cause you are championing. That is an exercise in futility and the campaign is nothing more than a hot air balloon carrying nothing and achieving less than nothing. publishing a book, depends on how you look at it. Am not so sure, we have excellent publishers in Nigeria, besides his audience for the book is beyond Nigeria, He needs his product to be upto standard to be able to sell abroad. As long as we don't have everything, we would still need to import the things we don't produce. The is no country that doesn't import, just make your []at least )import = export. Cc: seun |

2sex: well I did voted and I am same as the OP. At least a few nairalanders know I did support him. Rozayx5, who is staunch PDP supporter, knows and he is my friend offline too. Ideology is another nairalander who knows, Chibenze is another nairalander who knows I supported Buhari.
Buhari is fvcking up big time and let call a spade a spade. Economy is what makes the citizens feel they belong somewhere and if that's not obtainable then we can as well kiss him good bye come 2019.
Is it corruption we will keep hearing till 4 year elapse?
Jobs have been lost in numbers and over 5 of my friends were affected.
Dollar is currently 335 and virtually everything has increased. I went to buy a bulb few days ago before I travelled and it was told it's 200 naira , something I used to buy for 150 before. I couldn't buy a laptop and was told by my buyer to wait for sometime cos I wanted to change the one I am using.
All we hear is "PDP is the problem, PDP is the problem, PDP is the problem" but no simple solution. A man who blames another for his failure can NEVER succeed. Agreed, PDP ruined the country, you don't need to tell us what we already know.
WHAT IS THE FORKING WAY OUT AND SOLUTION?
Dasukigate saga is now old school and I am tired of hearing that.
We say no money in the country and the economy is in a mess but Buhari is still flying around. Doing what please?
Corruption is not the only problem we have in country please. Hahaha, please don't regret voting Buhari. Buhari is a good man, but he doesn't know jack about economics - Gov Fayose. I pity him, they are not telling him the truth just like Gej, all these politicians are not helping issues, if only He has the right people in offices and not ministers who represents political interests. The economic policies that is supposed to be enforced to change the situation will affect the rich cabals and political class, unfortunately they will not allow it. Cabals needs to be killed in Nigeria simple!! For those who keep blaming the past, if they are truthful to themselves they will know that 70% of people who wrecked this country are in APC today calling shots. As for Dasukigate, a lot is fishy 1. Metuh's case have been closed just like that. 2. The amount that they have proven is not up to $2.1B so Far. 3. People who they claimed got over N1B are walking free, while those who collected less are being harrassed. 4. FG wants to try Dasuki in secret ; they also brought up allegation that he left military without proper resignation, which is not related to the case at all. |
