I support this new government but this trip is a tax payers wasted journey for nothing but a swearing ceremony of a regional bank full of notHing but pen pushers and bureaucratic red tape I'm disappointed big time. A serious government will save jet fuel money on this silly jamboree trip and get Nigeria's ambassador over there to attend |
charlesbailey:Pardon me I am staying at the hotel on business. Lol Only seen him a couple of times, I don't need to attach or famz (like they say it) with him if you know the kind of person I am lol |
I don't know why some peeps find the story funny or choose to see a joke in the story, Damn people they raped and a 13 year old for that matter and all people can see are things like 6 pack, jail Brake jokes What a pity , I pray God heals the hurt people most especially the emotionally destroyed victims May these ugly looking demonic guys rot In hell. Holy Spirit will find them out and do justice on them, they shall know no peace or rest for this |
duduade:His family line is not in the running and on another note, he's dragging his very own Royalty in the mud by acting like a low life I've never seen 1st class Obas seats bn dragged and won by visiting other domains for what? Did Damola see Sijuade going round the nation before he was picked as Oba elect or he saw Daddy Tadenaiwo his grand father Ooni Aderemi before Sijuade going round the universe for what ? I think him and Dele Momodu are just on a wild goose chase and using the opportunity to do notice me no pick up the odd dollars ( the usual bob dee way) along this Christopher Columbus journey they have embarked on Bob Dee stooping so low since 1980's now Damola has joined, lol Jokers Nigeria Limited |

HungerBAD:So Soyinka adds no value Globally. Lol Lives on money from Government lol For your information I not one in support of The Pyrates and if you look and read me well I never even brought it up in my writing What I like about you is the manner you replied me with no Abusive or aggressive words which seems to be the order of the day on here most times . God bless you big time for your maturity and level headed ness One last question if you begging to mention Ini Edo and a few other on the same page as Wole Soyinka then we don't need to debate over this anymore I rest my Quill Pen . Thank once again for your manners , I cannot fail to recognise that |

Lucy Newlyn, a professor of English Language and Literature at the Oxford University and the sponsor of Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, for the prestigious Oxford Professor of Poetry post, has described the appointment of British poet, Simon Armitage, Mr. Soyinka as “an immense loss for Oxford University”. |

HungerBAD:Did you just lump and list Pro Wole Soyinka with the names you mentioned as jobless? I think it's either you are not a learned, informed and vast person if you start or struggle to know what Wole Soyinka is about Please do some small research or at least google up what Prof he's done and what he's still doing as ascholar and a public figure, ok? That is how people make people like Orubebe heroes and overlook people lie Prof as recognised people Please read up Prof Wole Soyinka is not a jobless man even at his age he was in the running to be an Oxford Univerrsiy Head because they value him than we do back home You owe the world an apology for your post. Thank you Let me help you start your work . READ UP PLEASE. You will do yourself some good and also correct your misinformation. As a Scholar and World recognised learned person and also a Global Political figure, you should not be asking what Soyinka is about, rather you should be in appreciation of what he's done as a Nigerian and an African . Kai this Nairaland is full of people oo https://prelectur.stanford.edu/lecturers/soyinka/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wole_Soyinka |

I am at the Oriental at the moment where the owner of the White Ferrari (always parked at the top drive in) of the hotel He's bn in one of the Suites at the Oriental for the last few months since he moved out of Raddisson Hotel a few months ago due to close down for refurbishment. We've had drinks a few times and he seems quite a humble guy, so much he had to request for permission first from the hotel Msnager at the Oriental if he could put a sleeve cover on top of his White Ferarri 458 as it's causing too much attention anytime guests come round the Orirntal Hotel. I never knew he takes the car out as he's always in the hotel or spotted around the pool side bar most evening |

ideylaff:Think he's bn kept on and watched. Sometimes within some key C level jobs, you don't just get rid off without untangling the web first The sensitivity of his post as well comes into play, you can see it did not take long before he showed his true colour , this time all the way from the U.S. In full glare of the world His master will always be Jim Ovia, who has no track record but just a bank built on stolen and dodgy money As Jim Ovia to speak about business like he was invited to London School of Economics in full glare of young graduates where he could not muster basic business traceability other than repeat of I have a dream, I gave a dream, the Young Nigerians in the house were disgraced and embarrassed I was close to tears, is this a Former CEO of one if the so called Nigeria top 5 banks They are overrated, hero worshipped and not as good as they come I'm sure Emefiele has dug his own grave himself and has bn given an option to resign Let's forget ethnic bias the guy was nothing but out if dept in that position at most he's a commercial bank manager nothing more A CBN governor thats doing yes sir for Senate President Saraki already just to keep his job Pity big time |
In my books and closely looking @ past records and then recently I saw my CBN Governor calling a 2 hr press conference explaining to World press on the ban of chicken and toothpick That kind of anouncement should have bn left to an officer / Head of Department within CBN Guess he was trying to impress Buhari In conclusion he's at most a commercial Banker and no way near bn a CBN Governor He's on his way to jail soon based on what we've bn privy to know on what he dud between Zenith Bank and CBN They did nit even hide their face about it all, most key CBN people know Emefiele blatantly opened the CBN tap forvJonathan via CBN during the last election |
NovusHomo:Well said. The webs around his deeds turning Zenith into a Den but money movement via CBN immediately after he got on the seat was eventually going to hunt him. He was on borrowed time with a few bn privy to Privy file on Buhari's desk A lot more to come till we get to the squeaky clean folks Good luck Nigeria |

nerodenero:So all culprits are picked up all at once for questioning. Maybe you don't know the extent of war crimes Dasuki committed both within and outside the army's. The least that passed through him was about 3billion dollars meant to be for the fighting soldiers They did not even stop there, they also now used the money to arm Boko haram and tried to stop them after the 6 weeks election shift to use a political strategy to gain votes For years they made Biko haram strong so it could be used politically He got so strong he headed for Chatam house in London to call for election to be moved Service chiefs all corrupt as well we're reporting to him while he ran the show and passed down crumbs to them and they in turn did not use the money for the soldiers They will all be brought to book in time Dasuki is looking for sympathetic crew all over Even his god father IBB has deserted him |
Agukagu:Point of correction he retired a Colonel in the Army. The rest Royalty stuff is overhyped and followership built on stolen power wealth and stricken poverty passed down the line If he's found wanting he has a case to answer simple. Abacha dealt with his dad do what makes him untouchable Where were you when he headed for Chatham House in London to move election so they could use the same Boko Haram they empowered to win the election for PDP? Nigerians are so gullible and try and make excuses for nothing People need to be calm and patient before jumping on Social Networks only spewing half truthabout a situation. So it does turn out the DSS had a proper and legal search warrant and it was Dasuki himself who refused to open the door for them. What could he be hiding or concealing over the period of delay which took forever. The CIA don't come knocking with a warrant and within minutes you don't let them in. No way UlqU3: You lack wisdom. Retired officers Major upwards are only allowed their service pistol and nothing more. Surely the Guns seen at his place do not belong to his security details. Rifles are not just discovered without bn on the person meant to be Using the rifles. The most a Major General will have in his house will be a pistol and a Rifle with permit from the Inspector General of Police, why has Dasuki not shown jus within minutes of be found on his premises. Even when military security guards are changed on shifts, each person has their own assigned rifles. I knew they had a search warrant and the entire internet was reporting half information I'm also Privy to a few mates who worked closely with Dasuki while he was NSA. They made a huge silly amount of money and I keep telling them how can you sleep at night in your bed by using money meant for the Nation to enjoy yourselves and live false life. Got the opportunity to be a registered defence contractor which I turned down, I did not even need to lift a finger the contract was going to be allocated, signed and not a thing done but just my signature as a registered company God help us all in this country. P I know a few SW peeps close to Dasuki who made Billions from him Shame on them all Mr Y A, Mr B O all in Abuja Prince G S of Ile Ife, it's not fair, repent and return the funds you did not do work for as well as the arms bought and diverted to BH highly classified Guys there is a GOD |

Exactly... dont know why people are making noise even when they are not privy to what happenned and just getting emotional for anything to nail the President One minute hs slow, one minute hes undemocratic, one minute hes not meddling in the NASS, one minute they say hes not to smart as a politician When a whole NSA Budget moved from N50 Billion naira to 150 Billion naira under dasukis reign and u say he does not need questioning This country makes me cry sometimes Do they know the kind of power dasuki had.... In high sensitive matters of National Security, exceptions are made. They did not just besiege is house, they arrived his house to show him the search warrant so they can carry out their search and hes has refused to open the door. Even in civilised societies and democracies, once you refuse to open your door to Security Agencies, you leave yourself open to invasion with forceful powers |
