Foreign Affairs › North Korea Crises:whats Your Take? by Ideyontop(op): 3:13pm On Aug 11, 2017 |
Personally i think North Korea has bitten more than it can chew. With Trump as the president, its not business as usual for their careless talks and threats.
I also think North Korea is not strong enough to go into war with the US. Even with China combined.
I hope Kim Jong Un doesn't make a careless move. |

Nairaland General › Taxify & Uber Drivers Are Becoming Too Rude. by Ideyontop(op): 9:53pm On Jul 23, 2017 |
We need to call on the attention of the management of Taxify and Uber taxi companies to caution their drivers as they have become increasingly disrespectful and insultive to say the least. I have heard cases where the drivers walked passengers out of their cars for very flimsy reasons. Today i witnessed one where a driver parked and asked the passenger to come down because the passenger responded to his rude remarks.
Please they should do something about it. A paying customer deserves good service. |

Sir, next should be DANFO. Your excellency, people are dyeing everyday, many are getting injured because of the carelessness of DANFO drivers. I heard that you have a plan to phase out yellow buses and replace with a robust transport plan. Please hurry up sir, we need that one very quickly, you are going to save a lot of lives and because of this.

Your sisters delila-ish ways that set him up was not enough huh?
Now you want to come out in real life to continue where your sister stopped?
Don't let me pray for you!!!
I don't know Kemen personally and neither does many concerned Nigerians who were very grossed with your sister for setting up his disqualification.
Are you blind? Can't you see that Nigerians don't like your sister? Did you see the jubilation when your sister was evicted? Use your tongue to count your teeth!
Stop using Kemen as your scape goat and deal with the situation in your hands, they are already full. |

Aunty Debbie-Rise, you have a brand to build, protect and maintain. Your reward after so man days in the house is not Tboss. Please stop attaching your self to Tboss everywhere. There may be companies considering you but are not identifying with you. Your brand is slowly fading pls act wisely.
1. Take very nice shots of yourself and flood them on the net.
2. Flood the internet with your songs.
3. Stop attaching yourself to Tboss!!!!!
Pls forward this until it gets to Debbie-Rise.

The fact is that Tboss destroyed Kemen's reputation. When she was secretly asked by Big Brother, she started crying and acting a "victim" hence Kemen was punished. None of his clip was played, no endorsements, Chai! I pity for Kemen. |

Celebrities › #bbnaija: 7 Reasons I Feel Big Brother Was Wrong With Kemens Disqualification. by Ideyontop(op): 10:14am On Mar 06, 2017*. Modified: 10:56am On Mar 06, 2017 |
Ok, Kemen just got evicted from the Big Brother House. I had a close look at the video and here are my personal conclusions:
1. Tboss was awake when Kemen fondled her.So she was aware.
2. Big Brother Evicted Kemen based on Tboss's strong dislike for Kemen. Yes,this dislike for Kemen was quickly utilised and converted to sexual harassment accusation by Tboss when this opportunity came to which Kemen seem guilty from the shallow look of things.
4. Someone said that Big Brother is manipulating this game to Favour Tboss for some reasons yet unknown. It also looks like Big Brother summoned Bisola and sent her on a mission to go dissuade the other house mates and force them to "free" Tboss. We all saw what happened after Big Brother summoned Bisola to watch the video.
5.Personally I feel the punishment was too much for the action. There are several punishments Big Brother would have given to Kemen.
6. Big Brother should have let Kemen be evicted quietly,he was going anyway, that way he would have gone in peace.
7. Big Brother just destroyed Kemens reputation,i think that was rather too much. He did not even get an eviction interview, and is now labelled a "rapist" , not fair! |

Kemen just got evicted and Big Brother never showed us why like the show usually does.I was curious and searched the internet. After watching the video online i have come to the following conclusions:
1. Tboss was awake when Kemen fondled her.So she was aware.
2. Big Brother Evicted Kemen based on Tboss's strong dislike for Kemen.
3. Yes,this dislike for Kemen was quickly converted to sexual harassment accusation to which Kemen seem guilty from the shallow look of things.

5.Personally I feel the punishment was too much for the action.Just like using a double barrel to kill a cockroach. There are several punishments Big Brother would have meted to Kemen.
6. Big Brother should have let Kemen be evicted quietly,he was up for eviction anyway, that way he would have gone in peace.
7. Big Brother just destroyed Kemens reputation,i think that was rather too much. He did not even get an eviction interview, not fair!

I just finished watching Kate Bolduan, the anchor of "State of America" on CNN. I'll begin to avoid her shows! Her action does not portray CNN as a non biased media company and makes me begin to loose respect for them. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Inciteful Statement: Bishop David Oyedepo Must Be Called To Order by Ideyontop: 9:41pm On Jan 13, 2017 |
Do not be stupid you little boy else wetin pass you go carry you! TonyeBarcanista: By TonyeBarcanista
I read the well publicized article in which respected Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel called for the killing and sliding of throats of potential Muslims/Fulani attackers. In the words of Oyedepo
“You catch anyone that looks like them, kill him! There is no reporting to anybody. Kill him! Pull off his neck! And we spill his blood on the ground. What nonsense.”
Bishop Oyedepo Views Against Christian Doctrine: The call by Bishop Oyedepo with due respect goes contrary to the Christian teachings going by what is recorded in the Bible as well as Bible teaching on how Christians should live.
Firstly, Jesus, our perfect example displayed it when in the book of Matthew 26:52, he condemned Apostle Peter for cutting off the ears of one of the servants of the High Priest that went to arrest him, named Malchus. Jesus not only healed the servant but admonished Peter that "for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."
The action of Jesus Christ in the above story was in line with his teaching in the Mountain as recorded in Matthew 5:44, where he said But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;, as against "an eye for an eye" treatment that was practised by the Judaisers under the Mosaic law that was never perfect.
His disciples and the Christian Church lived according to this teaching by not retaliating even in the height of persecution during the Roman empire that saw Apostles Paul beheaded, Peter crucified under Emperor Nero, and other members of the early Church die violent deaths under the rule of Roman emperors. In fact, during that period, God showed John the beloved revelation of the last day BUT never did he empower him to retaliate or kill.
If Jesus Christ and the early Church stuck to Christian doctrine, where did Bishop Oyedepo got his own authority?
What Makes Us Christians: The believers were first called Christians in Antioch because they displayed the rare characters of Jesus Christ. If this is true, it is safe that the thing that made us Christians is our leading of the life of Christ, not that of any man irrespective of title. If we can't be like Christ and heed to his teachings then we have no business calling ourselves Christians. Jesus stance against retaliating to the oppressing Romans made the Jews to prefer him to die instead of the violent Barnabas. We must be like Christ by insisting on non violence.
If Apostle James could admonished the early Church that was facing trials of various kind because of their faith to "count it all joy", how much more us?
His Call Against Nigeria Law: Despite the fact that we have choose to accept our society to be lawless, the law of Nigeria is clearly against incite to kill fellow citizens and residents, as well as taking laws into ones hands aka self help.
The only authority empowered to bring defaulters of the law to justice is the Police and other agents of the State. No citizen has that power. As citizen, it is our civil duty to avail the Police and other security agents information to arrest criminals potential criminals and their activities. While jungle justice is usually employed by citizens due to ineptitude of the authorities, it never made the act right. But for one to incite the gruesome killing of people that "appear" as attackers and not just attackers, it is unfortunate. statement like “You catch anyone that looks like them, kill him!” must be condemned by all, and without partiality.
If these statements were made by Asari Dokubo or Nnamdi Kanu, I am very sure that the authorities won't take it lightly. The law must respect nobody irrespective of perceived standing in the society.
Statements Endangering Christians And Non Christians: BEfore any war is fought, there is usually inciting statements from so called leaders. The statements credited to some Muslim groups and clerics, as well as this credited to Governor Elrufai and Bishop Oyedepo is what fuels sectarian violence in Nigeria. Truth is, should there be violence (like we have in Southern Kaduna), it is ONLY the defenceless innocent that get killed, while the elites and their families are fully secured. Nigerians, both Christians and Muslims must understand that the elite are never enemies irrespective of their noise in the media.
The statement of Oyedepo is capable of causing counter statement from some Islamic leaders and attack on citizens will start. The statement is not different from those of Abubakar Shekau or other extremists like Miyetti leaders and some other muslim fanatical clergies.
I condemn the genocide in Southern Kaduna, it is my belief that agents of Kaduna state government as well leaders of Miyetti Allah are complicit in this shameful killing. It is my hope that a case is established against perpetrators of the violence to higher authorities (like the ICC), but it does not in anyway justify incitement against anybody or group of persons.
As Christians we must adhere STRICTLY to Christian doctrine and not apostasy! Bishop David Oyedepo must be called to order.
I shall end this with the Words of Apostle Paul to the Church in Ephesus when the Church was under persecution in the book of Ephesians 6:12;
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
May God Bless Us All And Bless Nigeria https://www.opinionnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Engaging-the-demand-of-discipline-for-success-By-David-Oyedepo.jpg Shared on Palmchat |

Car Talk › Alarming: FRSC To Increase License Cost by Ideyontop(op): 9:13pm On Nov 26, 2016 |
Just saw this on AIT News where oga at the top of FRSC said he is increasing the cost of obtaining new drivers license. My questions is this:
Why increase the cost when most Nigerians do not even get this license at the official rate? They usually get it at an inflated rate cos of the impossible process. Most people resort to the easier more expensive alternative ( black market sort of process.)
The eventual new high price will still be topped with the usual black market additional cost, by the time it gets to the ordinary man ( the user) the price would be unbearable. This is totally wrong and we do not subscribe to this. |
