If we have to redefine geographical coordinates to differentiate the Niger Delta peoples from the Igbo then so be it.

One country, Belgium thinks while the other country, Nigeria does not. The former is alive while the latter is dead. As you said, the comparison is very silly.

North will step up their agriculture. They’ll feed southern Nigeria and neighboring countries. They’ll still be poor but the division will force innovative thinking. Abuja will remain capital and they’ll develop Kano and kaduna. They’ll build the strongest military in the region.

South south minus AkwaCross will form Niger delta, to the anguish of SE. They’ll remain oil rich and full control of revenue will allow improvement in infrastructure. However many tribes will fight for dominance, encouraging corruption. They’ll struggle to build a vibrant economy and employ youths outside oil. Their infatructure drive will improve tourism. They’ll be well off. They’ll stay in their region.

South east will improve from current conditions. The gas reserves will help earn forex. They’ll all move back to the region in a flurry of emotions. However, in less than five years, they’ll start struggling to move back to west, south south and north. They’ll not have freedoms they used to have in Nigeria and they’ll complain everyday on social media. They’ll start trying to takeover lands in the SS. SS will fight back and ask for help from powerful west and north, which may create another Ukraine situation. People who fought for Biafra will be entitled to power.

Southwest will prosper. Industries in Ogun, power in Osun, agriculture in ekiti, oil in ondo, services in Oyo and tech and tourism in lagos will bring a lot of wealth. They’ll quickly build a road amd train connecting west Africa all the way to Senegal. It’ll without doubt be the best alumni region out of Nigeria, leading in tech, security, economy, jobs, shipping, transportation etc.
I guess you failed geography in school. It should be south-south minus AkwaCross, parts of Delta, Edo, Bayelsa and entire Rivers. You can now extrapolate that south-south is nonexistence.

Nigeria Exploring Nuclear Energy To Generate Electricity — Buhari

President Mohammadu Buhari has said Nigeria is exploring nuclear energy to generate electricity.

He also expressed unwavering commitment of his administration to energy mix through acquisition of nuclear power.

The President spoke at the just concluded International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century held in Washington DC.

Nuclear plant

According to him, the Federal Government has activated the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission, NAEC, as the national focal agency charged with the responsibility of developing the framework and technical pathway to explore, exploit and harness atomic energy for peaceful applications for the socio-economic development of the country.

He said Nigeria had also established the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority as an independent agency of government to ensure the safety of humans and the protection of the environment in the process of development, deployment and use of nuclear power.

Buhari, who spoke through the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Sen. Adeleke Mamora, said like most other nations on the continent, Nigeria, with a population of over 200 million people, had a serious energy supply deficit, making it compelling for the government to critically look towards other energy options that were affordable, more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Consequently, he disclosed that Nigeria had taken a decision to fully explore and harness nuclear energy resources for the generation of electricity, which would contribute to the country’s energy security through an appropriate energy mix.

‘‘With the Small Modular Reactor, SMR, technology evolving, Nigeria sees this as a future game-changer in the nuclear industry and looks forward to a greater engagement with the IAEA and other global partners in the coming months and years to discuss the possibility of deploying SMRs in the country.

‘‘Several countries in Africa have genuine aspirations for industrialization and growth but the lack of reliable and sustainable base-load energy constitutes serious impediment.

‘‘Despite all the good policies formulated by African countries, the attainment of real growth and development has remained a mirage due to energy inadequacy. The possibility of nuclear power is now providing African countries with a better alternative for energy generation.

‘‘In this regard, Nigeria is currently engaged in discussions with some countries and vendors for our nuclear power project. Two potential sites for Nigeria’s nuclear power plant have been identified and necessary processes are being undertaken under the Integrated Nuclear Power Programme of Nigeria with the IAEA,” Buhari said.

While expressing Nigeria’s appreciation to DG Grossi and the entire staff of the IAEA as well as the leadership of the Nuclear Energy Agency, NEA, and other partners for arrangements put in place for the conference, the President assured of Nigeria’s full support and cooperation towards the attainment of the goals and objectives of the conference.

A friend recommended me to a prominent Yoruba Lawyer who's into real estate and needed someone to help him with Facebook and YouTube ads optimization for his real estate business.
So on Sunday morning, the lawyer phoned me and asked for my address that he's coming to pick me up in the afternoon, 3pm to be precise. At about 3 in the afternoon, he came and we entered his 4runner jeep and headed to his place somewhere at Ikeja GRA. he offered me some refreshments while i got to work on his laptop immediately.
while I was optimizing and setting up his Facebook ad, he started a political conversation with me. He asked which political party do I belong to and i told him I'm apolitical. he continued by asking who do I intend to vote for in this upcoming presidential election, I replied by saying I haven't made up my mind yet. He gave me a stern look and said; "Make sure you vote for Peter Obi". I asked him why not Tinubu or Atiku. He told me he's Yoruba but he will be voting for Sanwaolu for governorship and Peter Obi for presidency. He confided in me that Tinubu does not represent the interest of Yorubas but his selfish ambition thus, Emilokan. He cited how Tinubu runs the affairs of Lagos and how he has corruptedly enriched himself and immediate family members to the detriment of real lagosians.
While he said all these things against Tinubu, I didn't utter a word but I now realise that not all my Yoruba people supports Tinubu.
The truth is; Tinubu will Lulę Las Las because most of we Yoruba Christians are against him not just because of the Muslim Muslim ticket but because of his corrupt ways and how he institutionalized agbero and made the vice so lucrative that most of our Yoruba youths are now dropping out of school and embracing agberoism in a bid to grow up and be like Mc Oluomo and his co criminals.

No this is a case of ratting each other out. When the Nigerian army gets grip of you. You'll confess that Jesus is lord.
That is just the case here. The ones that are innocent are released.

What the Nigerian army is doing is that anywhere they see group of boys gather in Orsu they will pack all of them.
Take them to a medical test for gun powder. If u have shot a gun of recent the test will detect because of the guns smoke and the dust on your hands.

Is just like detecting a smoker through his lungs.
Now after the medical test proves you have shot a gun of recent and u have no tangible story of what made u shot a gun you're automatically an unknown gunman and other guys who haven't shot a gun of recent are released.
It is appropriate for the so-called Unknown Gun Men to lay waste on the goons known as Nigerian army.

oikirodah:
Blunder Upon Blunders: Obidient Movement Losses Steam As Peter Obi Claims Nassarawa is a Great Country (Video)

"The people of Nassarawa support agriculture, Nasarawa is big, its a great country" Please stop right there; did Peter Obi just call Nassarawa a great country?

I previously questioned if the LP candidate was suffering from dementia or if he had made a purposeful shift to trend. His inconsistency in providing figures and manipulating facts has become notorious.

Given that publicity may be good or bad depending on your point of view, might this be a strategy to make headlines for the wrong reasons?

The LP launched its presidential campaign in Nasarrawa state yesterday and made three major gaffes. The first was that Obi was found dozing and snoring when he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Lafia, the second was that the gathering at the Flag off was scanty, as shown by channels Tv, and the third was Obi's ludicrous claim that Nassarawa is a great country.

If Obi can't keep track of figures at 61, what will he do when he's 64? He said Nassarawa was a great country bigger than Israel, therefore if he had visited Borno, he would have declared Borno was a great CONTINENT bigger than America.

Obi's gaffe and inconsistency should be investigated thoroughly because Nigeria cannot afford an administration that is inconsistent with its policies and developmental plans. Meanwhile, are you aware or have you observed that the LP has lost steam?

The flag off yesterday drew a pathetic audience, and from the aerial view as shown on channels TV, it was pitiful; forget about the make-up images brandished around by the Obidients, the Nassarawa flag off was a massive flop.

The Labour Party has also stated that it is broke and in need of funding, while its presidential candidate boasts about being wealthier than US President Joe Biden and still being unable to fund his campaigns. Party members accuse Obi of using his personal accounts to divert donated funds to the campaign, which portrays Obi as using the elections as a CASH OUT point.

It has been observed that, since the release of the restriction on political campaigns, the LP has looked for any excuse to postpone their campaigns, as opposed to the initial GRAGRA that was displayed before INEC lifted the ban on electoral activities.

As the electoral campaigns take a twisted turn with heated activities is the LP likely to gain back momentum? How would Peter Obi put his multiple blunders to check in the coming few weeks and months leading to the main elections?

Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Meanwhile, watch the video on his blunder and the overhead view of images as reported by TV stations.
