The hatred for Igbo in Nigeria does not have boundaries. This is food for thought to those delusional Igbo peeps who beg for the silly one-Nigeria. If Igbo are most tribally disposed in Nigeria, why do you not support their bid to leave the union called Nigeria? It is not funny anymore your forbearers fought war of attrition to keep these despicable souls as part of Nigeria. I know the root of hatred toward Ndigbo in Nigeria yet the reason most Nigerians will fight to keep them as part of the shithole called Nigeria. |

Abohboy: I know that i'm saying after his tenure would have ended which if i'm not mistaken would have been in 1967 unless they had 5 year terms and i'm sure after his tenure as eastern region premier he would have moved on to prime minister or premier of Nigeria seeing as he built massive industrial zones in all states, built ports, increased efficiency of agriculture and gave it machinery and on top of that he develop federal mortgage schemes to make buying housing easier for people in the eastern region and as premier he likely would have introduced same to the whole nation between him and Awolowo I think they'd have been the best leaders for Nigeria How do you know when the tenure will end since Nigeria ran parliamentary system of government? The party which won majority in the parliament will continue to rule and leader of the party shall head the emerging government. I shall do anything to actualize it. Also, I am in support of those who wanted republic of Biafra. Igboid: You are not reasoning well. You want to be in a country with a people you will eternally be dragging for power with. Wasting precious time that would have been spent on development and industrialization on power intrigues. Are you listening to yourself?
No one is making North larger than they are. The fact is that the Islamic ideology of the North does not support infidels rulling the children of Allah, so whenever this happens, there will serious revolt like in the North like we saw in GEJ, derailing the Government.
Zik was a chicken, a coward. He was found guilty of using Eastern region funds to run party politics, so the British used it to blackmail him into either accepting to play second fiddle to their beloved North or go to jail. We all know how the so called Zik of Africa became a powerless ceremonial president to a barely educated Balewa just to save his own skin. Its the same Zik that some of you want to paint as someone more powerful? I laugh.
Zik is a shortsighted fellow. I don't blame him too much though for lacking foresight, there was no antecedents for him to learn from. But I get irritated when I see adults like you who have seen the mistakes of Zik in opting for a United NIGERIA and yet voluntarily choose same path. It is madness.
Zik lost out big time to the North. He was beaten blue black from the word go when he was relegated to a mere figure head president. And then was given a knock out punch after the much disputed 1963 Census result.
The only lesson to be learned from Zik misadventures in Nigeria politics and experience with the North is how to play second fiddle to the North( This is an area Zik know we'll which I want us to copy for 2023 to unseat the Yorubas who think they are wiser than they are) . And also why Ndiigbo must find a way to pull out from this shithole.
Imagine someone once asked me why do I think Zik built UNN In Nsukka. I told him it's because of the serene environment. The guy laughed an evil laughter, after which he said: Is Nsukka a Northern Igbo land that is almost a Savannah region more serene than deeply rainforested Central and Southern Igbo with lush vegetations and much more abundant rainfall? After which he went on to tell me that Zik wanted the University to be as close to the North as possible, and that was the single factor why he picked Nsukka.
I was dumbfounded. But the more I reexamine Zik life, the more it makes sense.
Zik is not an example we should emulate in Igboland. He is more like an "Ozoemena" as far as politics in Igboland is concerned in wider Nigerian context. I only appreciate his role in improving Western education literacy in Igboland. And for finding a rare gem like Okpara Michael. Those are his only two legacies in Igboland that he would be remembered for when Republic of Igboland stands in the community of Nations in UN. You may have ill-feeling toward Azikiwe as many Igbo chaps do. However it appears you have sunken neck deep into the fallacies published by the western region of Nigeria publishing houses. I have copies of 1960 and 1963 Nigerian constitution on my table and would want you to guide me toward the section which declared Azikiwe the "Figure head president". You got it totally wrong on the issue of ACB. |

AlexBells: That's if you are arguing on the basis of the second reason why Biafra lost, the first reason was that supposedly Biafrans was opposed to the war secessionist option or at best there was errors on the signals of support I had told you we lost becuase so many Igbo had different suggestion for the war,
Zik, Was opposed to Milirary option, Nzeogwu was opposed to the war and he preferred Nigeria and believed the war should be channelled to Kaduna instead of Lagos, Emmanuel Ifeajuna believed that once Ojukwu and Gowon were out of the picture the war should be over, there was no unity of purpose so tell me how we could win,
So many people were deliberately ignored Biafra of today is quite different at least it is surrounded in a call for referendum, it does not make logical sense that a real well planned and focused war that Nigeria would win Biafra but it turned out the way it did.
Ojukwu could have appealed to Zik, Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna, Ifeajuna could have been the face of Biafra giving his international reach then as an Olympic medalist while appointing MI Okpara as the premier while himself would be the chief of Army or Defence staff
These things happened too fast so I don't blame anyone, it had happened and it had happened but this generation needn't repeat a mistake I had told you, I cannot correctly proffer why Biafra lost the war. In addition, I have not remotely insinuated why Biafra lost the war in my posts. You were the person who seemed to enjoy the fact Biafra had no weapon of war and international recognition. However there were, at least, five countries that recognized Biafra. |

They bring in gun men? We bring in our own if ESN can get guns so can we the people and we will fight back
My view is that the whole structure of Nigeria will be destroyed very soon not the nation itself but the whole form of government, the constitution, the civil sector even the way the currency is run will be changed and the sooner this happens the better it is for Nigeria and i'm very hopeful that it can happen soon because everything is aligning right now
Youths are getting ready to vote Parties are merging to form a third force Anger is rising amongst the people People are finding more solutions to our problems PDP and APC are continously failing reducing confidence in them and finally we are starting to see our similarities and seeing where we can move forward with the way things are going we're either set for a revolution or a massive change of who is in power You are free as air to dwell in Nigeria. Aderewah: For millenia, the mainstay of igbos is trade. They are good at buying at selling. Especially from China and other countries. Buying is not important. Anyone can buy. The important thing here is selling.
Igbos have enjoyed selling to yorubas and northerners for decades. Why? Yorubas are a very well rounded people. They are not into just one thing. Law, music, business, medicine, academia, transport, tech etc etc. This means Yorubas delegate the trading to the igbos, but when biafra comes and igbo lose right to sell to 65 million yoruba buyers, yoruba entrepreneurs will fill those spots igbos will leave open.
For hausas, they are also good with trading. After biafra I'm sure northerners will not even want to see igbos at all as they'll declare full sharia immediately.
What then do we have? 45 million igbos in their land locked region with no customers. They won't buy from each other as much because they have trading mentality. They can sell goods, not good at buying. SW and North will pass strong indigenous laws to shut out non citizens like China.
SW and North will be safe because igbos are not the main consumers of our products in the first place. But igbos will lose 150m customers and if they want to jump the rest of Nigeria, logistics will not be funny.
We can't wait for biafra to come. What an idiotic dribble. Yet Igbo is the first African to sit in world court at Hague. Igbo is the first African to be president of world court. Igbo is first African secretary-general of commonwealth of nations. Igbo is the African to head WTO. Igbo produced the first African professor of mathematics. Igbo was first Nigerian to open law office in Nigeria. Igbo is the first African to produce vaccine. Igbo is first Nigerian to manufacture vehicle. |

Was catholic not brought to us by the British missionaries, you seem to confuse the missionaries, the Marchants with the Colonialists there where three stages of British entry into Eastern Nigeria, first was the mission, second was the Marchants and third was the Colonialists
In fact I had followed your arguments here and all of your maps made were made by the British even all your defence was based on the British accounts, so lets be sensible Africans, only a referendum would decide who becomes Biafra and who becomes not and who becomes part of Igbo Republic and who is not
You made reference to Onitsha and the environs, isn't that a tiny bit of what's today known as AlaIgbo, what about Northern Igboland, what about The Delta Igbos, what about Rivers Igbos or you think in actual sense those Ikwerre who keeps denying being Igbo don't have logics to it,
Ofcourse they are Ikwerre Igbo sub groups but the Igbo as an umbrella was given to us by the British, even if you look at the Onitsha environs or lets even use the Omambala environment as the Omambala River covers most of what is today know as Anambra and part of Enugu it still don't represent 30% of AlaIgbo so it was the Missionary which did most of the peaceful Unification work and you condemn them when it didn't favour you but dont praise them when it favours you I am not a fan of digression. This topic is about Nigeria's future and actualization of homeland. When Republic of Igboland or even Republic of Biafra is actualized, we can discourse Igbo unity or lack thereof. |
