Siga: ....once u get to Paris....check the gate u are gonna be boarding at....if u are not sure...Please dont be shy to ask questions....go to any Air France desk if possible....once dem tell u where ur gate is....head there.....its a bit a of a walk from where u get off...so, u wanna go there first , get to know the gate before wondering anywhere....as a matter of fact...go straight to ur gate.....then u can go down to have coffee...there are stores at the lower floor.... breakfast is pretty pricy though.... lol...

Congrats @ Idomaboi, what wil u do when ur passport expires? Can CDHC issue study permit beyond d validity of ones passport? Pls I want to kn becos d duration of my proposed course of study in canny exceed d validity of d passport I submitted at CDHC. Will it affect my chance? Pls @ all.

nahh its the study permit which will be issued you at the POE that will determine your stay...the expiry date of the visa indicates when you should be in canada

Siga: ...Wind Mobile na one of the cheapest mobile service providers....I believe they moved to Canada like 3 or 4yrs ago...they are from North Africa.....u can get services as low as $25 a month from them.....if u no get phone....u can sign up a 6months contract, deposit $200 and get a simple Blackberry or smaller phone....pay $25 a month and in 6months..u can ask for ur $200 deposit back or u apply it to ur bill...need to know more....get here first...or tap google and dem site

But be warned, their services is not smooth oo...people might call u several times and u cant be reached....u might be on the phone and ur calls may drop anyhow....so...u get wat u pay for...

pharmow: For those coming to Canada this January, try and bring thick winter jackets from naija. If U are the type that like eating spicy foods, bringing enough ground pepper won't be bad idea cos Oyinbo no dey eat pepper o. U can also hold on to powder milk like peak or nido milk, there milk here drives me nut (0% fat). Lastly for your mobile, the best option for student is wind mobile others are damn expensive.

but i think samsung galaxies and some phones use quad-band...so you can use phones like samsung galaxy pocket both in Nigeria and canada

@Medical awaitees hw far? Any updates...chk ur spam mail o! Cus ds mailing, may b dia new style. My intl passport came in 4rm d embassy ds evening but I had to use my drivers license tru out 2day, embassy is rili slow ds period, I hav a feeling a restructuring is being done.

They didn't give me my application reference number so I have not been tracking...they are the ones that tracked and collected the medical instruction forme,,I will go to their office tomorrow too
