men am tired of people trying to teach people hw 2 spend their funds, methinks the church has no responsibility in teach folks hw to bury wateva , Their primary responsibility is to perform the requiem ritual and go, am nt in support of extravagance at funerals bt every body should be left to decide how they want to bury their loved ones, They can bring in a phil;harmonic band from new york or rent fleas to mourn their dead, its thier business and nt anyone's.

why must marriage be a thing of torture for every young man that wants to embark on it, i have this feeling that that period does great damage to a mans cardio health and the eventually show up as some cardio disease when he is fifty which his doctor will wrongly blame on some beer he drank when he was younger, See Africa has made marriage a big headache for a young man, to have wat is consider a good celebration u need to spend at least a million naira, then come the family unit xpenditure that makes u abandon your youthful dreams of driving a Ferrari( do u remember) for the life of paying school fees and sending monies that should have been invested to make ur dreams come true to ungrateful inlaws, its nt worth it man, go at ur own pace, now its nagging for marriage next it will be her nagging that you are a failure cos u ain't like the jones.

Delilah by plain white Ts

this lyrics made true sense to me when a routine job post sent me miles from my baby. check it out.

Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Time Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice it's my disguise
I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me

Hey there Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good

Hey there Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
[ Hey There Delilah lyrics found on http://www.completealbumlyrics.com ]
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
And we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah I can promise you
That by the time we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame

Hey there Delilah
You be good and don't you miss me
Two more years and you'll be done with school
And I'll be making history like I do
You know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there Delilah here's to you
This ones for you

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me

Those soldiers were killing corrupt Nigerians irrespective of tribal origin
check ur fact again pls, Hw come no Igbo govt official was killed by Nzeogwu and his rascally bunch, is it that there were no corrupt ones, If the rascally bunch had done their work sincerely the ethnic distrust we suffer won't be here .now
check a bunch of young military officers of Igbo extraction kill two premiers out of three and surprisingly the one not killed is also igbo.

Politics › Tribunal Verdict Has Vindicated Me – Obasanjo by idupaul(op): 11:35am On Feb 27, 2008
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday said the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal which upheld the election of President Umaru Yar’Adua had vindicated his administration’s insistence that the 2007 poll was credible.Obasanjo told the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview that “the election was properly conducted.’’
Obasanjo added that the decision of the tribunal was “a vindication of the fact that my administration conducted the election to the best of our ability’’.The former president reiterated the fact that no election anywhere in the world was perfect, saying Nigeria’s could not be different. He congratulated Yar’Adua and Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan on their victory at the tribunal.

I tried going through it and i couldn't , it seem to be written in SLOW MOTION wink wink wink
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 4:33pm On Feb 26, 2008
Yar'adua a person seem to me to be the best president Nigeria has ever had. what disturbs me really is the process through which he came to power. However the bottom line is that lets allow peace to reign.
What yard stick did you use to declare this, was it the SLOW MOTION yardstick?
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 4:08pm On Feb 26, 2008
You guys need to be realistic!
What do you expect from this man?
Do you guys understand the size of enormous intangible issues OBJ intentionally left behind?
What do you expect from a man that is surrounded by thieves?

It isn't that easy to face all these unique problems as the president. It takes time; we need to slow down and give this man all the support he needs to restore things.
At least, we can say for sure the man is not stealing our money to rebuild a falling farm in his home town.

Calm down and give the man a break.
Our problems in Nigeria are not 2 years old; therefore it will take more than just few months to fix these problems.

Simmer down and stop crying, folks.
What form of neo-mediocrity are u preaching here, pls next preach this 2 ur family, i think it mite help em better,
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 3:49pm On Feb 26, 2008
Yaradua is very confused. He has no clear-cut idea what to do to fix the problems.
Confused is an understatement , I always pray that God should use him to help my people, but one look at him i wonder hw possible that is, Nigeria oh Nigeria hw did thou find thou self in tis debacle.
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 3:40pm On Feb 26, 2008
We like to destroy existing ideas in place no matter how imperfect, without making room for any kind of improvement
Be improving its good, pls when there is light water and good roads let me know, cos thats what i care bout now and nt any other thing or election, me thinks African nations are spending too much time "improving their nascent democracy and forgetting the primary reason for governance , DEVELOPMENT

We have another chance to get things right in say 2011.
The only thing we need to get right is fixing this nation.
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 2:46pm On Feb 26, 2008
How do you know the elections will be better next time?
Right now i dont even care whether election ever hold again or not, If they like they should import a new prez when the time comes or do whatever, I only want to hear the county's problems were eventually fixed.
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 2:23pm On Feb 26, 2008
@jibitoye
I am sorry, Yaradua does not owe you anything, (OBJ did not either which is why we are here now). You had no hand in him getting there. In fact, you can not hold him accountable if he fails to solve some of our problems,
your wrong, Any body that takes up the mantle to become The president /head of state or whatever of this nation owes all Nigerians a lot meaning he will take decision to better the collective lot of us all, it doesn't matter if he got there by Vote, rifles or even a god damn rocket, the fact he elected to sit there he has automatically made himself answerable to the people, See am past looking for a messiah to turn the country around , i just need the nearest devil to fix the light and other infrastructure.
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Tribunal Upholds Yar'adua's Election by idupaul: 1:59pm On Feb 26, 2008
it was about the process by which he came in
See our case is too bad now and i for one no longer cares about a process that will remove a villain and bring in another villain, gone r the times i believed a nationalistic messiah was lurking somewhere near, man i just want my country fixed in the soonest possible time and i dont need u no process to slow this down, So pls tell me Adua to fix my country now!!!!!!!!!!!

@skyblue

Its gross injustice alright, but it was one taken in cognizance of the fragile polity and for national security thus common sense had to be applied.
