Phema: So, one is entitled to 3 bags on BA? I didn't know that. Always thought it was the usual two 23kg bags. Business class get 3 bags 32kg each. Also silver and gold club members get additional baggage |

Have a 22 hrs layover in dubai (emirates have even booked complimentary hotels n dubai visas for us all) Ryt now I'm just researching hospitals buh noticed very Lil no. Of ppl re using Dallas hospitals. This I'm leaning towards taking domestic flight to el paso when it's time 4 delivery. ...arnd sept last week of the month. Buh if I see an affordable hospital in Dallas dt does guaranties not giving x-factor bills other than what's wooed. .then she'd give birth in Dallas. ..checked out arlington med centre. .buh since I don't have ppl with experience delivering there. .in a bit skeptical. chloe7: going by the email they sent fare difference is 13,148 and the rest is going to date change What annoys me most is that their customer service(wakanow) is not 24/7. It's especially frustrating when you are in another country and need to reschedule. Calling them is expensive, mails are not immediately responded to. |

dittobaby: If I may continue,
Now, the issue on ground now is that my son doesn't have a US visa. I just got his interview date today which is in April. How do I prepare for this? Do I go with him like I'm the one preparing for the interview with all my burden of proof? I am thinking they might now want to question me based on my child birth since they did not have the opportunity the last time Or do I stay back and let my husband take him (he his not traveling with us but joining us after the baby is born). Let your husband take him |

demi2000: Dear E-fam
Round 3: See that stupid immigration guy asked me why I was coming to us ? I told him for vacation and to have a baby . He said who told me I have a right to have a baby in us ? I told him I wasnt aware I didn't have a right to have a baby on us. Then he said I better go back to my country. I told him that I had lost 2 pregnancy and I wanted better medical health. He asked if i told them at the embassy that i was going to have a baby. Told him i didnt need to cos i has travelled severally to the us and i did dropbox and by the way i wasnt pregnant when i did dropbox. He said that didn't matter that I was going back to my country . He then told me to stamp my fingers and took my pic. Then he took the passports and said I shld follow him that I am going back to my country. All the guy kniw say na u are going back.Omo that is how another delay start o.
A beg pls be prepared .Jfk or no Jfk, There are racists out there and be prayerful. GOD HELP US ALL.AMEN For those that still think informing the embassy is overrated. And no,just because he didn't want to allow in doesn't mean he's a racist! |

aibisoye: House,
I made a mistake on my application. Myfather is late and i got his DOB wrong compared to the last time i submitted. I have paid and submitted online.
Does it matter? It's a minor mistake and may not matter. But if you have money to spare, you can request for a refund(it takes 3-4 weeks though). You can fill a new form and pay while u wait for the refund |

chloe7: in my own opinion which I stand to be corrected, I think you should just apply for a regular tourist visa instead of complicating it all and saying wedding but those inviting you aren't there bla bla bla, that's some long story, make your story easy since you have a visa, at least it's not only wedding you will be using the visa for, there will be subsequent vacations, let your wife and children go with a copy of your visa and biodata page to the embassy and apply for vacation, because to me the story is getting long already and you know those v.o's aren't patient before they'll start saying story for the gods Seconded. I doubt they'll be given if they try to narrate this story. Jejely state vacation and do ur homework about tourist attractions in the place |

tayoamos: I have a valid visiting visa. We are planning to go for a wedding in america with my wife and 2 kids, ages 5and 3. I have once travelled to america, spent 5 days when I was invited for a similar wedding 7 months ago, but now, the younger brother of the person whose wedding I attended 7 months back is getting married in September. Already I have an existing visa, and my wife and kids wish to go with me for the wedding. Will it be better for my wife and kids to apply for visas together or my wife alone should apply while our kids are left behind with our grandma ? although, we are desiring to spend just 5 days. Pls advice They can apply together. Just show ties to your country and be financially capable. But 5 days will be tasking for the kids |

maestro03: Hello members of the house. Kudos to you all for all the accurate info shared on this forum. My question is very simple: on a dependant's uk visa, can you have more than 2 passport numbers on it? Eg dad mom and grandmom? Such that the grandmom can travel with the child when the parents can't make it. I have even gone as far as asking an immigration officer at Heathrow, he claimed he hasn't seen one but he doesn't see why it's impossible. So guys in the house, your vast knowledge is required to assist me. Thank you. It used to be possible. Now they've limited the option to one. But I guess you can request for it under additional info |

Please while filling my children's visa application form, in the field that says 'Please give details of your parents/guardian(s) in your home country?', do I still put my name and my hubby's names even though we are travelling together with them?
Many thanks! Yes |
