How old are you? You still live in your witch mother's house and still have the guts to call her a witch, when your mates are out there hustling to better their lives and improve on their parents lots for all they went through for them. Rubbish!!! |

confusedme: thanks for the noble offer, sir. I wouldn't want my face and life pasted on the nairaland so I'd have to decline.Reduce the weight of the burden by telling ur parent the truth, the rest will fall in place. NT ---Anyone who contemplate suicide is selfish and a coward. |
Andyblaze, your stories no get part 2, e for better if you dey write scripts for nollywood and get paid for them. |
I really want to weep for my state. God, what did we do to deserve this kind of leadership? What can I say? Other nations of the world are looking in the direction of micro businesses, cottage industries etc. My state is busy buying cars in the name of "empowerment " Lord, one day you'll remember us and deliver us from this bondage. Amen. |
cdamsel: leave the matter jare, shey u don redeem ur pledge oooooMy sis,I wish I could just get an acc no without this pm eish. I don't know how to go around it on this platform. I beg make una no laugh my ignorance. |
Today is our thanksgiving service in church,I'm already running into a frenzy, the excitement is pumping my adrenaline and I just can't keep it together. I've been counting my blessings for a while now and I've really lost count. I want to use this forum to appreciate God for His faithfulness in my life and that of my family. Lord, i want to thank you for the salvation of my soul,You said the race is not for the swift nor for the strong but to those whom you willed. I thank you that I'm alive today inspite of my shortcoming . Father, you have been my present help and when I took my trouble to you,you answered me. Who will do me like you do me, You knew me by my name, you know the number of Hair on my head. Who am I that you are mindfull of, you turned my ashes to beauty and you course my enemy to be at peace with me. You planted my feet on a solid rock and you gave me a new song. You didn't give up when society gaveup on me .you gave me my dignity back. On that labour bed, you made me bring forth like the Hebrew women. You blessed the labour of my hands and prospered my fruits . In the midnight hour you turned things around .I'd for ever remain grateful . You owe me nothing, you've judged yourself faithful .you made a path in the deep for me. Lord,if I'm all mouth,it will never be enough in singing your praises. You're the rose of Sharon ,the Lilly of the valley, the third man in the furnace, the soon coming King. My everlasting Father,The one who was and is to come. The one who never sleeps nor slumber. Ama'ma amasiama, echete obi esike, ugwu ana ari anatuegwu. I give you praise. How can I forget how far YOU brought me? Nna, Nara otiti na elu kasi elu. Feel free to add yours especially those from FAMILY WORSHIP CENTRE WUYE ABJ. We might not all have the opportunity to share our testimonies on the Alter today. |
cdamsel: Ifee I dey sight u oooHow I go take give my own small change nau? |
Psalm 1 vs 1 -3. That portion of the bible gives me so much hope and assurance. |
Abuja houses are ridiculously expensive. A block of flats on our street was empty for two years after completion. The owner put each flat up for #8m per annual and insisted on corporate tenants only. |
amdman: Prayer is such a wonderful activity at this time, for even when you are weak, God is always strong, and in the place of prayer you exchange your weakness for His strength. In the place of prayer, the words that He has spoken in various times and seasons come again to mind. As you declare them, you are emboldened. It is not for nothing that He made us kings, and where the words of a king is, God says, there is power. You and wifey will definitely experience the joy of parenthood. While you are at it,He whom you hold dear to heart will give you the strength and grace to go through the process. |
I tell people to treat their helps the way they want their children treated. These " helps" stay with your kids while you guys are at work. What do you expect? You give them love and acceptance, they give back same to your children. Treat them like caged animals, your kids will get same, 'cus no one can really give what they don't have. |
Grandma, you taught me psalm 23 in Ibo even before I could say my name properly. You had faith in me even when nobody gave me a chance. You're my biggest support system in those dark days that I was so confused and didn't know how to get out of the mess I had walked myself into. You're my friend and confidant and I remember you with so much nostalgia that I have tears running down my cheeks as I type. You lived and died well. Adieu grand ma. Sorry poster, you said a line.I just could not help it. |
azeezhy: Even in your write up, there is a sting of tribalism..... What as lagos wooden bridge got to do with the tribal issue you posted. You are an intelligent person, but it fails me why you read this piece and still did not understand . |
I wish the tribal warlords will read and comprehend. |
Going to church does not make you a Christian. Having a relationship with our lord and saviour does. Without a genuine personal encounter with Christ and the bible your watch word. Then, anything can be obtained even with regular Sunday attendance. Genuine repentance is what separates the wheat from the chaff. |
We've been having it so good for a while now that we even forgot how a gen set sounds like. Though, it's been erratic for some days now it's still a far cry from what we use to experience. |
If you do not give your body rest, the body will eventually rest in peace. |
Jaynec: what are u talking abt. Pls read well b4 commenting. What are you on about? You ask for an advice, I gave you my honest opinion about the situation. Any way if you didn't understand my English, let me brakedown. Since your randy brother could not put his urge under control he should take responsibility period. |
@ Jaynec, why not calm down and find ways of working round the situation. I'd strongly believe,if you can't zip up then you should take responsibility for every of your action. When you sleep with the opposite se.x without protection, then u should bear the consequences when it comes calling. So my dear, don't get all worked up things will take it natural course. |
Some peeps will soon call this political witch hunting. I don't know much about Kwara state, but you need to come to Niger state. The self acclaimed " chief servant" is only performing on bill boards and plenty plenty grammar. |
All of these should have been out while he was still breathing and could defend himself. |
Nice article. English language is dynamic and always subject to change. |
Compound effect by Darren Hardy Page36 paper back. |
nadia_SA: am n't agree with it too ![]() |
The corruption is endemic so I won't even bother to go there. The one that really gets to me,is seeing motorists drive on pedestrian walk ways. I'm like are these people mentally okay or do we have more of lunatics behind the wheels in Nigeria? They drive on these walk ways as if it's their right and our various inforcement agencies look on haplessly and helplessly. |
Our judiciary is in two parts, one for the poor and the second for the elites. The poor----judgement is speedy, rule of law is obeyed, proper sentence is meted out without mercy. Sentence is served in an appropriate facility. The elites----judgement crawls like snail, bottledneck and dichotomy come into play. When judgement seems to be given, culprits do their time on luxury hospital beds or pay their fines from their bre..ast pockets. Anyway sha! God is watching in 3D Inspite of all, she deserve what she got. Do the crime and do the time.shekina!! |
The second song might be from these artists. Not too sure ooh! Hillstrong Natalie Grant or Israel. Can't make out the first song, sorry. |
