A ku Ojumo Gbogbo Ile O, A de ku ibere ose tuntun, ose yi a san wa s'owo, a san wa s'omo, a san wa si aiku ti'i se baale oro... Ojumo Ire O! Can we discuss the recent happening in Kogi and the effect it will have on the political balance of the state, Oodua nation and nigeria as a whole?... Recap: Prince Audu, the projected winner of the gubernatorial election lost his life before or after INEC declared the election inconclusive thereby throwing up a lacuna never for once experienced in this nation. Posers: What next? Referring to the case of Ameachi, Omehia Vs PDP or Atiku, Boni Haruna Vs INEC, can we safely say that his running mate should take up his mandate, conclude the election and possibly rule thereby breaking the age long Igala dominance? Can the APC replace him with another? What's in it for the PDP? By the way, the running mate is James Faleke an Okun man(Yoruba). Over to legal luminaries, political activists and the whole house... The law they say is an ass... This is getting interesting, all parties involved have a good chance and will get their day in court, we'll see how it goes. |

eyoniggar:Baba I sight U! What a game, what a game! Am glad I opted for a viewing center as opposed to seeing it at home, the view was awesome, the support was massive, opposition humbled... I sat beside one lousy madrid fan who almost developed a heart attack, at a point he turned to me for comfort and assurance that the drubbing will stop to save face, I smiled and said am not promising anything...and the look on his face when the Messiless one was coming in, Priceless!. To add insult to injury, the station we saw it on brought up Ronaldo-the film's advert, the guy angrily rained curses on the poor guy retorting that he used all his energy on film....Classic! On to the matter, I think we all aren't giving Lucho the credit he deserves, personally I think even the great Pep can't pull this modest results/achievements out with the big constraints... Bravo, Well I expected a fantastic performance from the team but bravo was just BRAVO! I don't know what he ate or heard before the match but I think he should be permanently placed on that diet. All in All, 6 points for bag, bragging rights for hand, Forca Barca! We Rule, They Ruse. |
darkenedrebel:Not just that, the quality of the saves! The guy just dey cry inside... |
My oh my! Fantastic performance from the team as expected but BRAVO! This Bravo is just BRAVO! All in all, it's 6 points and bragging rights for us tonight. We Rule, They Ruse, Forca Barca! |

IlekeHD:Okun awemi, o ti jo meta, se ala ni? ihon ara ule sikon? se acada e le deede? It's good to be here, reminds me of the old days... |
Firefire:Uhmm! Spot On! Wa'a gbayi baba!, opolo e o ni jona so nu! Anilo iyipada, isoniji ati itanilolobo to yanranti lati gba ogo wa ti awon ole wonyi ti fi tafala danu... We need organised, coordinated and dedicated awareness structured at re-aligning our focus and harmonizing our goals toward regional self sufficiency, We need to do away with these old order permanently pinning us down and relegating us to crumb gatherers, We need our populace especially our youths to take charge and stop charging like rabid dogs. We need regional integration to drive our economy to a stage where we'll be calling the shots just like we used to do before...Case Study: Catalonia. When this is achieved, we'll no longer be at the mercy of certain people... |
Firefire:Uhmm! Oro ki sese rago! sugbon omode wa gbudo ni suuru fun eku ida ki a to bere iku to pa baba wa nitoripe ti aja wa ba wole ti ekun bayi, blood will flow! Buhari is not the problem, the problem is the cabal presently holding the country by the jugular. These people have a hold on him so strong and intense that it'll take a miracle for the man to actually perform as expected by all. I pray he does and if he doesn't, pasan ti a fi na iyale n be lori aja fun iyawo... As for our leaders in SW, It's a pity majority of them reason upside down and only battle for their selfish needs. Imagine the huge human, material, physical and even metaphysical resources at our disposal waiting to be harnessed and channeled appropriately? But No!, they won't reason together, won't strategise! It's a pity I can't read all that has been hitherto said here but I think we should discuss the apparent disconnect between our leaders and how it's affecting the region as a whole. Indeed, It's well Omo Iya! |
zimoni:I knew the PRESSID thing was dead on arrival immediately BUHARI won, the north will always favour itself first before others and this scheme is one they hated because it went against their interest. On the issue of affirmative action, I think it will continue ad infinitum but we shouldn't worry, the north will never catch up that way, they are only succeeding in pushing us farther and higher if you get what I mean... |
Aareonakakanfo:This is good, Kudos OP! Better than the profanities currently trending. I'll try read the much I can and contribute the best I can... Greetings to some oldies on the thread, Ileke Idi, dayo kanu etc I hail! Mo ki gbogbo ile o, Ekiti Ke, In Okun!. |
Nice weekend all!

mufutau55:Amen...Thanks! I'll sure check up on you and others here when it commences. Regards! |
This is indeed awesome! I stumbled on this thread while surfing through the property section looking for tips and pointers on how to go about executing my own project. It's being scary considering the cost quotations I've been getting so far but am now highly inspired to start with what I have, thanks to great people here!. Muyesky, you are blessed! Hajji M @Mufutau55 I hail you Sir and I hail all great people who have contributed in immense proportion to this thread, am empowered!. I shall-by the grace of God-begin my project this month end and I shall be drawing heavily from the wealth of experience gathered here! |
BornSad:Thanks Bro! |
Hello House, Happy Weekend! Please I have a quick question, Can one do M Sc in Public Administration with a B Sc in Business Administration&Mgt.? Cc BornSad, jboixxx |
BornSad:Okay, I will take time out to thoroughly study the Progs via the sites provided here over the weekend. Once again, thank you for this! |
This thread is really informative, kudos to the originator and all active participants... I am really impressed and more enlightened. Please can I still apply for The M Sc Prog? When is the deadline? I'll appreciate a prompt feedback By the way, @BornSad, Don't worry, happiness will find you soon! |
I sincerely hope PDP will learn from their mistakes by not allowing this man and others of his kind back into their fold. |
I don get alert. God win. Aregbe don pay. God win. How much he pay? God win o. He pay half a month. God win oo ooooooo. My mother in law sent that to me last night, she got half month pension payment... |
Good men live on borrowed times while sanity gravitate towards dogs! |
@Topic, He can't be impeached! Not with the figure head stooges he assembled as lawmakers in the state... I fear for/pity the judge who raised this though...his life, family and career are at stake and the odds are dangerously against him... Osun state is on life support, only a drastic bail out can save the day. |
@Topic, Threat? The NLC we have now is as useless as the P in Psychology... All we ever hear are barks with no real bite. |
Do not put the total blame on Aregbesola, also blame the faulty 1999 Constitution of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria which empowers state government to create local governments while passing the responsibility of funding such creations to the federal government. To worsen it, state governments control allocations meant for these tier of govt and we all know what they do with it. Aregbesola is just exploiting this lacuna to further decieve the people as part of his pseudo-populist agenda. |
I still dont understand how The Federal Govt will handle this bail out request but If the Buhari led govt is sincere about fighting corruption then it should probe these states first because he who comes to equity they must come with clean hands! |
@Topic, It's sad that majority of the e-warriors fighting here don't even know the extent of damage this has done/still doing in Osun! Osun state is broke and has been critically broke even before the election that handed Aregbe a second term. The state is crippled with a rather large debt profile which consistently ate deep into the ever dwindling allocation from the federal government. Aregbesola had to clandestinely borrow money to pay workers salary few weeks to election to appease silent grumblings from the workforce who largely disliked him and worked against his reelection. After the elections, he used the local media to spread propaganda of hate against the ruling party then blaming it for his inability to meet obligations. This paid off for a while until people got fed up.... The truth is, the man had over exposed the state and cannot pay up unless he gets a bail out. |
Determination!
|
@Topic, The beauty of it all is that he can also be booted out with much fan fare like Jonathan...4 yrs is around the corner. To all APC squad, the party is over, help your principal deliver! And to the PDP team, re-strategise and give this nation a credible opposition that has been lacking ever since ... |
