northbird: If Bolt app on Playstore falls below 1.0 , is there any implication? apart from the obvious, ( the developers responsible for the update are blockheads) How can a serious app nosedive from 4.3 to 1.3 within few days? No implication in regards to play store deleting it... |

donfortune48: Omo. With the speed Bolt's rating is going down, Playstore fit delete bolt any moment from now oh. Poor ratings don't necessarily mean it will be deleted ..Google Chrome was massively hit with negative ratings some month back...ratings was 1 |

pope191: This is witch hurting... we are having issues, does not necessarily mean we have to wish the end for each other. Can we all come to the table and talk this over. Bolt started the witch hunting hiding under the disguise of Trust ....bolt, I think employed some new teams who are bent on making them lose a major percentage of the market ...even riders are opting to other apps and by the time, riders start getting drivers very far from them, they will start considering app that can match them with drivers with less minutes of pick up....bolt took over the market from Uber just because of having large number of drivers using their app online, which makes it easy to match mate riders with driver with few km, or just few meter pick up. If the ratings and different mails sent to them is what it will takes to show the net grievance...then let bolt feel the fire a little....they are so unlucky with the timeline of this their new madness, not during this fuel scarcity. Where you are not sure of where you will get the next fuel to power your car....just like northbird wrote earlier....you will spend hours at fuel station just to go online and start moving Lagos directionless. |

NawtieNerd: Abeg bosses I still wait una advice As a newbie..I will advice you any weekly remittance you finally agree to pay, ensure its 100% maintenance by the owner of the car.. I am sure you don't have any trusted mechanic and other car part engineer at your disposal, the owner of the car might have, so that gives him edge ...infact I wonder why a car owner who went through the stress of buying a tokunbo car and give out on rental will not ensure the repairs and maintenance is on him. (Wrong mechanic can destroy that car in matter of weeks and months). If the 28k is inclusive of 100% repairs and maintenance by the owner, it's good business. Even at 30k. Just ensure you go read much of peoples experience on the job and learn from it... |

Sagay212: Some people just need to understand that certain jobs or businesses isn't for everybody . You have all sorts of crazy people wanting to drive with uber or bolt, touts, greedy goats and people with all sorts of lousy attitude. You see some begging online that they need a car for uber/bolt and when they get the car, they start complaining about not making enough money to deliver. They don't make enough money because they are greedy touts who would turn down trips because they think the money will be too small. Some of them are so annoyingly rude to riders, asking all sorts of stu.pid questions when you order a ride and still call them because they'll refuse to call. You order a ride and call the driver's number and the phone is switched off. You can see that driver has arrived on the app, but you can't reach him and he won't call. Some will accumulate so much poor rating due to nasty attitude and then get blocked by bolt/uber. Then they come online to complain and lie about how they were unjustly blocked. They won't be able to deliver to the car owner because they are always turning down orders due to greed and overcalculation. These are the types that create threads everywhere complaining about bolt/uber while other people doing same business are cashing out because they are well behaved, patient and know how to relate professionally. Some are so good that have met customers who hire them on offline trips and pay well. When you hear about certain jobs or businesses, don't just jump into it. You need to use your head and look out for the qualities to posses to do such jobs or business. People generally need to learn how to be well behaved and this nonsense is very common with bolt drivers especially. Very nasty behaviour. E b like say your rental driver dey disappoint you...because all this your wailing is something else....so all the riders on the platform are Saint. |

northbird: Nobody get hack on how to boost drivers score. You mean, everyone has been moving Lagos with all trips.
Cos the way dis driver score was programmed, they want you to do at least 90% of trips. After taking 25%,..... walahi Bolt is crazy. The only available hack for now is don't download, or if you have, find someone with the old app to send to you via sender |

dru23: 1. I do believe you are having hard to comprehend. I will not insult your level of reading and understanding. But I will break it down to you .
I stated on the post that . "that my eyes might be playing tricks on me . but the liqui molly you bought (felicity 001) looks fake " Now which part don't u understand ... Looks fake, coming from someone into same business...are you scared or something?..you sell same product....don't hide behind your faulty eyes....it's either fake or original and if there is anyone who have some authority in spotting that . You are one of them .. So come out straight and be concise, as that statement you made is that of an hypocrite. Nothing like looks fake or looks original...it's either fake or original...come out with your full chest, not a fault eyes If the logic behind my observation is beyond your comprehension.. sorry o |

tojahh: I beg to differ sir, this is not correct.
You can use either Bolt, Corporate or BOTH even when your rating is below 4.80 Bro you have to be on 4.75 upward to be enlisted for corporate....anything less than that ..it's just bolt rides |

Havertz10: I have had this idea for a while but I didn't know who to give it to but here is it basically
Uber is a service, and there should be flexibility
I think you guys should bang together and form your own service, it will be an annual membership scheme, each passenger will pay money per trip in small doses like 40 naira to cover insurance cost for all drivers for damages based on the quality of the car, then add a flexible price per kilometer based on location + time and send the proposals to drivers in that zone, they will propose a price to the rider based on their experience traversing that route and how much they want the job
Like all things, riders will pick based on price offered and rating
Everything can be decentralized and only a small change can be removed per transaction like 20naira for service maintenance and other benefits
For those drivers that like to hug urban areas, you can put various features like 5 trips per area, but you have encourage them to drive in areas that they are more accustomed to, preferably where they live, little intuitive features like that to keep everybody happy and the service solvent
Add ride sharing, the passenger will book a destination at a time and if a driver is close, he picks them and they share the ride cheaply, social media people will love it, at a fair price it will drag with public transportation, billions of naira on offer, particularly if you have broad participation, Nigerians have stigma issues so you can call that service another name and any driver that does bad once is removed, people will meet and socialize, it will be a trending habit, too many empty cars on the road
I feel for you guys, if you have a union and band together, you can make a good living if you love driving while getting good money
There can be loans and credit facilities, insurance for it's drivers, even pensions, even car damage and maintenance insurance, the options are endless, social mobility is very possible in your industry, you people just need to realize that you are more important than the middle man Can you give practical examples ...I have read through twice but still trying to grasp the difference between this and what indriver is doing currently, with exceptions of the pecks you highlighted. I am interested, but can you please simplify with real time examples. |

MoonlightDrive: My personal experience is that the more I drive on bolt the more I see a rise in my rating. Once I start using other apps, I notice a gradual drop in my rating. Bolt rating system in Nigeria is a disgrace. I am 100% with you on this...I just assume maybe it because so many riders might have rated you high...but I still know something is fishy about bolt ratings |
