sandammy: All the helps I've been rendering drivers who needs helping in whatever way such as battery, jack or jump start cable, I actually got rewarded for them today. Alhamudullilahi.
Today that I'm off from work, make I hustle from 1 pm to 11Pm, last trip going to Chevron and hoping to meet up with bolt bonus conditions, so that I can start coming home since road for don free
It happened that 2 run girls I carry go one club for Ikoyi, changed destination to Chevron, as I was coming, I began to perceive the odour of a burnt rubber, asked these girls if they also perceive it, they said 'no', then I saw something like smoke because it was already to 11PM by then I was already on Awolowo road before that falomo roundabout.
Na so I parked and open door going towards my bonnet. Guess what I saw. Car was on fire around the headlight by the passenger side.
I wasn't aware that my attention was being called to the fire before I entered that Awolowo road because my windows were up.
immediately I saw the fire my mind just cut as no get fire extinguisher but I have 5 liter of water in my booth. Brought out the water and emptied it on the fire, by then I've quickly opened my bonnet. The fire no gree die even with the use of one of those small size extinguisher.
I thank God because one of the people telling me my car was on fire was a lady in security uniform and as she saw that we were trying to extinguish the fire, she quickly brought a bigger size of the fire extinguisher and quench the fire finally.
Imagine this had happened in a deserted area with no one to help. Person for rost inside car or loose the car to the fire. Thank God for the intervention, it pays to do good...kindly find out the root cause of the fire, so you can share, you learn and we learn as well. And I hope it didn't cause any damage. |

Muhammadson2020: .
Una don turn this thread to politics. Well may I follow una do small political analysis.
This is how 2023 Voting result will be like
Atiku Abubakar with: 10,000,000 million votes
Bola Ahmed Tinubu with 8,000,000 million votes
Peter Obi with 2,000,000 million votes
Other Candidates and party will share the remaining 3,000,000 votes
North East and North West Atiku will dominate these Geopolitical zones
South West: Bola Ahmed Tinubu will dominate
South East: Peter Obi will dominate
North Central and South South will be the determinant factor for who wins the election, especially between PDP and APC because I see Labour party Peter Obi coming 3rd.
Let's not forget the KKK's . Kano, Kastina and Kaduna favours Northern candidate more, the population of these 3 states is massive. APC used votes from these states to checkmate PDP in 2015 Goodluck Jonathan regime.
KKK is definitely going for Atiku. and that will surely big boost.
From the my analysis I think Atiku Abubakar is the next president of Nigeria. Your analysis is very simple to understand and as a matter of fact close reality ...the north will always choose their own over anyone, it's like a cultural mojo for them...Atiku was Buhari son stand-in-father when the guy do wedding ... Obi has his own following and that's why ATIKU is still seeking a synergy with him |

pope191: He will not win any state, yet win Anambra... how does that sound to you? He has all the stat needed... my in-law works with inec and he said and I quote " I have never seen this huge turn out of young Nigerians doing all it takes to get their pvc" This is not 2015 or 2019..... Peter obi may not win the general election, but he will shake the status quo and it will shaken.... Past elections the numbers of youth that come out to vote is less than those that don't and all of a sudden most of the youth is now interested in voting, and whose of the candidate did you think triggered that trajectory.....even religious leaders and artist are coming out openly to declare their candidate, if you think religious leaders and all those artist have no influence or little ones, then I will ask why the old cabals pay them millions to come to their campaign. |

donbrowser: Peter Obi cannot win a state. He only won in Apga based on existing structures. That aside, you see that awareness ehn it's sponsored by Atiku. I know his tactics very well. Don't feel too bad if I didn't pinpoint anything from the remaining part of the post. It's just unnecessary at this point.
Even if I tell you I'm not supporting Obi based on tribe, you might not believe but with what I have in front of me as Stat, Obi will not win 1 state in the coming election simple Since you have an assured stat, you really trust that point to the fact that obi won't win a state in the next presidential election ...can we make a bet of 200k then.....we pay into the account of pearl |

Pearl1910: Sorry for your ordeal. Correct me if I am wrong, this is an HP deal right. So the only thing u owe d owner of the car is d agreed weekly amount. He doesn't owe u anything.
Have u been consitent in ur payment? If No, then u have no pawn to fight with.
Did u put it down in your contract that if car is having multiple or major fault, owner will assist in fixing it or borrow u money to fix it? If No then u can't call police for him.
But if u have been paying him his money and he came and collected car from u without giving u ur down payment and all expenses d car has uncured when with u then we can go to d law.
Minus this, u have to move on, learn from your experience and let kama or judgement be on his head, if any exists.
Truth is anybody buying a used car, whether outright payment or HP has to keep substantial money aside for unforseen repairs. I used to say 200k but now that prices of things have gone up that amount should now be 300k.
Sorry again. Instead of d emotional torture trying to fight for 100k from this man, if this is verified we can raise go fund me for u. I know men here can do that cos this ur story touch me well well. If the story is true and can be verified...I am ready to support any account given with a little sum. The route he can use to get his money back is a long thing and he might even have to pay some money ....I hope he learns from this and as well others ....always take pictures, videos and record conversations it might come handy and needed. |
