Pickup a rider at elegushi beach on Monday at about 10:49pm and when he called he told me he was going to ajao estate... App started malfunction so I couldn't start trip after several turnung1 off and on of my phone... I was already aiming to go home. Las las we settled for offline at 6k with much begging saying that's all he has... He talk like correct guy and speak same language as me amd was with a lady.

The lady sat right behind me and he right beside me in front, the trip was fill with lot of gist and he was fantilating about my car with lot of mouth praises what a big boy I am using a Benz for Uber... We got to Lateef Salami, Ajao Est and Gmap was still reading 15km to destination. I slowed down... Quickly change to wafi (warri slang) bros abeg where you say you dey go again?
He said Isheri... I looked at the map... The place is after Igando... Me? No way! I just oulled over where those baba taxi men dem dey... Abeg make una come down I no dey go again... After much argument, talk and begging I agreed to take them to canu where he told me at first so i can get my 6k but this idiot boy started bursting how he would have dealt with me if it was day time. I pulled over again and kicked their ass outta my car... The lady asked him to pay me he said he'll do 3k... I told not to bother if it 3k... Collected my account details and bank started hanging like our General time was going... I dropped my account details to him and zoomed off.

Next morning I sent him a WhatsApp message... Screenshot attach within...

The guy called after about 1hr... I was very drunk the previous night reason I didn't argue much with him nor sent a message... He called and was cursing and bragging how he'll find his father and mother where ever they are... I told him look here young man, shey you're from ebuzor? If you don't mind yourself I'll fish you out with a hook... Send my money those words are not just mere words ooh you can't run me street never!

I asked him to send 5k instead but about 10min later he sent 3k... Na so I carry my phone chat am and reverted the curse i placed on him.

The thing that baffles me is their empty threat to deal with a service provider for a service he already rendered.

I don't get restricted to card trips on Bolt cos I preempt all the moves.

Solution : for weekends, transfer like 10k to Bolt before COB Friday. that way Sat & Sun is covered.It's still your money.

very easy, use your bank app. In the narration, put in your "reference number" within an hour or tops 2 hrs, ur 10k is sitting in your wallet.

It will still fail, if you do more of cash trips the following day, especially this period, I did that on Friday and still got cash restriction on Saturday, all you need is just completing like 5 long trips on 1.9 which was my case and I immediately made another payment and uptill now it's yet to reflect.

Thank God for life.....but we really need to implement speed limit in this country, esp Lagos

Abeg bolt get sense...who else noticed the delay in bolt in calculating their commission, they intentionally did that, so that you can complete more trips before the calculation react to blocking you automatically if your surpassed the threshold (-7000)...nice one from the bolt team. Before the next day it will calculate and if it's more than -7k, you will cash restricted.

The way around the above is to pay your commission through any of first bank, GtB or union bank, any of these bank app payment will reflect in less than 1hr on working days and about 3hrs on Saturday and Sundays.

Plus judging by this your current confirmation and acceptance percentage....you may likely not get it as u will need close to 15 trip to up the percentage to the required without no further cancelling and trip rejection

Most time, after I finished a trip, another trip will enter but google maps will be hanging so much that it won’t load up the direction to the rider’s pick up point and as such I won’t be able to proceed with the trip.

I won’t even be able to operate the phone or cancel the request. It will just be freezing somehow.

Already Planning to get a small android phone specially for this, but will still love to know if it is my phone that has issues.

The phone does not hang atall if I am using normally without using gmaps for long.

Phone is iPhone XS.

I think the last update version of the bolt app came with some tech glitches, I hope they rectify and release a new update soon

A rider just told me she sent driver 12k instead of 1,200 till today she never get her money back. Driver has blocked her.

That's y I tagged it risk ..... But then I tend to think drivers on the platform are somehow nice towards each other ..I have met some nice few and I have rendered some helping hand to few as well.

Why not ask him to use pos to send to you. Or the worst risk scenario, use the bolt app to order a driver very close to the hotel, call and explain to him and ask him to take the 2k and transfer the 4k to you

I made a payment of 3400 since Monday and erroneously put Bolt account number in the place of my reference number.

I have contacted Bolt support severally but they are not helping at all. This is frustrating.

Just seeing this.....write support and send them the transaction ID, it's late now but tomorrow call the bolt landline and explain to them, your prove is your transaction ID since you didn't input the correct reference number....also send a mail copying uche and ensure you spell out your transaction ID and payment name boldly that what will be used to reflect your payment manually.

Immediately you go below the threshold of 3k you will be unblocked....I was blocked some hours ago but I cleared it just now (thanks to the bonus as well) and I have been unblocked already

Paid waiting on 1.9 surge means a lot. So it's common sense to just cancel and reorder

They are yet to pay me my balance, since 2weeks. I also picked someone yesterday evening, from Awoyaya to chemist Finbarr's road, with all the mad traffic I encountered, money came to 6k.

My phone is very good. My network is also very good. Bolt is really messed up. I beat my chest and say it again and again...they are messed up big time. Uber is the best!

Don't answer question based on sentiment always say the fact. What the guy asked, is if traffic affect pricing and the obvious answer is yes.... Awoyaya to st finbarrs road without surge is always like 4,800 or 5k with normal traffic and yours end at 6k, traffic played its role.

I still intiated a fast payout yesterday and get paid, if bolt is yet to pay you and you have positive balance payout yourself or complain to them.

It does increase it....bolt takes into consideration km covered and time spent in calculating the final price, let's stop the misinformation.

If you think the final price of a ride is not accurate, report to bolt and they will recalculate it.
sometimes the problem is your phone network, data depletion, and gps inconsistency of your phone.

Traffic increases fare, surge increases fare, paid waiting increases fare, going extra kilometer increases fare, all this I know and I am very sure about.
