I was given numbers of photographers to call o. I rang the first one and was given a bill of 250K per child shocked , for a second I thought my ear was paining me. cheesy Second one was 180K per child last . na so the thing be ? sad

Good morning mama's. Happy Sunday!!

Mama's that have travelled for days with babies 6 months upward, please how did you handle their food?
We will be travelling for a function and staying in the hotel and am trying to figure out how to make and feed LO. LO doesn't take cereal so it makes it difficult, formula is sometimes but does well with purees, solids and pap which will be difficult to prepare.

Secondly, where can o get jar food 7m+ in Lagos? Most store stocked up purees and porridge I need proper food.
Depends on hotel. Buy your bottled water , use room kettle (If provided ) and boil water for pap and formula. If there's no kettle, then get yourself one of those handy electric water boiler.

Solids?eat from hotel menu especially if it's a la carte or find a decent eatery or restaurant around. Make sure the food is served hot and fresh (to keep away germs) then blow cold for baby.

Purees? Lots of Gerber and Heinz packaged purees on the shelves of most supermarkets. Ready to eat. Check for the expiry dates.

.

pls go to a pharmacy and ask for Nizoral shampoo.AFter washing, rub Olive oil or coconut oil on the head and leave it to dry then gently comb out the flakes.

Nb
Is there Nizoral for babies cos the Nizoral I know is very strong. Would never put that on a babies hair.

@Tamy, have you tried bathing your baby with red acalypha leaves, then apply a generous amount of coconut or olive oil on the head? Basically make sure the hair is hydrated or moist with oil during the day ,The ela will come off as you comb out.

Double Tueh even! Isn't it better they take that child away from her? It's clear she's a failure and would rather save her marriage (Ndi my husband's house) than protect her child. She doesn't deserve custody!

you don't want justice then continue to cry and 'allow God to judge'!

It took you this long to realize that all the OP wants is pity party. I knew that the very first day I read it!!!

Which serious mother/family will come on the internet to ASK for how to deal with a rabid, cursed 16 years old raaapist? Reading the OP's pathetic excuses and explanations (from her sister, herself and whole family) will only make you wonder truly what crime you have committed by sharing same country and air space with some things.

It covers admission advisory services, visa advisory, mock SATs, use of their library/resources etc all for 1 year. I'll suggest you go to the US embassy near you(Lagos or Abuja) for more enquiries.

I am more familiar with the Abuja office. I registered with them for graduate studies while my friend's daughter registered for undergraduate studies. She's in school now. For UG, you have to be a straight A student or for graduate, 1st class/2.1. They don't take in lower grades.

When you pay, you'll be given an ID card to enable you have access to the office. An adviser will be attached to you who will put you through the admission requirements. For UG, you have to have a certain SAT score and above 100 in Toefl. For grad, above 300 in Gre and 100 in Toefl. You'll also get familiar with the embassy and visa officers as they organise talks with VO's too. If you're in Abuja, I could give you a number of one of their advisors
Thank you very much. This would have been perfect if the boy was living with me but unfortunately, he's living with his parents somewhere in the south east.

I have however gotten a hang of it and we have proceeded. Thank you!

Don't go to Ghana with this plan. No Ghanaian will patronize you for noodles and Tea. Even if you learn how to make noodles like they do ie with lots of veggies, they will not patronize you.

Dunno If Nigerians living in Ghana will be interested enough in Naija style noodles to patronize you.

Thank you. Just checked out the site and I'm kinda not sure about their services. Any idea what student membership covers?

Sorry but I'm not sure I've got any advisory for you BECAUSE I am not a fan of starting/trying a business venture with a loan. I'm old school and firmly believe that the best way to start a business is by saving up for it yourself that way :
You'd be super extra careful before you dabble into anything considering that you'll always remember how hard you laboured, deprived yourself of certain pleasures before you could put the money together.

If the business flops, you cry, pick up some lessons and move on without hbp as opposed to thinking of how to repay gbese if it was a loan.

All the best. Shine, Shine, Shine your eyes. Real business in Nigeria grows slowly. . . Don't expect to make much profit or hit a jackpot in your first 3 years. It takes at least 4 years to break even. If anyone tells u otherwise or lures u into a fast money making venture be ready to lose your money. Since you asked for my opinion let me quickly add that I would return that money if I were you so I can have rest of mind. I can only accept or take loans for dire health issues :- my opinion.

In everything please avoid agents (some might be real, some might be fake) however it is also best the young lad comes on this particular thread and asks reasonable questions, am sure he will be duly guided/directed. i am certain he can handle everything all by himself.

He would need to get an Int'l Passport if he doesnt have one yet, write the SAT & TOEFL/IELTS.
Lol. I'm too old to have any sort of discussion with any agent. Thanks

He already has an international passport. I'll try and see if I can get the steps myself (I already know about SAT etc and will trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry and find time to Google more about it egwhen to write the exams bla bla) THe biys parents arw not intwrested in sending him to study in US but i am (boy is too intelligent to waste his time here, my opinion) so the onus falls on me.

Whole of Nigeria? mbok. I hear you ohhh. Unfortunately, i dont have any point to buttress this your FACT but i am 100% certain that is not true. No one is doubting the tourist there but please spare me. There is nothing fancy in cape coast apart from the tourist attraction. Dry as hell, with bad roads, primitive people everywhere. For security, i dont live there so i can ascertain the security in that area.
YES. Cape coast have more foreign unpaid Volunteers than the whole Nigeria, not more NGO. Big difference.

Okay madam. I hear you. If education is so free why do the average Ghanaian want to send their children to private school. The primary education is a disaster as stated by some Ghanaian i have worked with and i am sure they are not lying. And this is one of the reason why most of them are working hard to send their children to school.

Also for your information, the free education in ghana is for newly entry student. The old students are still paying and thats why some Ghanaian are not having it funny

And do you also know that in some state in Nigeria that education is free? Up to secondary school too. Yes!

So we should stop painting our own country bad because whatever we say here will surely be used against us in the future
Your friends send their wards to private schools because their wards didn't pass the entrance exams to top and highly competitive Ghana senior high school.

My grand daughter is currently at Accra girls and boy, she stands tall and proud besides her siblings here at one British private school collecting lots of $$$ per annum sad

No one is running Nigeria bad here. The country is BAD. No one was comparing Nigeria with Ghana, at least not me.

Ghana is not perfect but you see the citizens, Government, everyone trying to move their country forward. Drop trash on the floor and get abused even by a kid to pick it up, jump queues and get thrown out, get caught collecting bribe/abusing your position/breaking work ethics and get sacked, probed and imprisoned. Can same be said of Naija? (Since you have somehow roped me in into this Ghana V Naija thingy) my tenant in Lekki by_passed the meter I installed in the house and I got to know. I have called and emailed eko disco for over 2 weeks endlessly to report the matter but guess what they did? NOTHING. Try and touch your ECG connection in Ghana.

I don't know dear but fact is I CAN never allow any of my grand kids attend a Nigerian government ran school. I attended one myself in the good old days and it was free. Dunno about now.

Look at what has become of Queens College, Qrc Onitsha etc. cry

There's no over hyping. Cape coast is miles, thousands of miles ahead ilesa. Actually it's an insult to attempt to compare both.

Good road,Power, security, good governance aside, do you talk about it's brimming tourist attractions? Cape coast have more ngos with foreign volunteers yearly than the whole of Nigeria :- FACT.

We have not read or heard of those obroni volunteers getting kidnapped or missing. Try that in Nigeria. I run with a group of Chevron expats here in Lagos and on every run, we have dedicated number of mopol armed to the teeth as escort still man heart dey shake. cheesy
