Time2Smile: To the best of my knowledge 1) The most recent academic year should be SS3. Thus, the courses here should be those the student took in SS3/WAEC.
2) Nigeria uses three(3) terms in a year, so it should be Trimester.
3) The title of the courses in 1 above.
4)I don't know, but none will work here.
5)Full year. The SS3 final exam and WAEC is based on a full year's work.(Actually 3 years of study)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz5W97XmNw8
sick world we live in . I pity parents who hands over their children to religious men for ANY reason.
TheMadame: I just watched the video and I feel like throwing up. Five sisters from one family abused by this monster who escaped justice by dying before he could be charged to court.
I just watched one of the videos. So sick.
Why did the family accept to be paid off initially?

biterkola: Unfortunately you sound like someone with serious self esteem issues, you pushed him,he pushed you,you both exchanged words,I don't see why he's acting all the drama and you are doing like someone who has no back bone.
Stop hiding under "what will people say" ,come out and own your desperation,I even smell it from your write ups.Its not a crime please, someone must always have the upper hand in any relationship. Its clear your husband not only has that but is using you to play ball & you are going round in circles trying to decieve yourself, claiming other people are coercing you/forcing you to do babiyana..
You may have a needy personality, there's no crime in that, own it.
Your life,your choice.
Keep begging,he will leave again and you must continue begging.
nahzyla: Hi all, what can I give to relieve a baby that is stooling due to teething, he poos like four times a day. It'd worrying, tho he eats ogi well but I feel the stooling is too much. He is seven and half months. Thanks
Up your hygiene level in the house. Clean and mop everywhere as many times as you can.
He is stooling because he drools + itchy gums and puts everything including dirty hands, bibs, remote, in his mouth.
iykbethany: Hello everyone I hope you all are doing great. You will recall I came here several months ago about my moms spinal cord problem. I wanted to fly her to the UK but the UK visa was taking too long, I also wanted to try Israel, contacted many Israeli hospitals online, Lisa Kurztag, Medical Consultant of Herzliya Medical Center (www.hmcisrael.com) told me it will take 1 month because their embassy in Nigeria was going to close for long period bc of some holidays in Israel or something like that so I decided to fly my mom to India because she was in serious pains and the doctors in Nigeria said she need the surgery urgently to avoid paralysis, death or stroke.
While in Abuja for moms UK visa processing we went to Primus just incase, to be honest I didnt like the place, its just like your normal Nigerian hospitals. Yes there were many Indian doctors and nurses at Primus facility in Abuja, but I said to myself if it must be handled by Indians then I have to take her to the best hospital in India. Another thing that convinced me to go to India was the fact that most of the top doctors in Europe, Australia and America are Indian doctors. Infact out of the 5 UK hospitals that replied, 3 of them had Indian doctors heading their Neurosurgery department including (KING'S COLLEGE HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST).
Choosing a hospital in India wasn’t easy for me because I don’t want any mistakes. I know that God is the giver and taker of life but I also know that in good hospitals the chances of mistake is minimal. So I choose Indraprastha Apollo Hospital New Delhi over Fortis and other Indian hospitals because Appollo Hospital seems to be the best hospital group in India for spinal cord surgery, its also the most expensive, every Indian I met complained about the high costs.
Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals (JCI USA accredited) is one of the oldest and most prestigious multi-speciality tertiary acute care hospital in India. With 52 specialties under one roof, Apollo Hospital is one of the most sought after destinations in Asia for healthcare).
Another reason I choose Apollo Hospital Delhi is because the Orthopaedic Surgeon that will handle my mom’s case, Dr. Yash Gulati seems to be among the best in India. Online research shows that DR. YASH GULATI was personal doctor to the president of India and he also has the following national Awards in India.
Padma Shri National Award by president of India Dr. B.C Roy National Award. Hon. Surgeon to President of India (2016)
PROFILE OF THE TREATING DOCTOR (DR YASH GULATI):
DR. YASH GULATI Specialization: Orthopaedics and Spine Department: Institutes of Spine Location: Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi Qualification: MBBS, MS (Ortho), Mch(Ortho) England, Dip Sports Medicine Dublin

Commendation from President, Indian Orthopaedic Association. Commendation by Delhi Orthopaedic Association. ‘Romesh Chander’ Best Doctor Award for his Service to the Elderly. Commendation Award by International President of Lions Club. ‘Chiktask Ratna Award’ given by Akhil Bhartiya
Swantrata Lekhak Manch. Awarded ‘Distinguished Service Award’ by President New Delhi IMA, New Delhi on Doctor’s Day June. Commendation Certificate from Aligarh Muslim University for teaching Spinal Surgery to Teaching Faculty in Orthopaedic & established Spine Surgery. Commendation certificate from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, for Teaching. Best Paper Award, Annual Orthopaedic Conference, Delhi.
The above CV/awards is what gave me the confidence to treat my mom at Apollo Hospital.
Once I chose Apollo over other hospitals, I contacted Apollo team via whatsapp/email and requested for Support Letter to enable me to apply for a Medical visa from the Indian embassy in Nigeria. Within 24 hours the support letter was sent to me, so I booked our tickets and departed to Abuja.
We got the Indian visa the next day bc I made sure i met the Indian ambassador to Nigeria and explained my moms situation to him. He was a nice man.
Travel from Abuja to India was smooth, it was Emirates flight. Same as coming back. Good weather, good pilot and very friendly cabin crew.
It was my first time in India so I really didn't know what to expect. I have read many negative things online so it will be good to see things as it is. Anyways I will concentrate on the medical journey.
Once we landed at Indian airport Apollo Hospital staffs were already on ground to receive us, they gave us free ride from Airport straight to the hospital. We were directed to the international department to register and book appointment to see our consultant which is Dr. Gulati.
I wouldn't want this to be too long so in summery we met our consultant, he examined mom, asked her some questions and then recommended several scans, xrays, tests etc which we did.
In conclusion I want to say that Dr. Gulati may be good but he is very arrogant or will I say proud. In India they told me that he is a celebrity doctor, and very rich man, maybe thats why he talks to patients anyhow. For example, they gave me bill saying they will use screws / implants, but on our second consultation with him he said he think he may not use screws and I said sir I hope if you dont use screws it will not make us to come back for another surgery. Instead of explaining things to me he bluntly said "IF YOU LIKE I OPEN UP THE WHOLE PLACE AND PUT SCREWS". Fear catch me sef. I am your patient and this is your profession, why not calm the Bleep down and explain it to me better. I did some google search and saw that many Indians are complaining about his attitude too.
He never gave us enough time to talk to him, during each consultation he is always busy with his pen, once he is done writing he asks one question and he is done, you have to leave. Maybe bc there are tons of people waiting to see him, I dont know. But other Indians spend 10 minutes in his office, I take note of everything that happened in the hospital, my secret camera is always busy....
I thank God that my mom is fine now though he still complains of pains but Dr. Gulati said its ok since the pains is not like before and mom can stand well now better than before but not perfectly standing.

LUCAS99: Does he have a transcript from his high school?
All the above information should be available in his transcript.
He needs to go back to his High School and request for both official & unofficial transcripts to enable him fill out the Uni Application.
Thank you very much. He does not have a transcript but I have called them now and they will try to get one immediately school resume in Sept. I hope it will be easy to get in the village where he is.
Any information or input on the second set of questions ? I appreciate. Thank you.

Good morning all. Please I'm stuck with the following questions on the Uni application :
1. Grades : a Graduating class size (option of numbers 10 to 50) does it translate to his SS3 class size ie number of pupils in his class? b Class rank reporting (Option of none, exact, quartile, decile, quintile) c Cumulative GPA(no options to chose from) d GPA scale(Options of numbers 4 to 10) e GPA weighting (options of weighted and unweighted)
PS: Applicant have only WAEC RESULT and applying as undergraduate.
rvpbae: Is it absolutely necessary or recommended to deworm at 6months?
Absolutely necessary? I'm not sure. paediatricians seem to have two opinions on this ; some say first deworming should be at 6 months then next after 6 months interval while some believe first dose should be at 1 year.
hiteelong: Good day house Hope we are enjoying the holiday. Please my 5 month old baby has this on his back, I’m not sure if it’s eela.... pls what can I use it’s spreading now Thanks
Did you scratch it or applied anything?
Stop using sponge on him. Or try to force peel the skin. Don't apply cream or any concotion on it. Does he sweat a lot on his back? Reduce the layers of clothing you wear him. A breathable cotton singlet is fine so long as the room is warm/ room temperature. Double rinse his clothes after washing. If you are using fabric conditioner stop.
Apply Ori or pure coconut oil only for 3 days and if no positive change, you might need to take him to a dermatologist.
nnekaike: Good morning ma,you can try and check out @Seggszphotography on IG. The guy is good and very affordable, he charged me 25k for pictures+1 frame+ mini photobook or album(I choose album so he can reduce the money to 20k ) and soft copies of the pictures.
I think most of the photographers charge so much because of their popularity. That's how one charged me 1million as if after the wedding its pictures I will be eating.
25K? Did he get the props, backdrop etc for that price?
Thank you. I have found a lady that is warm and a bit affordable.
zaynie: I don't do photoshoots o. They are cute and mushy but mehn I have a scale of preference I have to follow. I am a decorator myself, by the time I enter Iponri and find everything, call my photographer from way back, carry my pikin set well well....picture go shele. Patapata 10-15k. I'll keep my props for later or dash my friends or siblings or use in my classroom sef.
When parents come to take birthday pictures in my class sef, you need to see how they ooooh and aaaaah at the decor.
But that my photographer friend now runs from me o , he must be tired of my Ijebu ways
Iponri? Wish I saw this earlier . . .
Finally settled for a 150K offer and that includes photo book and a frame. Thanks
lightedpath: that's the quotation you would get. What I did was to get the props myself and went to a good studio around. I paid the normal charge for a session Not without begging them to be gentle on us since its a baby. Paid less than 10k.
Where did you get the props?
Kinda too late already as we have settled for Modu photos. Her works were the only ones that stood apart to me amongst the lot that were quoting thousands.
One lady actually quoted half a million per child. I dey go learn photography
