PointB: In which way is it actually ridiculous? What exactly is the Eze expected to do, besides commenting (posting)? If and when the Eze decides to work offline, most of the activities will still be limited to 'commenting' or..?

If you can't provide tangible and workable suggestion to this question. I suggest you stop terming other people's comment as 'ridiculous.'. I don't know what problem such comments seek to address.
The problem my comment seek to address is you butting into a question i asked Only Truth.
You tried to make a dry sarcastic joke out of my suggestion that the eze can and should besides screaming and fighting here, engage in other meaningful ventures offline aimed at addressing and correcting the ills in our current society especially with the youths.
I demand you read and apply ya advise to your very self before quoting me next time.In other words;stick to your lane.

PointB: If the Eze doesn't comment what else would he be doing? Getting us jobs, wives, husbands, boy/girlfriends, houses, or building roads, schools, hospitals on Nairaland? And how exactly is he even going to do that if he does not starting by visibly commenting?

No one is suggesting a particular leadership style to the new Eze in any case. All previous commentator only ask him of one thing and one thing only - that he shows leadership. I believe also that he has explained his constraints and willingness to lead. I personally don't expect him to lead the line like OnlyTruth did, but he can lead the line like only Odumchi could and achieve similar or better result!

Daalu nne.
I repeat, the bolded is ridiculous and lame.
Thank you

Ridiculous right?
Whats more ridiculous is having Only Truth declare commenting as the only job of the eze. Please, put on your reading glasses and check the whole thread.Thank you.
Their should be a healthy balance and moreover, the Eze elect have given us a preview of his plans. To work online as much as he does offline.

On the flip side, some of the baby men here do need help with getting a wife and all what.Seriously. cheesy
Politics › Re: The Second Eze Ndi Igbo Parliamentary Office by ifyalways(f): 9:32am On Feb 04, 2013
Onlytruth: @ifyalways,

Yes I maintain that the Eze's only duty here (if you really digest the full import of the constitution) is only to comment and nothing more. He uses his comments to:
movitate, inspire, credits, enables, leads and empowers Ndigbo; and his immediate sphere of influence is really only Nairaland. We have ENYI (a separate brick and mortar organization) that does everything "action oriented". We were very clear about those things when we designed them.

I don't even want to dwell on it, because it is trite that if the Eze fails to do these, he will be sidelined by Igbo people almost instantly (you know our people's restlessness!). The inspiration and crediting portion (to Igbo psyche) is so crucial that nothing else can stand if they are missing.

So, let us all help our Eze to keep focus on his duties before it becomes too late.
Please, who "decided" the ezes duties here?
Why should an eze be limited to just "commenting" ? And I might as well add, to comment ONLY what a sect of Igbos want to hear, in other words a puppet .

Thank God that I'm just ify and not Odumchi or Ogugua cheesy

Thanks anyway.
I think they should be given a free hand to pick a leadership style, we can now come in to advise or criticise accordingly.

Good job,SurveyProf.
Whoever is going to the address should be careful and go with 2 or 3 friends.Dont disclose on this thread or tell anyone offline when you intend going.
Be discreet,no go tell anyone there any story. The best way to gather information is by engaging petty traders/hawkers around the hood.Dress to mix with the environment. No forming, swagger or anything that would give you away as a visitor.

Good luck guys.

Only Truth my post was not addressed to you, was not about you so please stop carrying it on your head.
I LOL @ "don't let anybody push you otherwise" line. In all honesty, does Odumchi, even pre eze-ship come across to anyone as a push over?I think some of you need to "study" cheesy his profile religiously. That said, asides the forum, I have never had any outside dealings/talks/communications with the eze and eze nwanyi. I'm just saying, so we go easy with the "sarcasms"

Only Truth, who decides the "only" job/work of the eze?hmmmn

Same old garbage. Can we just take a back seat, put on our "follower" robe and give our elects a chance and free hand to do their duties.
Eze Promoe is doing a good work with his igbo learning thread, we can do more. Anyi nwere umunne anyi na-acho Oru, ndumodu, enyemaka etc online, anyi nwere ike ibido townhall youth meetings in our various towns/countries,election is fast approaching, what can we do? Those are some of the areas we should exploit, not wasting bandwidths arguing with Dayo, Bluetooth and co. We've done that and so far, its yielded ZERO positive returns. Anyone that feels that "arguing or debating" non-stop is the way to get the herd home should do so but don't expect our eze to do so ALWAYS.

We talk, fight, argue but the question is, who have we convinced, won over or terminated? NONE !!!

Berem, happy new darling. kiss
Btw, okija, happy married life. Nwa Nwoke na nwanyi, aku na uba,aru ike na ogologo ndu. Isee.

Oh please, not again this year. Can we just put a break to the whining already angry its extremely embarrassing. angry embarassed

@Eze Odumchi have made his stance known on Biafra Issue. It is what it is . . .his opinion.
Its rather pathetic that anyone that does not agree with a certain group or persons here is termed a saboteur. cheesy whats there to Sabo, biko?
Berem, what do we stand as Ndi Igbo nld to gain from an Eze or individual thats seen going from thread to thread to fight?some people have been internet warriors for a long time on nld, what have it profited the Igbos here?
If we spent half the energy we use on engaging in fruitless, meaningless drivels and debates on nld in helping each other, starting up an online-offline Igbo community project etc,ala Igbo would be progressing.

Odumchi was never in the league of empty barreled debaters here.I didn't see him to be so and that's why i voted him.If you wanted an all noise/fart and no action eze,you ought to have voted and campaigned for such an individual last year.

Lets give the newly elects time, support to work or hit the highway. My opinion
