Using pampers as opposed to 'napkins and pin'

Having golden morn for breakfast instead of akamu/ogi.

Going to school with a lunch pack of noodles, eggs and juice instead of kwulikwuli, baba blue and ekpa.

When their peers push them, they go "I'll tell my mommy for you" instead of feeding the offender sand. cheesy

MegaMan2020: Probably Igbo. they dont really have much culture or tradition of their own so they are more likely to marry other tribes and African Americans and adopt their cultures.

I'm a Yoruba man and even though my family have no problem against others I doubt they would be too interested in me marrying an African American/Caribbean woman. It's all a culture thing at the end of the day. Marry Yoruba women, raise Yoruba children, continue Yoruba traditions. That seems to be the idea and I have no problem sticking
with it.

Culture › Re: Is It Appropriate To Look At Elders In The Eyes When Having A Discussion? by ifyalways(f): 6:13pm On Jan 05, 2013
Depends on who the elder is to you and the topic of discourse.

Eye to eye contact won't be disrespectful if its an old relative asking of your family's welfare, same for an elder asking for directions or help.

When an elder is giving counsel, settling dispute, praying or blessing a younger person, its best not to maintain eye to eye contact as it might appear rude.

My personal opinion oh.
