@ fellis, how do we know he doesn't use condoms?
How am I sure his wife, the mom is not aware of the "arrangement" ?

I wasn't there when they set parameters for their marriage and I'm not gonna pokenose .

I have my husband and kids to look after no time to chase my pop around. How they live their lives is NOT my business. They are happy, live under one roof, no case of abuse or violence and that's all there is to it. kiss

I'll rather he live or die a happy man kiss(wherever he finds it) than nag and frustrate him to death with aproko and idle pokenosing.

Btw, when you "catch" him and tell the wife what next?
Flog or ground him?
Fight and kill the "other lady" ?
Roll on the floor and beg him to stop?
Ask your mom to get a divorce then marry her?

Hahaha. I just dey laugh.

PS: its a different case when "the mom/wife" finds out herself and confides in her kids or when the affair is affecting the "dad/husband" negatively. The children in such circumstance can come in and together find a "peaceful" solution.

Culture › Re: What Has Black Man Contributed To The World? by ifyalways(f): 8:43am On Jan 05, 2013
I read this story somewhere. Thought i should share. . .

A very humorous and revealing story is told about a group of white people who were fed up with African Americans, so they joined together and wish themselves away. They passed through a deep dark tunnel and emerged in sort of a twilight zone where there is an America without black people. At first these white people breathed a sigh of relief. At last, they say, no more crime, drugs, violence and welfare. All of the blacks have gone!! Then suddenly, reality sets in. The "NEW AMERICA" is not America at all only a barren land! There are very few crops that have flourished because the nation was built on a slave-supported system. There are no cities with tall skyscrapers because Alexander Mils, a black man, invented the Elevator, and without it one finds great difficulty reaching high floors. There are few if any cars because Richard Spikes, a black man, invented the Automatic Gear Shift. Joseph Gammell, also black, invented the Super Charge System for Internal Combustion Engines, and Garrett A. Morgan invented the Traffic Signals. Furthermore, one could not use the Rapid Transit System because its precursor was the electric trolley, which was invented by another black man by the name of Elbert R. Robinson. Even if there were streets on which cars and a rapid transit system could operate, they were cluttered with paper because an African American, Charles Brooks, invented the Street Sweeper. There were few if any newspapers, magazines and books because John Love invented the Pencil Sharpener, William Purvis invented the Fountain Pen, Lee Burridge invented the Type Writing Machine and W. A. Lovette invented the Advanced Printing Press. They were all, you guessed it, black. Even if Americans could write their letters, articles and books, they would not have been transported by mail because William Barry invented the Postmarking and Canceling Machine, William Purvis invented the Hand Stamp and Phillip Downing invented the Letter Drop. The lawns were brown and wilted because Joseph Smith invented the Lawn Sprinkler and John Burr the Lawn Mower. When they entered their homes, they found them to be poorly ventilated and poorly heated. You see, Frederick Jones invented the Air Conditioner and Alice Parker the Heating Furnace. Their homes were also dim. But of course, Lewis Latimer invented the Electric Lamp, Michael Harvey invented the Lantern and Granville T. Woods invented the Automatic Cut-off Switch. Their homes were also filthy because Thomas W. Steward invented the Mop and Lloyd P. Ray, the Dust Pan. Their children met them at the door barefooted, shabby, motley and unkempt. But what could one expect? Jan E. Matzelinger invented the Shoe Lasting Machine, Walter Sammons invented the Comb, Sarah Boone invented the Ironing Board and George T. Samon invented the Clothes Dryer. Finally, they were resigned to at least have dinner amidst all of this turmoil. But here again, the food had spoiled because another black man, John Standard, invented the refrigerator.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: A Fresh Graduate Got A Job As A House Help Instead Of A School Manager by ifyalways(f): 8:09am On Jan 05, 2013
@topic, are you business savy?we all can't be entrepreneurs. That's the first thing you'll ask yourself.

Does the househelp job come with accomodation and would you have enough time to continue job hunting from there?

Scenario 1:
You reject this offer. Keep job hunting. Your saved 100K would reduce to 50K after 3 months.
Scenario 2:
You reject this offer, keep job hunting and get something good within 2 months.
Scenario 3:
You dabble into oil biz and do well.
Scenario 4:
Go into oil or any other biz, lose your money.
Scenario 5:
Take the househelp job. Free food, save 10K each month, keep on job hunting from there.

Your decision to make.
All the best.

kenx1: Thank you for your contribution. The fact is he's the owner of the company, no staff in the company stay a max of 3months because they can't cope with his attitude. Its really frustrating imagine calling me a fool, bastard and my family are retards from the slum. I can't cope with him
wow, s/he has serious emotional and psychological issues. Could even be an addict.
Theoretical advice is to ask you to confront him, report him to trade union or resign but reality is : its Naija, he'll win you Cos he has the cash. When you resign, what's next?

I can't give you another job, feed or pay your rent so my advice, endure but keep looking online, networking with friends and even clients for another job.

All the best.

Is he just your unit head or the CEO?

If he's a regular employer like you, send an annonymous email to the company and report him. Be very careful and make sure its not traceable.

If he's the CEo, man up, ignore him, do your work diligently and be on the look out for other jobs.

On the flip side, you're probably better off than your bully. S/he is in a worst condition somewhere. Don't let that bother you.

I'm going to be partial, ofcourse because I'm in the aviation world I'll say go with Bristow cheesy

Back to reality, how old are you?are you a breadwinner?what are your lifes goal and ambitions?

If you are young with no dependents then Bristow is definitely worth giving a go. But remember, they're not gonna pay you now, its a free cadet pilot training school not employment.

Na you wear shoe and know where e dey pain you pass.
