FemiMaduka: Ejections are not always safe (especially at high Mach speeds). A lot of things could have happened ranging from the chutes failing to deploy, a pilot slamming his head against parts of the canopy structure upon exit, or a broken spine as a result of high G-forces acting against the body upon ejection - an awkward seating posture could lead to this, etc.
All these contribute to why ejections are last resort procedure. Thanks for the clarification |

I’m trying to understand, he ejected and died as a result of complications from the impact of his hitting the ground. Is it the his parachute did not deploy or he wasn’t flying with any? Some deaths are avoidable, may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. God bless Nigeria |

They should put this helicopter to proper use by using it to track killers of innocent citizens in Plateau, Benue, Taraba, Zamfara and co. They shouldn’t reduce it to a means of transport for senior officers. |

MIKOLOWISKA: what is the cost? Do you see how long other roads are taking? I say it’s a very welcome development, I will even prefer private companies are given tax recessions to allow them fix the roads than pay the taxes to a government that will end up looting the funds. |

fkj950ax: How much is the concession he'd get, viz-a-viz the cost of the road. I welcome the concession please. Can we have the private sector fix ALL other infrastructure, so we can have a semblance of good living. Even States ask AND get refund from FG when they fix Federal Roads. The public officials and politicians will misappropriate the tax (which will reduce from the concessions, if given) and still not do the work. You have a very valid point there |
Politics › Re: Davido: 'APC Planning To Rig Osun Rerun Election' by ifymadu: 5:32pm On Sep 26, 2018 |
Davido the politician. Thank God you know they want to rig the election, my advice is, ensure you mobilize your siblings and cousins to protect and defend the mandate. You guys should be in the forefront and I guarantee Nigerians will rally behind you guys. Days are gone when family members of politicians defend their parents from the comfort of their home while poor youths die in the battle front. Nigeria is ours (rich or poor), lead by action and we’ll follow. No more inciting poor masses via social media. Lets go there |

That’s how they went to th UN General Assembly to sleep. Of all places, the lifeless APC leaders chose to sleep at the UN meeting where serious world issues were been deliberated. Useless lifeless thieves. |
Politics › Re: AG Dangote Completes Apapa-wharf Concrete Road, by ifymadu: 4:14pm On Sep 26, 2018 |
It’s actually a good thing that the road has been fixed but for those who think this is a Father Christmas gesture, please have a rethink. Dangote is going to be getting heavy tax concessions for this, it’s not entirely a CSR project, it is more of a do the road with your money and you will get future tax cuts to cover the cost.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very good development that the road has been fixed but it comes at a cost. |
